I'm now back on XDA with my beautiful Z1. Ok i think the most of you don't know who i am... So for explanation:
This -> X <- is MI-ustone-UI , a MIUI Port based on CM/AOSP!
Now i want to join the Xperia Z1 Development with a MIUI ROM!
Sense of this Thread:
I need a Team! I'm atm. a bit busy with moving into a new Apartment, but in 2 Weeks it's done and then i want to start porting MIUI!
Is anyone willing to Help Me? You just need:
-Xperia Z1 :silly:
-Experience with Porting and/or experience with making ROMs
-Logcat experience
-Compiling knowledge (Thats not my part! i'm using 'Bases' to Port)
-Time

The Plan:
-Find a Base (Stock or CM/AOSP!?)
-Find a MIUI Base (Any Device with nearly the same Specs to the Xperia Z1,1080P Display ect.)
-Start Porting ( I can create a flashable.zip (Port))
-Compiling a working boot.img with ramdisk changes for the ROM
-Logcat to find the reason for Bootloop
-DONE? Lets see what happened!

PS: We don't have a stable CM Base ATM though. You may have to wait for it. Plus what will we base our MIUI on? 4.2.2? Remember those camera issues?

I was just thinking to arrange me to do a port of MIUI loool ... I would love to see it on my z1 and give you a hand in some way ... but for now, as bro @iHackers said would be better to wait for a new CM builds as we have some issue with data (maybe there is the fix already)

Im now ready to Start Porting!
I use 4.3 Android (Sony .290 Stock) for this Project,cause CM/AOSP is to buggy atm. Maybe we make later a CM/AOSP Port
It's my first try with Stock, but i think it's Possible and not to hard to realize :fingers-crossed:

Base is ready! The Stock Rom is based on iHackers Stock 1.1 Minimal but a bit lighter :silly:
The ROM is 100% usable as Daily Driver but remeber,this is only a Base for a Miui Port!

I think I have good news for some of you
There are some hints, that there will be official AOSP support from sony for our devices soon.
For all of you, who don't know: There is a official AOSP project for a few sony devices.
Our problem: Our devices aren't supported (yet?).
But there are good news:
1. The Sony Xperia Developer World github account has forked the rhine-common device tree from FreeXperia/Cyanogenmod. That means they are not uninterested.
2. It gets better: Alin Jerpelea, a member of the Sony Xperia Open Source team and member of FreeXperia, will give a talk about the future of the Sony AOSP support at xda devcon in half a month.
3. And now the best: The github repositority for Sony AOSP kernel recently got a new branch, which is at the same caf tag like our 14.4.A.108 kernel
I am really hoping this becomes truth in near future

Does that mean that it could be possible to flash aosp based roms with locked bootloader? Or am I completely wrong here?
AFAIK the repository for current AOSP devices from sony does not contain camera drivers (and others). So don't expect to much from this news.

If I'm reading the commits right, and I'd like to think that I am, then we are witnessing the official AOSP bring-up for the rhine-platform!

That are the same drivers as from the stock kernel, don't expect these commits to increase our camera.

So now we have the Z2 sources, Z2 Pro should come soon as-well, it would be great to start building ourselves a nice CM13 or RR. Sadly I am fully booked for the 2 next weeks and as it's my first CM build (despite I builded some ASOP already), it's going to take me a long time. So the goal of this thread is just to regroup and share the files so we can get ASAP to something stable.
Do we have the sources from the chinese CM13 Z2 Pro build ?

Alright!! Do me a favor, don't use F words in here and read the xda rules, then take a look at redmi note 4 Snapdragon roms / kernel section and check if there are any threads says Mokee, if you find any threads then there's no need of yours! Yep I'm still waiting for the mods, please wait!

Friends am hear to introduce best rom.
I have tried a number of ROM and i finally i find the best. It is nothing but the H2OS (OxygenOS). It has best inclass performance, stability and everything i wanted. It is based on Android 7.1.1
Hear am going to introduce the steps you have to follow on installing this rom.
1: flash the rom (dont flash gaps),flash the kernal and camera blobs.
2:boot for 1st time
3:reboot recovery and flash gaps (arm 64 -7.1)(i recommend nanno)
4: go to settings and enable google playservices.
5: install android webview.
6:install google service framework (version 7.1.1)
7:if neede remove the Chinese boltes (you can do it through twrp file manager after mounting system)
8: Thats it you are ready to go.
Enjoy the fluid experience of oneplus device

Three is a newest version available. You can download it from the club.lenovo.cn. This rom is great. Im using it with stock kernel.

Notification is aosp based. The rom is preroted with supersu but you can change it to magisk

the camera in that video seems to be aosp based, maybe snapdragon camera. the ZUI camera app in ZUI 3.1 is completely different
