MX 4 Pro-Unlock bootloader

Hy guys ,there's a way to unlock bootlader on mx4pro?? i've an A firmware on it ,there 's a way to install an I version??????

no there is no way to unlock it
you cant install "I" firmware if your phone originally had "A" firmware or "U" or "C"
and now most important part.... "I" firmware wont be good as "A". "A" firmware always will be way ahead of any other and "I" firmware will be updated last and will be updated rarely.

It if works or not i don't know, i only know that is info to share with people about unlock bootloader of meizu mx4 pro, the SoC is the same of galaxy alpha maybe will have no problem with it , i don't received my meizu mx4 pro yet but i will try it a soon as received my MX4 Pro. cheers

Absolutely right. Why put something that is not true. That tutorial is rubbish. Takes you to a Ad/Survey site. Just a
way to exploit people. I looked all over XDA for the original post, couldn't find it !!

maybe you can try bootmenu or safestrap to boot cwm-recovery
now,someone had try it boot cwm-recovery use install-recovery.sh(/system/etc/install-recovery.sh),but some server cannot kill ,so cwm-recovery cannot umount /system

I saw examples with TRWP and CWM installation for unofficial firmwares (CM, MIUI).. after analize it I made 2-in-1 script install-recovery.sh - volume up pishing started TWRP, volume doun pushing strted CWM.. for TWRP recovery I made two firmware based on 4.5.6I and 4.5.7I it will correct installing, also I made firmware for CWM recovery, but it unfortunaly - I have some error in installation process - may be I used not correct update-script or have some error in updater-script - but it's dosn't matter - I fix it in the future

I'll be waiting flyme 5 release for CWM adaptation..

So, Flyme 5 has been released, I would like to work on porting a custom recovery, but have never done this before. Can someone point me in the right dirction to do this? I am running the stable 5.1.5 firmware on my MX4 Pro

1. If you have international version meizu device you can install any firmwares from stock recovery..
2. If you have chinese version meizu device you can change ID device from chinese to international and... see pont 1

For those curious, only Deodexed roms can support xposed framework
With xposed + Inteli3g, and after running a debloated script, my note 4 is very fluid (even with TouchWiz) and last 2 days without effort...

I'm currently using a deodexed ROM with xposed and wanam on my N9100. Most things works, except changing stuff colors.
The only thing about this ROM is that the extra settings app already pre-installed (similar to wanam but better) is in chinese, so very difficult to work with (if any chinese member could translate it would be great ).

THIS is the best chinese forum for ROMs that I could find until now.

yes, unfortunately only english and chinese.
a week ago I intalled another ROM that had multilanguage with Language Enabler but I can't honestly remember if I also installed xposed on it or not... I think so, but not sure. if you want to give it a look see the post #36 on THIS thread.

yes, totally agree. i'm very noob at this xda forum and don't want to do anything wrong but couldn't we create a subsection in the "Samsung Galaxy Note 4" section to group things about this specific model N9100?
Everything is mixed and scattered making it very hard to find usefull information and gatter efforts to improve things.

i believe this 5.1.1. ROM just came out for the n9100. i can't be sure if it supports dual sim or not cause the chrome translation is not that clear.
can someone check the page and check this?

I have :
SM-N9100 - Hong Kong.
Updated the device to CHINA - OPEN N9100ZCU1COK1 - 5.1.1 build.
Did a DIRTY flash using Odin.
Install is successful.
No Issues found.
Phone looks less hot more responsive. Good Rom.
RAM usage has lowered as compared to 5.0.1
No network issues. Using 4G Delhi Circle.
Installed GAPPS-PA for 5.1.1
As of now, unable to root the rom.

ZUI 2.5.406 ROM for Zuk Edge

hi everybody,
i'm planning to buy ZUK EDGE from Zuk Official Shop (http://www.zukmobile.cc/buy-zuk-mobile.html)
I'm just concerned about 2 things before my buying :
- Android 7.0 (for the multiwindow mode mainly)
- Multilanguage ROM (French language mostly)
I asked (and a lot of people too did) on the questions page but the people who are answering are once saying "multilanguage is available" and sometimes "just english & chinese".
They updated the sheet recently and it seems clear that Android 7.0 is preinstalled. But which build? They are unclear about it.
I did some researchs on the internet and i found that the most recent and stable build of Android 7.0 for ZUK EDGE is : ZUI 2.5.406
It is apparently bringing every features of Android 7.0, the ability to show "on-screen buttons" (back, menu, app view), and even multilanguage...
Do you have a link to download this 2.5.406 ROM for ZUK EDGE ? Does someone already have it / tried it ?

For what I have seen so far, you'll have to choose between ZUI 2.5 or multi languages. The custom rom are built on 2.3.
Only official rom is 2.5 (my phone came with 2.3 but there was an update ready for 2.5).
I try the 2 Italian rom mention in other post, there is French.
The CM have French too. I'm back on official 2.5,camera is a bit better.

With the OTA,of the update app of zui.
But if you're already rooted, that won't work, you'll need to use the qualcomm tool QTFIL I think, i found the tuto on zuk fan europe I'll try post the link later.

when i open "system Update", it just crashes. my phone goes to first screen.
my phone is Not rootet and bootloader is lock.

From memory it is the official zuk rom, so locked bootloader might work.
fyi, to open the port for qfil i struggle a bit, and once open you need to start the download very very quicly, less than a second....good luck with that.

yes. the original Rom have a lot of chinese apps but u can uninstall them easily

What i am confused about is the phone is advertised as being released with Android 7.0 and i purchased mine directly from ZUK and they say it's Android 6.0, how is that possible? Did anyone here buy official ROM and if so was there an update to 7.0?

I purchased mine directly from zukmobile.cc and it came with Android 6.0 and no updater app or update option in settings. I flashed the latest ZUI from my previous post using this process and it worked perfectly:

Official? I think so anyway, see my post on the previous page. It has English on it you just have to select it manually in settings.

No, I just downloaded QPST and watched the video on mute. You can see everything he's doing.

Ok so i got the phone and it has Android 7.0 out the box! All is good with that. But i have an issue with "ok google" it is greyed out. Anyone?

Some settings in China, that are not presented in India. But India comes w/o Safe centre and it suits me. Also with India I don't have problems with notifications.

Can you port the camera app to other custom ROMs as well?

I know it's a strange question after all this time, but do you happen to still have the ROM file anywhere around?

For Mediatek Devices it is pretty easy because if you manage to build a ROM for a device that has its software made by the same company who did the same software for another device (i hope this sentence is clear), then you can build a ROM for both devices with just some minor changes.

I'll just reply here for the last time, it is OT, but still useful for development
When there is no kernel source code, i use the prebuilt kernel image (included with the Stock ROM), while everything else gets compiled (excluding proprietary files required to handle the hardware).

i bought phone from banggood came with offical outdated software, so i will never get update.the only rom with update is 20170621. the rom that we have here 6gb version,hope someone will provide rom 20170621 for 4gb version.

"Can you do" doesn't exist yet.
It is only the Stock ROM provided by DOOGEE directly, not something I made. You have to ask DOOGEE if you want other variants, then provide me the link.

Ah okay, i thought this was the pure stock Android Rom without Doogee "bloat".... Do you think there will be a lineage Version in future?

It does, I have flashed it on my own MIX.

How did you flash it with SP Flash Tools?
When i connect and try it says BROM ERROR: STATUS_BROM_CMD_SEND_DA_FAIL(0xC0060003)
What does it mean.
