Please tell us what u did exactly. Which update did u flash? Which Rom did you came from?
Did u do the update OTA or via Odin?

it was 4.4.4 and I flash lollipop 5.0 (G900FXXU1BNL9_G900FVFR1BNL2_G900FXXU1BNL9_HOME.tar)
now if the device start up it work like galaxy star:crying::crying::crying::crying:

Did u do a wipe?
If I had those problems, I would reflash my Rom. Wiping and factory reset recommended.
If this does not work; back to KK 4.4.2, wipe data, up to lollipop, wipe data.
Otherwise; back to KK, wipe, root and install a great Custom Rom! [emoji16] [emoji16]
Best regards!

Stock Rom

Hello guys. I need an advice pls.
I flashed a galaxy s4 i9500 (international) with sokp Rom. (Aosp based 4.4 Rom)
Now I want to flash a pure stock 4.4 Rom. Which I never had on my device. I started with custom Roms from 4.2.2, moved to 4.3 and then the custom Sokp Rom. So I need words of advice.
Is there a flashable latest stock rom which I can flash in twrp? If yes, are the steps the same as flashing custom Rom?
Where can I get a link if such?
Thanks in advance.

You can flash through odin a stock rom from sammobile or a custom rom generated from stock from xda where you can flash the zip file you pput on the microsd card for i.e. with recovery. But original stock rom which might be used to restore original condition (for warranty reasons for i.e.) should be flashed with odin or kies.

CM11/CM12 Firmware Repository

Hello
Given that no one has put this up anywhere legible for the whole community to have access to here it is.
If you are upgrading to CM12, you are required to upgrade your phones firmware. Most new ROMs will check for this firmware upgrade.
This can be found here
If you are downgrading to CM11 or CM11S basad ROMs they REQUIRE a downgrade or you will experience all sorts of issues.
This can be found here
Make sure you use your favorite custom recovery to flash these
Cheers
Seven
How to install?
Could you please tell how to proceed? Do I flash the firmware over the installed ROM and then do all the wipes and last flash the new ROM?

The simplest thing to do is to just download the latest CM12 nightly, flash it, wipe the phone(not internal storage)... And then install the LP ROM of your choice
Sorry, I forgot to say that I want to downgrade to CM11S or CM11.

That isn't the simplest solution, the simplest solution is to just flash the firmware zips that are available. Flashing the whole CM12 ROM is kinda like buying a new car because you ran out of fuel, instead of just buying the fuel.

If you want to downgrade to CM11 or CM11s I'm rather sure you don't need any, because they come with the firmware. If you want to install a custom ROM than you probably need to flash the firmware extra before you flash the ROM.

I take it all I have to do is flash both of these files from above and my 05Q nandroid and all should be brilliant.
The Most Wanted
most people missed out the firmware part .. here he provides
Can i use this for 05Q? I am getting battery issues .
I'm not sure I understand - if I'm on stock CM11S, can I not just flash the most recent CM12 nightlies? I have to update the firmware first?

The CM12 nightlies contain the firmware so there's no need to flash it if you're flashing CM12. If you're flashing another Lollipop ROM you do need to flash it though.

The CM12 firmware link posted in the OP is not the latest one...request OP to update accordingly.
what cm11s version of firmware is most stable and battery friendly for 4.4 roms?

Boot into TWRP, full wipe (system, data, cache, dalvik cache), flash firmware and modem, reboot back to recovery, flash CM11, reboot into ROM. You don't need to unlock your bootloader, that remains unlocked unless you specifically lock it again via fastboot. Each time you flash a new ROM you need to flash SuperSU again to get root, unless the ROM is pre-rooted.

note n9005 JB ROM 4.3

where i can get the stock rom 4.3 for note 3 n9005? my first and released note 3 with 5.0 lollipop. i hate it. i want it 4.3 because lovely 4.3 rom. plz give me any bugs of 4.3. rom official. when i installed firmware 4.3 from odin phone bootloop. and dont start. so i see i cant installed 4.3 firmware. so put a rom with installation procedure. thanks!
You may find by search in general section .
Or from the usual stock sources. Samsung-updates or sammobile .Or via google search.
But your Kies backup should have it from when you backed up your original rom.

You are in a Lollipop bootloader, you cannot go back to JB (stock) anymore
You need to root and flash a custom ROM based on JB

Seriously, at this day and age you're better off just sticking with Lollipop.
I know I'm spoon feeding, but I figured what the heck. Here:
Jellybean based ROM
Kit Kat based ROM
I have not tested these ROMs nor am I responsible for what you do with your phone.
Please please PLEASE, DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH
Just whip out the old google, it doesn't take that long.
