Thinking about buying Nexus 7

OK I'm thinking about buying a nexus 7 from the marketplace on xda.
My question is if I buy a month old nexus 7, is the warranty transfered over to me?
If I experience any issues will I be able to get it fixed within the 1 year warranty period?

normally u would pay 249 + tax + shippinng + price for the case

I think all devices have a 1year regardless. Most companies can look up the serial and can tell exactly when I was purchased.
There is no warranty to transfer really as the device itself is covered.

Yes I saw that I was so tempted but that almost $100 over the original price

I just got one. On GPlay its 350+15 shipping+tax. Honestly, after the N7 issues I would rather not purchase through Google. I just hope this thing gets here before It's availible on GPlay.

Yes. Who cares about LTE if you get updates straight from Google.

get a otg cable and put in a 64gb usb drive

I bought one and it ships in a max six days. I obviously bought it Monday. Has anyone bought stuff from DS? Does it really take six days to ship? I just can't wait for my N4!

6 days isn't that bad for daily steals. I bought my galaxy nexus from them earlier this year and it took easily two to three weeks for it to ship and don't expect to hear anything from them during that time. They aren't known for prompt customer service but if you can deal with that you can get some good deals.

I previously bought a gnex from them & it took about a week for them to ship it & about 3-5 days to get it.
I purchased a nexus 4 from them (I had an existing credit from them, so the price difference from the play store wasn't bad). I am pleased/surprised to say that I got an email saying they have shipped mine. They ship from nj & I am in ny, so I should be getting it tomorrow. Pretty psyched.

I want to buy 2 Nexus 4 devices (16 GB), and i want to know the total cost after shipping and taxes knowing that i want to ship it to colorado, anyone can help me with this?

$349 Nexus 4 will be $389 including shipping and taxes. When I ordered a Galaxy Nexus last year for the same price, it amounted to ~$389 (few cents less).
You'll have to pay 2 x $389 = $778.
Note: It was shipped to NYC. I don't know if Google Play adds different tax for each state.

Why don't you just add 2 to the cart and go through the checkout and see? Just don't go far enough to select payment info.

I checked, it seems some stores in my area have the 16 gb version, but not the 32 gb. I'll stick with my amazon.com order.

Don't see why it wouldn't. Can't test online since they are "discontinued".
I just printed and read it and it says all tablets. No mention of not being allowed on the new n7. It does expire 07/28/13.
I will be trying it out this afternoon.

I just bought it at Office Depot and to my surprise, they're throwing in a $20 gift card too. And some McAfee virus mess that I'm sure is useless.

179.99 was the price I paid for my 32GB the day before turkey day with a price match and $50 off coupon at staples. Although the above price in OP is still a good deal

Office Depot is selling the 16GB at $50 off, but only $40 off for the 32GB version. And they have the 2012 16GB N7 for $180.

I want to add that I got this price matched at staples just this weekend as office max was out of stock. Fortunately the website still had some so they didn't freak about the local store being dry.

Staples has been pretty competitive with Nexus 7s. I picked up my 32GB 2nd generation on the Thursday preceding Black Friday for $50 bucks off. That brought it to just 250 pennies more than it would have cost me if I'd seized on Amazon's best price that week even with local taxes. I went for it, being too impatient to wait for the free basic shipping via Amazon.
