Before i begin, i was reading the whole thing about lollipop in the G2, I've found this
But I think that LG also like erriokosd said that they are delaying it also because of g3 abit and they also want to make stable/good builds cause if you remember from the past, their builds weren't always the best but now they are good

If you are so kind, can somebody would like to explain me about that needless to say that zip isn't a kernel nor the android system as seen above.
PS: I think my grammar sucks, but can somebody would like to highlight the mistakes I've made during writing this post. I'll be thankful!

There was a a Twitter post a few days ago by LG, saying that Lollipop will be coming in Q2. Also a few days ago there was a leaked Stock ROM for D802, for Android 5.0.2. So we should see an official update very soon.

WOW! I want that!
oh wow that does look nice
The geniuses from rlToday does have something similar
i dont like it at all, allthough the phone looks quite nice
I like that today plugin much! I want it!
tastes differ. I don't want it either, but before this is ending up in an endless
"I want it"
"I don't"
thread, I suggest that the next message should contain some more substantial help for those that do want it.

well, for the record, I don't want this atm, but possibly someday.
as far as help goes, has anybody resorted to putting a small clock in a bigger one and making a hour hand that's actually 2 hands offset?
just realized you would end up with a phantom 3rd hand due to the 1/4 rotate.
has anybody played with different transparency colors?
I just know enough to get me into trouble.
I believe this plugin is made by RL Today. I believe I saw it here on xda, someone made it for their RL Today..
Here is the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=402547
I followed 42turkeys' excellent How To Root and everything seemed to work as it should. I then used the ROM and root updates from andrewb84uk and they went on OK with no apparent problems. Andrewb84uk has since seemed to lose faith in his own ROMs, although other users, like me, are happy with what he's done. My phone seemed to be working fine, I can boot into recovery mode, and I really like some of the new features on 2.1.
So, my question is this; how can I tell that the root worked OK? I never really investigated the OS too much when it was running 1.5, so I'm not sure I'd spot too many of the subtle differences. Also, it is an updated OS, so any change I see may simply be an update rather than the result of root.
Does simply the fact that I can boot in recovery mode confirm that root is successful?
Go to the android market and type in Screenshot in search...
Download the app and see if it works...
If it does your rooted!
It it doesn't your not rooted!
See below...
It works! Many thanks...

Hey everyone-
I'm asking for help from anyone who's willing to. I don't care if it's not normal for "devs" to ask everyone else for help, this is a community and we thrive on helping one another (by the way, I'm no dev).
Here's my situation: I have the next SkinnyEvo rom ready to be released. It's awesome. The only thing holding me back is a 'flickering' of system animations.
I've attached pictures so you can see what I'm talking about - notice the horizontal lines in the battery status when it's charging, or the downloading icon when using the market. It also happens when typing, scrolling text (like music), the launcher, and even some widgets when simply sitting on the homescreen.
From what I've been able to find, this 'flickering' issue used to be common back before I was involved with the HD2. It may seem like a small issue, but after a day of glitchy animations, you'll go crazy.
I've tried different kernels (only hastarins) and many other things.. but I would like to open it up to other suggestions so we can get this rom released! If you would like the rom "as is" to troubleshoot on your own, PM me and I will provide a link for you.
Thanks a bunch!

I'm still on 5.1.1 and I used Multi-Window on my old Note devices daily for work. I found a temporary workaround (although it's still a MAJOR hassle without it) and this is the Android M feature I've been dying for. Pleeease, please please tell me it made it into the final release for this device. Did it?

Out of the box, no...But supposedly this is a way to enable it. Someone would have to try that out and report back I guess.

Yeah, I installed 6.0, and tried it out. It works... kind of. It's more incomplete than I had hoped and won't work for my purposes. oh well.
If you have root you can enable it easy with a root explore.
