I'm using the odexed ROM from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2799860 and am having audio clipping on Bluetooth that I was not previously experiencing. My question is can I update and keep debloated or is there a Bluetooth fix. BTW I am using ported walkman app, which I was using before on 4.4.4. This version is 4.4.2 on n12 kernal. What kernel do you recommend to keep all features of stock working, increase performances and have more features. I dont want to flash new Rom until 4.3 is out. Is there any way I can download my stock kernel in case?

Hey guys, ever since I've installed Android 4.3, stock and custom, I'm not getting any sound.
Not through my earphones or through my speaker.
I've re flashed this phone like six times in two days because it wouldn't boot at all after first flashing 4.3.
Any help is much appreciated.

The only way to fix this as far as I know is to flash the complete official firmware package via Odin. Then you can proceed to install a custom 4.3 ROM but you may have issues if you use a pre-KNOX firmware.

You may need to flash stock 4.3 full firmware (sadly you will get the KNOX bootloader) to resolve this.

Yep. This exactly what happened to me. Lost sound and wifi. Had to flash latest leaked version 4.3 Via odin, then root it via odin, install titanium backup , delete all that knox ****, install custom recovery, then you can really start playing with your phone.. eg.. custom roms, kernels etc.. hope this helps

Hi, I'm having similar problems I have no sound at all coming from the device, I've read most threads that say no sound on the heading for I9505 and for many people flashing I9505XXUDMH8_I9505OXXDMHA_I9505XXUDMH8_HOME.tar resolved the problem but not in my case.
Last night I tried flashing I9505XXUEMI8_I9505OXAEMI8_I9505XXUEMI8 and after I changed the kernel I got some sound when turning the volume up and down but the phone was running very slow.
Today I tried flashing Omega rom v15 flashing the right modem for the new bootloader before flashing the zip and no sound, I tried changing the kernel, still nothing.
So now I'm in build number XXUEMJ9 and baseband MJ5.
I've also tried flashing stock with a pit file but didn't make a difference!

I've fixed the problem by flashing 4.2.2 stock and have been using it since.
Just rooted my phone. All other ROMs just don't work

I need all in one ROM with wifi hotspot and wifi fixed built in ROM.so i haven't to flash some fixes.Just ALL IN ONE.
I found a latest update all in one ROM in Sprint Galaxy S3...so why i couldn't find like this ROM in SGS4 forums.
Do I have to wait to get like this ROM in this forum?

Can someone direct me to a 4.4.4 GPE ROM, official for the S4 GPE not a port that I can flash on a i9505.
If there is no 4.4.4 what would be the latest one.
Rooted if possible.
Also is it true that GPE ROMs have better camera quality than other non-TW ROMs?

Unless your phone model is I9505G there is no official GPE ROM. Danvdh's GPE ROM in the I9505 Development section is about as close as you're going to get.
By port I meant port from non s4 devices. Also Davids ROM is lollipop, I want to stay on KK.

@OP: Danvdh should still have an Android 4.4.4 version of the GPE ROM available at his site, ported from the S4 GPE to the I9505.
Just wondering if its possible to have the bluetooth stack from android 4.1.2 in 4.4 or 5.1.1? Google ruined the bluetooth compatibility after 4.1.2.
And just as an after question are there any kernels for 5.1.1 that have cifs built in?
