No one is going to answer cause no one has done this, turn it on, see if it works, if it doesnt than go take it in to be repaired, and be more responsible with your device next time.

HD2 Touch screen problem

Hello,
mine HTC HD2 T-mobile US version have problem. The touch screen stop working and from time to time start to working. I`m with Android, reboot lots of times the phone, leave him without battery for 20 hours but the problem is still there. I reinstall android, format SD card and the problem is gone for 12 hours... now the touch screen again not working. The buttons and the android works fine i can accept the incoming calls but cand do nothing with the screen.
Could u please help me what to made.
If you had done a *search* on google, or in the hd2 general section, you would find that the issue can only be solved by replacing the digitizer, either yourself, or paying a professional to do that.
That's right, replacing digitizer( or whole combo) is the only reliable solution!:good:

[Q] Screen is broken but phone works, looking for suggestions on accessing interface?

Looking for a creative solution here. It seems I have a perfectly functioning phone that won't display anything but a short flash of light around the edges of the screen. Capacitive touch works, can feel the haptic feedback. Phone rings, can be answered if you swipe in the right place. Just no display.
I need to send it to Samsung for warranty repair, however I'd like to grab a NAND backup first because they are sure to wipe it. To do that, I need a display! I'm rooted with custom recovery, of course. Can I gain screen control with an app similar to ODIN? If I purchase an MHL to HDMI adapter, will it automatically start showing my screen output on a TV? Is there something else I'm not thinking of?

This might be a long shot but you could try to connect the phone to a tv or monitor. I haven't used it yet. I've not had the money to pick of an adapter or whatever you use. I plan on it though. Either way, I'm assuming it should automatically display on your screen, like typical plug and play devices. Either way good luck. I you could try remote applications, but I'm not sure on how you would get them installed without writing it into the application apk.

[email protected] was exactly what I was lookin for and did the trick right away! The only pre-requistite was to have USB debugging turned on, but who of us doesn't? I can now see me screen echoed on the PC and will attemt a backup before I send it off to be molested by Samsung warranty repair.
Can't figure out if there's a way to mark your reply as the solution, but I thanked you!

It's not in the play store because you don't install it on your phone. It's a Java app, hopefully the forum will allow me to link it: http://droid-at-screen.ribomation.com/

Run HTC Ones S without Display? Please help

Hey guys,
i have an old HTC One S here at home with a broken screen (completely broken and black). I've already removed the screen to replace it some day because i dont really need the phone.
But i was thinking maybe to use it as a little "Raspberry Pi" or whatever. Only problem is, i dont see anything :
The phone itself is fine so its possible to turn it on as far as i know. Still vibrates and the softkey leds and the one on the top are working too when i charge it or try to turn it on.
So my question now is if there is a possibility to use my pc as an external display via USB?
I am not a crack in Android, the phone even wasnt mine (from my sister) so i dont think its rooted or anything.
Does someone have an idea and can help me with that little project?
Thanks
(sry for my english )
Hm, no one an idea?

Thanks. Does not seem to work. I think the problem is, i cannot enter usb storage mode on the device so my pc does not recognize the phone. It is only charging.
Anyway, i ordered a new display and hopefully its worth it
Its 100 €
But thanks anyway.

[Q] I need help with a broken LG G2 please

My LG G2 recently fell and cracked the screen to the point where I cant see it or the screen doesn't pickup any movement from my fingers. I was able to get a micro usb to usb and plug a mouse in and guess where the mtp mode was so I could at least get my photos off which was successful but I still have important things on it that I need to get. I need to basically be able to control a mouse while the phone is connected to my computer so I can use MYPhone Explorer to extract that data off of it. I understand that you cant use a otg for a mouse and then also have the phone connected to the computer. SO my question is if I use this http : // dckina . com /index . php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6_228&products_id=1619 (remove spaces) will it work? It says MHL but the lg g2 is slimport I believe. If this isnt compatible is there a MHL to slimport adapter? Or is there any other way I can get the information off of it? Please any help would be grately appreciated, Thank you!

Do you have a custom recovery? If so, just mount using MTP and pull everything off using your computer.

You can root and flash a rec via adb if you are able to get into developer options. Take a non touch driven rec like clockword mod. You can navigate in it with the volume keys

Ok I will try this, The phone has developer mode enabled right now. I dont want it to seem like I want you to walk me through it because Ill just look up a tut but I have two questions, is developer mode enabled enough to root it or will I have to get back into developer options and enable or do something else? And one more thing would there be a way to accept a pop up window on the LG G2 to accept access to my computer beacause myphone explorer needs me to press ok so it can connect to it and recieve data, but the screen is broken so is there a way to with the back volume keys maybe? Thank you.
Meh. You can get a screen for 45 bucks. Just replace it lol

You must enable usb debugging and to accept the pop up just connect your mouse for one second and then again on pc:good:

I've already tried this, as soon as you unplug it from the computer and plug in a mouse to accept the pop up it disappears:crying: I guess ill just buy a replacement screen and try and install it myself. Thanks guys for the pointers anyways though.
Last option would be to use lg on screen phone if you don't wanna change the screen
