Hello all,
How can I downgrade from lollipop to jelly bean? I'm currently on Lollipop bootloader, and if so, can I install custom KK or JB custom roms in this state without downgrading?
If not to jelly bean can i downgrade to kitkat?

The above thread gives information on how to downgrade to KitKat (Android 4.4.X) from Lolipop. However, how would someone downgrade to Jelly Bean (Android 4.3.X)?

I saw this new Jelly Bean OTA. Can somebody do an Odin flashable ROM?
Thanks,
As u know the users who upgraded to latest kitkat with latest bootloader are unable to downgrade to jelly bean and Miui rom based on jelly bean. So we are unable to use it.
Anyone knows when Miui will be based on kitkat ?

German unbranded unlocked Note 3 SM-N9005 currently on 4.3 build UBMJ3, baseband N9005XXUBMJ2, I want to stay on Jelly Bean because I don't need any bull**** and drama with Kitkat or Lollipop but I want to update to the latest (final?) build of Jelly Bean before I root. Can anyone point me to the highest official build of Jelly Bean for my phone? Also is rooting with Towelroot the best option if I want to install Xposed?

Can I update directly from jelly bean to lollipop?
I have a samsung S4 GT-i9500 and I want to update my phone using ODIN.
My question is if I can update my phone directly from jelly bean to lollipop 5.0.1 (rusia I9500XXUHOB8 5.0.1 versión) without previously update to Kit kat, or is mandatory update to kit kat first, and later, do the update to lollipop 5.0.1
thks,

Hi mate,
Yes you can !!! no problem mate just flash with odin , no need to pass thru kitkat , for safety BACKUP first EFS folder ( important) and all your media, contacts .....
I'm already aware of the Knox bootloader stuff, but with the S4 Mini there's a baseband version of the firmware that runs 4.2, but has a Kitkat bootloader. I was able to thus successfully downgrade my S4 mini from Kitkat to Jelly Bean.
That said, is anyone aware of something similar for the S4? A regional version of the ROM with Jelly Bean, but the KitKat bootloader?
