Is there an option to switch equalizers from sound alive to something else?

When I use an equalizer for example the one in Pocket Player I often get distorted/crackling sound in my headphones as if they couldn't handle the frequency although I know they can. I never get this with audio booster even though I have the same settings in both equalizers. Anyone knows what the problem is, some kind of bug? I want to use audio booster but the damn thing just stops working when the screen turns off.
I downloaded several equalizers for my Note 3 to use with various streaming players (Live365, TuneIn Radio). I find when I start the equalizer, the sound level decreases substantially. When I deactivate the equalizer, the sound level returns to normal. Anyone else experience this?
Yes, I hve the same problem and it drives me nuts. I set the Soundalive option to Rock and myvolume when down so low I could barely here it. Set it back to Normal and the volume is better but still not what it was.
Use Viper4Android sound mod.
Has anyone run into an issue with Dolby Atoms where the EQ changes presets on its own? I listen to podcasts and set the EQ to "Voice" but whenever the audio pauses (notification, voice-to-text, pausing the playback) it always switches back to "Music". It's even done it while I was on the app.
Edit:
I've also had the EQ shut itself off after no audio had been played for awhile. Is this a power saving "feature"?
The issue was caused by a conflict between the Dolby app and n7 music player which wad talked about in another thread.
Hello all ZF3 owners,
I own ze520kl model and It is just me or sound is terrible after updating to Android 7? I have (almost) no bass sounds, anyone else feels this kind of difference? Equalizer makes a little of difference, but not like previously did on Android 6.0.
2 different set of headphones and 2 different player apps.
Regards,
Dan.
Others reported the same.
Looks like I have to hold on to update my phone.
The Android N update for the Zenfone 3 enables AudioWizard audio processing with wired headphones, meaning that any EQ you have on your phone's speakers will carry over to the headphones. There also may be a bug that activates certain AudioWizard presets on headphones without warning. Either way, you can fix the problem of headphone audio sounding tinny or weird by going into the Sound and Vibration settings menu while your headphones are plugged in, and selecting AudioWizard. Once in AudioWizard, set the preferences to your liking or just select Pure mode if you don't want any EQ or anything like that.
Big thanks, it worked like a charm!
Regards!

Will try that settings. Thanks for the advice. :good::good::good:
Sorry for reviving this old thread. I updated to Nougat the day I got this phone and learned that audio quality is worse than my last phone, even with AudioWizard set to Pure. Will audio sound better with the AudioWizard app and service disabled?

I also found two audio packages, "com.asus.maxxaudio" and "com.asus.maxxaudiowizard" which I can't disable via ADB because I'm not rooted.
Hello there, recently I've encountered a problem with the launcher, it has it's own sound control.
That sound control is stuck on 21 no matter how many times I change it to something lower it just comes back to it after a few seconds, that sound control interferes with the sound settings I made on the unit itself and there are static noises because of it.
(I'm sure that's the cause because whenever I lower it, they stop)
And disabling the control does just that - disables the control, but not the sound itself.
I want either to disable the sound setting or lower it without it jumping back higher.
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks in advance.
Anyone? Pls.
To be honest I don't know what you're talking about.
Agama has a sound setting? You can use it to control volume and it has this speed dependent volume adjustment. Both features working fine on my head unit.
Are you sure Agama launcher is the root cause of your sound problems?
