Hi!
If you're having force close issues with the Market app (particularly v3.0), there's probably a few things you've already tried:
1. Clear application data (Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > Market > Clear data)
2. Reinstalling the market apk.
3. Fixing permissions (with an app, with CWM recovery or with "chmod 777 cache" through adb or a script)
If none of those work try checking your language settings and make sure it's a valid one. Otherwise the market crashes when trying to format the currency for your locale.
On top of that, if your keyboard displays only a few digits on the top row for long-press, the language seems to fix this too.
Hope this helps!
Because of 10 message limit I could'nt open this thread in dev. section. First you must flash gappsv6.zip in CWM recovery mode. Next you must open the device to homescreen. When you click the market icon it doesn't start. After that restart again to CWM recovery and you must flash gappsv7.1 or gappsfixer. This solves market download (-101) problem. I only tried Android 4.0.3
Thanks bro
please could you upload the files that you use?

gapssv6 from codeworkxxx http://ul.to/86ig5osy
gapssv7.1 from codeworkxxx http://www.multiupload.com/150X4ISH6I
For me i worked only to flash gapps fixxer with CWM, reboot.
At restart Market dosn´t open, flash gapps7.1 with CWM, reboot and the set up you g account again.
Done!
(using westcrisp v0.4)
even Faceunlock works after that. No other fixxes required!
Is that works or not? Someone who tries (except me ) please writes it down
I had the same and asked Google support. This is what they suggested and it helped:
Hi Sebastian,
Thanks for contacting us. To resolve this issue, I recommend temporarily
uninstalling Market updates. To do so, please follow these steps:
Android 1.6-2.1:
1. Go to "Home" > "Menu" > "Settings" > "Applications" > "Manage
applications"
2. Press "Menu," then touch "Filter'" > "All"
3. Scroll down and select the Market app
4. Touch "Uninstall updates"
Android 2.2 or higher:
1. Go to "Home" > "Menu" > "Settings" > "Applications" > "Manage
applications"
2. Touch the "All" tab
3. Scroll down and select the Market app
4. Touch "Uninstall updates"
This will revert Android Market to the original version that came with
your device. Android Market should automatically self-update to the
current version within a few days - there's no way to permanently
uninstall Market updates. However, you can perform the following steps to
ensure the latest version of Android Market is updated properly:
1. Launch Android Market
2. Switch to the Home screen
3. Wait 5-10 minutes for Market to self-update
4. Re-launch Market
To check your version of Android Market:
1. Go to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications
2. Touch the All tab
3. Scroll down and select Market
Also, please make sure you've cleared the cache and data of both the
Market app and the Download manager. Here's how:
1. Visit Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage applications
2. Tab over to "All"
3. Select the Market app, and then tap "Clear cache" and "Clear data"
For the Download manager:
1. Visit Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage applications
2. Tab over to "All"
3. Select "Download manager," and then tap "Clear data" and "Clear cache"
Please note that after clearing Market data, if you have set a PIN code
and/or a content filter, you'll need to re-apply these settings. If you
have any additional questions, or if the problem persists, please don't
hesitate to let me know.
Best Regards,
Rebekah

I havnt looked into what the gapps fixer does but maybe this is what is does?!
How to remove the "power saving mode on" persistant notification and icon which appear when you activate the power saving mode?
I searched the web, but didn't find anything, despite the fact that I found out that others had that problem, but nobody gave an answer.
I'm on 4.4.2 custom rom (PhoeniX ROM 5.1).
Is there any way to do that? Maybe a Xposed Module?
Thanks.
I didn't find any mod like this.
I found the answer myself.
You have to install the XUtilities Xposed Module > check it in Xposed Installer > reboot phone > enter the XUtilities app > go to notification > hide all notification > select Settings > reboot.
That's it. The horrible notification should go away now.
Hey, so just wanted to ask if anubody knows any apps/xposed modules to revoke permissions and such? Purenexus had this implemented, but since they dont offer cmte version anymore im using du now and really miss this feature. Mainly i just turn off permission for start at boot and prevent from sleeping, but every app i tried doesnt really work. Any suggestions? Thanks
go to settings > device > apps > tap gear icon or the three dots > app permissions
or if it's a permission you can't edit there... XPrivacy
Hi,
since android pie first update, i cannot see notifications about google play store when i'm updating apps(for example).
What can be done?
before hard reset,
thanks.
Hi,
i found a solution that worked for me and can work for anyone which is facing this issue:
1) Settings-> app & notification->see all apps->3 dot at top & choose show system-> android setup-> clear cache and data
2) Go back-> scroll down to download manager app-> turn off all the setting and enable it again
RESTART NOW
3) Go to app and notification-> select Google play Store-> clear cache and data
Now start downloading any app.
