usually the Generic Version has not blotware. And u can change the icon with Gravity, the problem is, NUT recovery is not working on 5.x.
As most of you are worried about having the 4G icon or the LTE icon on your display, here is a list, in order to choose the best firmware for you:
With 4G icon
D5803: Greece, Nordic, Russia, UK
D5833: Australia, Brazil
With LTE icon
D5803: GEL (Latin America), Germany, Italy, Turkey, USA

Thanks, but I don't see BAL listed in the quote you posted, so that didn't answer my question whether it displays LTE or 4G. I'm currently running Customized Germany firmware (DE)

Root on unlocked bootloader
I`m on unlocked bootloader flashed lollipop FTP, after that there is no root and no recovery...
So i flash CM12 kernel with TWRP integrated and flashed SuperSU from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538053
after that i flashed stock kernel from FTF Root is working well
EDIT: That twrp recovery probably i had from fota twrp: http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-compact/general/fota-twrp-2-8-5-0-z3c-t3029989 i unchecked fota kernel when i was flashing FTF in Flashtool

Thx in advance

Yes, of course. simply flash ftf file via flashtool

i had official CM12 kernel from here: http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=z3c
and fota TWRP recovery from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-compact/general/fota-twrp-2-8-5-0-z3c-t3029989
Don`t know is cm12 kernel have recovery inside or that was recovery from fota, i think cm12 have their own "CM recovery" ?

Not sure if you can do it that way but what i would do is downgrade back to kitkat and root using TowelRoot. Then flash this lollipop pre root using philz recovery.
Thanks for confirming, thought that might be the case.

Cheers for this works fine apart from every music app gets killed when the screen is off for a few mins. I've turned off stamina, added exceptions to stamina mode etc but nothing has fixed it. Any ideas? Bit of a bugger when driving/ listening to music. Only started since flashing this.
Edit: sorted was Greenify. Must be a bit more efficient with the new os version as nothing was different from before

[ROM][5.1.1][10.7.A.0.228][C6603][LB] Pre-Rooted, Xposed Framework, XZDR 2.8.23

Hello Everyone
Sony has started to roll out the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update for the Xperia Z.
Thus,I have created this firmware with pre-rooted tool & added SuperSu, Xposed Framework & also XZDualRecovery 2.8.23
You will need to have an Xperia Z C6603 running stock 5.0.2 / 5.1.1 firmware with rooted & custom recovery ( prefer TWRP ) installed in order to flash the zip.
It will only work on locked bootloader.
If you want to get Z5 user interface, visit here

Hk=hongkong, and no, it does not cause any issue in your signal. the región name is used only for preinstalls apps, apps from hongkong región (you can uninstall them)

Thos is what i did but its something like a temporary solution.Essentially you are downgrading your bootloader and installing a beta/non complete kernel. We must wait for a custom recovery to work with rhe new bootloader
Hello, I followed the steps and everything was fine, I just noticed that I no longer have the feedback of the vibration on the soft keys and you can not enable them !!
I think thats an issue related to hacker kernel. Try the spaceX kernel

OK! So, i flash SpaceX kernel and then install SuperSu v2.65 and i checked and i got root! After that, I install TWRP Recovery from Google Play, download t.w.r.p.3.0.0.0 through this app and install it! "Proceed to atemp to recovery" > "Yes" and now i'm in SG S6 logo and... a big bull****!!!
What can do in this phase? Re-flash the ROM VOD for 920F version or what...?
Thanks,

-This firmware it's up to date with latest changes from Xiaomi.-
It is VoLTE working on this firmware?
It should work now, but i can't test It becouse my provider has no VoLTE. Try and tell me!
Any risk of relocking bootloader flashing this firmware?
Absolutely not.
Why i need this firmware?
If you want to flash a CM13/14/14.1/AOSP N rom, you need to flash this updated firmware first.
For what reason i have to choose this firmware instead of another one?
If you have flashed another firmware, you probably have those issues: battery percentage not working, camera autofocus not working, low signal strenght. If not, stay on your firmware.
In this firmware there's no emmc_appsboot.mbn, why?
There's no need to flash bootloader every time and yes, you can flash this firmware safely.
How to install?
-Reboot to TWRP recovery ( latest TWRP by TheStrix recommended)
-Flash firmware
-Factory reset (data, cache and dalvik-cache)
-Flash your favorite Marshmallow or Nougat ROM
-Reboot your phone
-Enjoy

I found that emmc_appsboot.mbn doesn't be included in your new firmware if comparing to CM14.1 common firmware.
Is there any problem ?

@Kris Chen said that that file included in common cm14 fw, there is no any effect if you didn't include that file?
What's the difference between this one and 11.15?
@Psy_Man

why do you think there is no need for that file?
Don't know yet, but it indeed no issue after flashing this firmware.
Is it my wrong image or not because I found signal more stable on this firmware.
