You could try Root Uninstaller or Link2SD. Freeze the apps you consider bloatware, check if there are any strange bugs occuring with your system (force closes and so on) and then finally remove them. Freezing them first allows you to restore the apps if something goes wrong
I tried some in playstore didnt worked for me Now I'm trying Debloater for Gatesjunior.
Are u rooted? Have u tried Titanium Backup?
Yeah, titanium backup. But you can't freeze apps unless you have the pro version
Your phone must be rooted first.
I used the CF-Auto-Root on Lollipop (5.0.1) on my GT-i9505 with CCleaner.
I removed many Apps, my space went from 1,53GB used to like 670MB. ~
No Tool buddy but I am on my new Bloatware List for Android 5.0.x...

I know that I can uninstall anything, but what can i SAFELY uninstall or freeze without messing up the whole system?
I have a rooted G2 on VZW and would really prefer they leave it alone. No custom recovery so I don't have /system access to add/remove/del apps. Is there another way to block this update?
Sorry, apparently this is a minor update, not Lollipop yet. Still interested in blocking all updates because the phone is just fine as is. Is it best to just install twrp or cwm and remove the update apps?
Use Titanium Backup to freeze 'system updates MUC'.
Do you have to leave Titanium Backup installed or can you freeze and then remove the app?

Good question. I don't know the inner workings of the freeze option and couldn't say for sure. You could straight up force remove the updater app also. I just recommended freeze in case you ever changed your mind and wanted to attempt an update for some reason.
I recently did a full restore and re-rooted after running into some issues the first time. Now Snapchat will now allow me to sign in because of the device being rooted. I have done some googling and have tried the "rootcloak" method through xposed but it seems as though it is not able to hide root from Snapchat like it is supposed to. Does anyone have any ideas as to how to get past this without doing another restore?
Are you having an issue logging in? I had an issue logging in, but I disable xposed using the uninstall script, logged in, and reinstalled it (with all my settings intact) and it has been working fine since.
Thank you! Was just able to sign in after uninstalling xposed signing in and re installing xposed. Haha I was over thinking and trying too hard.
You can use Casper.io if Snapchat keeps being an issue.

The uninstall script that I have used in the download link in this forum :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3180960
Im not sure where you got your xposed install or if this will work or if it will cause problems so use at your own risk but it works perfect for me because I got my install from this post
Doesn't work for me on S7Edge.
Running just a debloated version of stock software. Uninstalled framework and Xposed App but still the same SnapChat Login problem. Anyone else have any ideas how to get around this? I'm considering changing back to stock.
Make sure your account isn't locked out. I ran into this issue with note4 after rooting.
Where is the uninstall script, because I have this same issue on my galaxy s7 Verizon after I rooted and I want to try to uninstall xpossed and then reinstall it after I log into snapchat.

In the Xposed sub-forum.
Another option that works is to log into Snapchat before rooting the device. After rooting, make a titanium backup of Snapchat (including the data, of course). Once you've done that, you can just use that backup file to restore the data on any version of Snapchat, and it will function correctly on any Android device, even if the device is rooted.

Hey, I actually did that, but as soon as I try something in Snapchat it will log me out. Any ideas?
I have s7 edge, rooted with xposed.
I wasn't able to log into snapchst until I did this.
1, used a different phone that was rooted but didn't have xposed installed.
2, logged into snapchat
3, used titanium backup to backup snapchat
4, I used titanium backup on my s7 edge to backup snapchat
5, I renamed the files, 3 of them, from the working backup to the same name that titanium backup saved the file names on my s7 edge.
6, I used titanium backup to restore the data,
7, opened app and I was logged in and haven't had issues so far.

The problem is not Root. It works fine with root.
When you go to log into Snapchat, it checks to see if xposed is installed. If it is, it will say there is a problem and will not log you in. You should check your rom to see if it is installed (the files may be there but the app may not).
If i was you, i would clear the snapchat data and then uninstall it. Then, download the "uninstall zip" for xposed. You may say it is not installed, however, elements may still be there. running this in recovery will remove all files. When that has been flashed, you can then install snapchat. Once logged into snapchat, you can then return to recovery and install xposed if you want.
I am currently running snapchat with root and exposed. It will work.

Okay. But snapchat does not have issues with root. What custom Rom are you running if any? Just asking as stopping root will disable xposed, therefore allow the use of snapchat.

Hi guys I am having the very same issue. I initially rooted my s7 edge and snapchat was working until recently after accidentally logging out. I now can't login to snapchat!
I do not have xposed installed on my phone so it can't be completely because of root.
How do I unroot my phone? and will this mean I need to create a backup of my phone?
Thanks!
***** app
I just installed Renovate Edge 3.3 and snapchat doesn't work. Any solutions?
I don't have xposed, and I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

I'm the one who asked the question 2 posts below yours. I have managed to install Snapchat finally after a whole day or searching.
So... yes you have to unroot and reinstall the stock firmware. This will wipe everything off your phone, so yes you have to back your phone up.
After you unroot, you have to log into Snapchat, backup Snapchat up with Titanium, root and install your custom rom and then restore Snapchat with Titanium.
It worked for me. Now I have Renovate Edge 3.3 ROM and the latest update of Snapchat.
As for unrooting, see this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=69426561&postcount=5
Note: Unrooting doesn't fix Knox trip (warranty stays void)
How do you backup using titanium when you have no root

Thanks for that. I never installed a custom rom although i really would like to. I'm new to the roit world and customisation rom wise so need to do some research on it. At the moment I'm using my s5 as a play toy for customisation.
Regarding the SC i just fully unrooted my s5 then logged in to SC. After doing so i created a back up using Titanium back up. Then transfered data across to my s7 edge and restored data which allowed me to log in. I could have just unrooted my s7 edge, then logged in and then re-root but as a noob didn't want to risk any data loss from s7 edge.
What would you suggest as a good custom rom for the s7 edge? I'm using stock rom and don't currently have twrp installed (I'm still new on twrp front and benefits of it too).
Thanks!
Ignore the instructions about unrooting and reflashing stock firmware..
All you have to do is uninstall Snapchat, uninstall Xposed. Reboot phone. Install snapchat and login, go into Titanium Backup and backup the "app data."
Then install Xposed, reboot, restore the data of Snapchat via Titanium Backup and your set. I used to run into this issue all the time when rooted and using Xposed
I have unrooted my s7 edge and flashed stock rom and the problem is solved in my device.

No problem. I thought you had installed a custom rom. Since you hadn't, unrooting would do the trick. In my case, it didn't work. I had to go back to stock firmware and then use Titanium.
As for a good custom rom, I've only tried Renovate Edge. It's pretty awesome. I did some research and compared popular roms and found out it's one of the 1st built roms for S7 edge and is still considered one of the best.

Yeah, that would normally do the trick.
Best custom rom for samsung galaxy s5 is newly introduced Cynogenmod 14.1 .

Wrong forum, this is S7 edge forum
Sorry for that!
Please my snapchat is not working on my samsung 6 edge plus, my phone is not rooted and I don't have xposed. Can't log in! So annoying
I *still* setting up this phone for my daughter, and I'm starting to wish I had just coughed up a little more cash for an easier phone to work with.
I could not get a custom ROM installed... period. Even with flashing Magisk after the ROM, it would still bootloop to recovery and never boot system. I was, however, able to get magisk installed and the stock ROM rooted. She's used to LineageOS, but I figured she'd be just fine.
Magisk manager seems to be working fine, and Root Explorer allows me to delete from the /data/system folder, so I'm sure it's rooted, yet TitaniumBackup just does not seem to work. I'm trying to freeze/uninstall the stock bloat, but nothing happens. It says it's frozen and hidden from the app drawer, but it's not. The app is still present, and going back into the app in TiBu shows the "freeze" option again (instead of "defrost"). If I try and uninstall a stock app, it just hangs on "uninstalling" forever. Same thing if I try and restore a backed up application.
Thoughts?
Freeze app function won't work through titanium backup but the backup and restore app does work, just a little finicky. You have to change the app processing mode to interactive.
Other apps, specifically free ones like "appfreezer" do work to freeze the bloatware.
Seems to be Oreo related, never had an issue on Nougat.
