I m new to Samsung brand, i have Note 4 910F , i want to ask about bootloader , there is lock and unlock bootloader in Samsung?
what about Knox,(i read litle about it and i found it unuseful for me) i install recovery and in download mode apear something like 0x1 whats mean ?

Samsung dont lock bootloaders. Only A&T and Verizon(?) models has locked bootloaders.
When u root or install something unoffical via odin, u lose knox warrantly (0×1).

just wondering as i cant figure out from all these posts , if i Flash a new ROM for my N9000 will it unlock the region for me ?
I understand it will void Warranty , but don't care just want to use my phone

I need to understand ,lots of people talking about knox ,but when im going in download mode ,theres no knox :fingers-crossed:
I know i337m dont have the bootloader lock .
Does knox as someting to do with lock bootloader,if so ,does it mean that i337m wont ever have knox ???
maybe 4.3 gonna bring knox to i337m ?

Hi. As I said in the title, I've just changed my phone to samsung galaxy note3, but I'm not sure how to root this phone cuz I used to use a galaxy s2 before I changed my phone. ps. I live in South Korea and I'm using a Korean galaxy note3 ( sm-n900s)
The things I want to ask you guys are these
1. How do I root this?
2. Is there any custom roms that can be installed on the note3 jellybean 4.3?
3. When I root this device, does something happens to the knox warranty thing? When I searched a Korean developer forum, they said if I root this device, the knox warranty will be broken so you'll not be able to get free a/s.
4. Is the way of installing roms on note3 same as the way of galaxy s2?
5. Is it ok to install non-korean roms on my note3?

Of course - you'll trip KNOX 0x0 -> 0x1 and void your warranty

One piece of advice I will give you. Read until your eyes burn and you know everything that goes wrong/can go wrong and how to fix it if it does go wrong.

Go to Note 3 Android Development session, there's plenty of custom ROMs option there... Enjoy your root!
Hey guys,
a friend of mine has a Galaxy S4 GT-i9515 and wants to get a Custom Rom. I know how to flash the Rom on it and how to make a backup and and and. But the one thing i don´t know is, how I can unlock the bootloader. It would be really nice if someone can show me a Thread or at least tell me how to do it. I searched for a Thread, but i could not find one for the GT-i9515, just for the other models and i dont want to do something wrong. Thats the reason I ask you

I don't think there are any I9515 models with locked bootloaders.
Don't run any bootloader unlock apps on the phone as this will probably brick the phone.
Basically I wanna get Resurrection Remix for my Note 3 But I have to root my phone and get TWRP but I have to get my Bootloader to unlock first. I use SoftStribe guide But the main problem I have us when I type the first command. The phone just resets like normal and it kept disconnected so I can't type the second command. Is there any fix or other method to unlock it? USB Debug: on Unknown source: ON but I didn't download Kies 3 but I did download Samsung Mobile Drivers SM-N900 (Exynos) Android version: 5.0

No idea why you are saying it has a locked bootloader.
Suggest you search and read first .
Ignorance will lead to a bricked phone .
N900 EXYNOS and you are looking at rom for a Qualcomm model .
