Hi,
was wondering if someone else can contribute.
I am using the habit browser on my N4/LP, which I think is (by far) the best web browser available.
But I noticed some really bad screen flickering/redrawing issues while loading a website.
Also happens while loading a webpage in a background tab, the screen flickers like mad until everything is loaded.
Does anyone experience the same with this browser?
I definitely think this wasn't the case in KitKat, but I am not sure. Today is the first time I noticed the bad flickering of the webview

Hi,
I had gotten my HTC legend since march. However, there is a problem that is bugging me on my phone. When accessing websites such as engadget, the web page is rendered with weird orientation of the pictures as differ from the view i get on my computer. This problem also causes some images to be replaced by a small blue box. I had tried into looking for solutions on this issue but could not find any.
However, at one point of time when using Kyosa's Cyanogen mod 6 custom rom, all the web pages is displayed perfectly as one will see when surfing using a pc. I have been using this mod for approximately more than a month and this problem had appear again.
Could any experts advise me on what I should do to get my phone working perfectly.
Thanks,
Troubled user.
What about installing Dolphin Browser HD?
I have tried installing Dolphin Browser HD, Skyfire Beta and a few other browsers. None of them solve the problem.
I am pretty sure it is not a browser issue as during the period when it was working perfectly, I was using the stock browser.
Does anyone else have this annoyance?
While scrolling up or down the browser will sometimes zoom in and out of its own accord.
Is there a fix or tweak for this please. ?.
I have tried other browsers, same problem...
It is normal. Touch wiz has edge zoom on the edge of the browser window. I and many others hate this feature with the burning passion of a thousand exploding stars. There is no fix on stock for this known to me. The only thing you can do is invision the fleas of a hundred camels all bitting the genitalia of the nimconpoop who thought this was a good idea.

It's by design and it's gone with the latest JB update (LL3).
I must be one of the few who used this... I mean, it IS an annoyance during normal use but if you pair the tablet with a BT mouse (which is extremely useful to me on some occasions) it's very useful because you can zoom in and out without touching the screen.
Anyway, it works (worked) only on the stock browser, on Chrome, Opera or any other one it doesn't (never has).
Just to clarify, this happens on me when scrolling from anywhere on the screen not just from the side? And with other browsers...
Did they deliberately go out of their way to make it twitchy?

Then you must have some other problem..
I have never used my N8000 under ICS because the day I bought it was the day they released JB for the N8000 ( :highfive: ) so I updated it as soon as I got it out the box but on the 2 versions of JB I have been running the tablet was/is almost perfect.
I recently updated to LL3 ITV (the Italian one) and then flashed through Mobile Odin Pro the CWM 6.0.2.3 (the touch version) to complete the update. The update solved the only problem I had with LJ9 which I have been running since I bought the tablet 2 months ago: the keyboard lag (and a problem in the gallery displaying high-res pics has been fixed too).
Very welcome changes are also more MultiWindow apps (and among them Youtube finally!), the return of the S-Note widget which lets you display a note on the home screen and some other minor features which can be enabled under settings.
Polaris was also updated (the update was previously shown as available in Samsung Apps but attempting to actually updating it resulted in Polaris FC'ing) and now the system OTA update check works even if the system is rooted and has a non-original recovery.
BTW, I usually do full wipes and a clean install but out of sheer lack of time this one time I have updated through Mobile Odin Pro (and have kept root). Everything runs beautifully but, again, apart from the annoying keyboard lag I really didn't have any real problem before too.
What a fantastic tablet.

Yea it still zooms in other browsers for me as well. But if its zooming away from the e6dge try a factory reset id say.
I'm having some minor problem with google maps. Some of the text it displays is rendered black with a black background (which is unreadable). See the attached screenshot. Does anyone know how to fix this?
This has been happening on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 WiFi (n8013). I've installed Paranoid Androids Full Stock package. I posted a comment to the gapps thread, and they believed it to be a theme problem. But as I understand it, OmniRom is themeless, correct?
Otherwise, I have to say I am extremely happy with the rom. I had stopped using my tablet because it was slow and laggy with Samsung's stock android. Now it is so much better... Thanks to all the developers!
Noticed when browsing with the stock TW browser, sometimes my white backgrounds get this blueish /purplish tint to them. They'll fix their self eventually, but it's kind of annoying. Does anyone else ever experience this? Or is it a glitch with my handset? I could try a different browser but the stock one fits my needs fine.

Just try a different browser to test it.

It's weird because it seems to happen completely randomly. I'll just start using Chrome exclusively for a day or so and see if it happens there.
OK so far no issues with Chrome or Dolphin. Must be a bug with the stock browser.
Has anyone ran across the issue on Oreo where the keyboard photo stay up after you've done your search? Like in the photo.

I just got my device back from warranty and noticed the my keyboard is ghosting bad. Other items as well. Download root browser. And open a file that's empty. And I can see it real good. Like any image I leave on device fore 5 sec or so ghosts. And it's anoyying. I'm on 7.0 still partcyborg rom. I know it's nothing on his rom doing this
Not as bad as yours. Yours looks lime a software issue as it's caught in a screen shot. Mine can't be photographed in ss
yes I thought so also that it might've been a bad flash or bad software but reinstalled Oreo and does the same thing on stock keyboard also.
I have the same issue. I've noticed it happens while using search, then opening the requested app. It's as if the launcher doesn't know how to disengage the app when no longer needed. Also, I'm using Microsoft's Launcher, so I think that my be ano th her part of the issue (3rd party launchers). Anyone else notice the same behavior?
I've found that using the dolphin browser is what did it to mine. Uninstalled it and I haven't had the issue since.
