So Im wondering if it is possible to flash the baseband for the T-mobile Note 4 to the Hong Kong version, as my HK version continuously drops LTE and cellular signal at Random in Atlanta GA. I have been very annoyed dealing with it and want to give it a go if it is a viable option. Any suggestions?

Hi, I bought my phone from Hong Kong and I'm from Canada. I use Wind Mobile but my s4 doesn't have the same frequency as it, I need 1700/2100. So I can't connect to Wind Mobile on my phone, only Rogers, Bell, and etc. I am using the GT-I9500 model. My baseband version is I9500XXUAMDE. Build number JDQ39.I9500XXUAMDE. CSC I9500OJVAMDC. I have never rooted any android phones before (completely noob). So I would like some help and clear instructions please and thank you!
I bought the S5 a few days ago.
The model is SM - G900L, it is with the korean carrier LGU+.
I'll be going back to Canada in 3month and was wondering if this will work with telus in an easy sim swap.
Are there going to be any problems with the LTE, LTE-A, LTE call feature etc?
I tried the telus sim here in korea and roaming seems to work but i dont know if canada uses same channels as korea.
Also, would it be ok to install (if there is such a thing) the telus carrier rom or the generic NA rom without problem?

thanks in advanced.
it should work
Check if the basebands in Canada is compatible with your phone
My cellphone is samsung s4 1337m canadian version. Operator is MTS(manitoba). I went to China last year and to unlock my cellphone, I have to flash the HongKong Model firmware. After I got back to Canada, I reset my cellphone to factory and the model number ends with 1337M, which I believe it got back to canadian version. But occassionally my phone says unregistered with network. Could it caused by the flash in China?

Thanks.
I have bought motherboard of note 3 version 9005, 32 gb with lte function from China. But whatever I do I can't get any lte working in Israel. No matter what career. By baseband it has basebands for all careers but never get lte(4G). Even Though I updated to the latest android lollipop 5.0. Now in settings it has written lte/wcdma/gsm. but actually I can't have lte.
My motherboard region is Hong Kong (TGY), China but I am in Israel.
1. I want to have lte function.
2. Hebrew interface of the phone.
Please help.
I bought a brand new N910C.
It matches all of the LTE bands for my Carrier (Docomo).
I had a Galaxy S5 Active......Full bars.....LTE/VOLTE even in my house or office.
Now with the same sim card, carrier, service, I am getting one bar (if lucky) and 4G (not LTE or VOLTE).
I have tried other N910C modems.......no improvement.
Two questions:
1. So.....can I use a modem from a Note Edge? Would a Note Edge Modem.bin file work from a Japanese carrier? If not, is there a way to port a modem file or modify my existing modem file to be more Japanese friendly?
2. Is there anyway to Put VOLTE on this unlocked phone? I want to be able to make video calls again.
Note 4's are not carried by any carrier in Japan, they instead opted for the Note Edge (SCL24 or SC-01G).
Anything I can do...at all?

Thanks.......downloading it now......will give it a try.
OK downloaded it.....installed it.......now I have LTE.
No signal improvement.......and no VOLTE......I need to find a firmware for both LTE and VOLTE.
FYI........I gave up on this project. Sold the phone to someone in the USA to use on straight talk....they are happy.
