immediate help required .

I've got a galaxy s2 , n i dunno , what happened , but on the phone , i can't put any of the security locks , i can't reboot it using ''*2767*3855# , cuz when i tried , it took ttwo days n it was still boooting , i am facing software problem as well , sim card is not working on my phone , although , the bands do match . i can't download anything from market , as the download arrow appears n vanishes within a second . all f'cked up . PLEASE HELP ME !

go and return the phone and get a new one.

this thread is pretty dubious because you say its brand new, yet it has someones security lock on it? And the sim card doesnt work?

Two options. Take it back to your seller and get your money back or try a complete clean installation. a) Kies repair firmware or b) flash a CF-Kernel with odin, wipe everything and flash a new rom. You can find a lot of guides in this forum.

Sim may not work as wrong APN/CSC for sim/network if its second user .
Factory reset via Hold vol up + Home button + Pwr release at first splash screen and chose factory reset .

My galaxy turned off

Hi all ,
my galaxy s3 had turned off by itself and I don't know what's the problem with it .
I just tried to turn it on again but it doesn't work
1 - I plug it to charger
2 - I remove battery
3 - I tried to turn it on with safe mode
but , it stills doesn't work .

Most likely you got the sudden death issue.

Maybe you wonder where i have him?) someone sold it to me,i was naive to belive that was real when i saw sim and all...now i try to save all i can from it. Please if u can redirect me or help me more with it i will be greatful,i mean is there any chance for him to not delete every time my data? I rooted it,i deactivate the retail **** program,but from time to time he doesent memorize the settings.

You mean Gmate to turn your device into dual chip ? If yes im trying for 3 days sync the internet from my Gmate to my mobile via bluetooth connection and i cant make it work. I tried 3 different SIM cards and all of them i receive network fail. I tried to configure all APN settings and passwords too. If i gound any solution i will let you know friend.

I have read that people flashed stock i9505 NOT i9505x rom via odin. After that they installed recovery and flashed adem kernel. If you don't flash adem kernel your wifi won't work. Good luck, ask if you have to know something else

1 - Download Odin, TWRP recovery, Stock I9505 Rom (?) and Adam's kernel ( search i9505 forum)
2 - Boot the device on dowload mode (push volume down, home and power button until the device vibrate)
3 - Flash the TWRP recovery, and wait for Odin return Sucess message.
4 - Copy the Adam's kernel .zip and Stock Rom file in the device ( sdcard root or what you want )
5 - flash the kernel with "Install" recovery option
6 - after that Wipe and Format every thing you can! (system, cache, etc...)
7 - Flash the stock Rom ( may have some error for the modem.bin but no matter )
8 - This may work now!

No problem man I don't own the phone, I'm really thinking of buying it. If I will, I'll try to make it a real phone. With sim and 4g. But that is very hard.

GPS - Problems .. Weird Issue ?

I have a AT&T MDL Unlocked .. Using it on T-mobile ...
I am Not Sure I have Seen This Issue Before ..
Did Some Searching But Can Not Seem To Find It ...
When you use GPS status or Maps Or Any program that uses GPS.
The GPS turns on ( Get the gps icon ) Then very shortly it turns off!
After a minute or so .. the gps icon comes back and then get a gps locks just fine.
So I start GPS status and it trys to lock .. then it Shuts off .. then waits a minute then starts again and locks.
Its Very Strange .. And kinda a pain in the butt ..
Because if I start MAPS .. the Gps Icon Comes On .. maps see's a GPS lock ..
Then .. Maps HANGS at the Locked Position .. The GPS Icon turns off ...
Minute Later .. The Gps Icon Comes back .. Maps locks again and works great
from then on .. no problems at all ...
Help ? I mean WTF ...

Is the GPS controlled by the modem? If so, would you think flashing the MF3 modem would help resolve his issue?

All I have Done Is Un-Lock to work on T-Mobile
Rooted .. Installed TWRP ... Stock Everything Else ..
Then I tried a custom rom .. still same thing.

How to fix not registered on network

Hello XDA family here is a solution to fix your corrupted IMEI
first of all you must only use this for the devices below
Samsung galaxy S3 GT-I9300 model ONLY.
Samsung galaxy Note 2 GT-N7100 model ONLY.
Samsung galaxy S4 GT-I9500 model ONLY.
Samsung galaxy S4 GT-I9505 model ONLY.
DO NOT USE IT FOR ANY OTHER DEVICE!
Before starting:
Backup your important data first just in case of this process corrupt your data.
Download and install Samsung mobile driver (Skip this if you already have Samsung Kies) (Link below)
Download MODEM.tar.md5 file then unzip it only one time (Link below)
Download Odin3 then unzip it (Link below) Disable the antivirus software, Close Samsung Kies and disconnect any device connected to USB
ports on your computer.
Flashing instructions :
1- Run "Odin3" as administrator, Click on PDA button and navigate to Modem.tar.md5 file that you extracted.
2 - Shut down your device and make sure your device is completely off
3 - Put your device into download mode by pressing and holding (Volume Down + Home + Power) buttons
4 - Press Volume up to continue
5 - Connect the device to your computer by USB cable and wait until you get a sign in Odin (ID:COM section) and "Added" in message box.
6 - Make sure re-partition is NOT SELECTED!
7- Click Start and wait a few seconds until you see "Added!".
P.S:
In some cases this won't fix the wrong IMEI or "not registered on network" message
If your device stuck in boot loop after downgrading, factory reset your device from recovery mode (Vol up+Home+Power)

Bro .as you mentioned It's DMG1 Modem for N7100 & if I am not wrong it's for JB 4.1.2 only.

I thought I had stuffed my note 2, do not know what went wrong , I changed my rom a few times just for fun and then one time, would not register to network, looked for 2 days, tried all sorts of stuff I saw on internet then found this, thanks, thanks, thanks and thanks. I really like my note 2 as I am older and need the screen space to see. :good:

I'm facing the same problem with my Note 2 GT N7105 (not registered on network) but the IMEI seems fine.Is it worth a try and where can i get the Modem.tar.md5 file i can use for the N7105. Only calling/texting is giving me issues but data is working just fine.
And is there an alternative solution ?

I was trying a different rom , and after i flashed it i noticed i was not getting a data signal, also i have signal for calls but when i try to call it says not registered on network. The imei is coming up normal , i tried flashing stock through odin and that didnt do the trick. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated, i have not had a phone for 2 days . thanks
