I thing no differences between 16g and 32g ... but i don't thing it worth the risk in flashing ,, wait until the developers come out and then let a game begin wiz flashing

Updated from 20A to 20C using Flash Tool using normal flash. Went through ok, first look it's pretty much the same.

kitkat installation over lollipop,which firmware do I need?

I'm so dissapointed by lollipop update and I wanna reverse to kitkat.I bought French version of SM-N9005 (everything on th box is in french) 32GB and the software was in French but I set it up in english.Under baseband version is written: N9005XXUGBOD3 but I don't see that version of firmware on this website:

So I don't know which version of firmware I need to install to reverse to kitkat 4.4.1 or 4.4.2. ? I live currently in Bosnia.

A few infos for those who have problems on V20D H815

to all the guys on the international variant who have problems with sot and overheating issue, lg knows about the problems and they are working on a new update, i saw this on a german forum they are allready testing it so it should come online in one or 2 weeks.This information was given them by the lg support. Wanted to share u this because i only saw it in german forum and not on xda. So we just have to wait now

My h815 never heated up, and the SOT was about 3h30m or 4h, depends on the use that i was giving.
If its for us to have 5h....YUPIIII !!!

So m8 u are one of the lucky users but there are some issues on some h815 like strange battery drainage fron 95 to 50% and randomly heating up peocessors even with clean installation of v20d. And sometimes calls dont work properly they are buggy too. And further i have to say that this is the information given us in the german forum by the lg support workers. Lets wait for the changelog we'll see then what has been changed

My model is the 506.
I had install the 20F version this weekend, and so far, so god, but, let´s see what LG says in the next version on the changelog

From what I saw - in V20f LG already fixed the SOT and the heating problem.

Yeah but dont forget that v20f is for turkey and we are officially on v20d so as far as we go officially the issues arent solved for International/european models. And maybe lg releases v20f as v20e for us europeans, lets wait it out

You can install V20f on the international version

One question:
If I'm rooted,will I get information for the new software and will I be able to update it or I must unroot it first?
Btw,I'm on V20d-EUR-XX...

i know that but not over lg bridge, u have to use lg up for this and v20f isnt supposed for the european models because it should be turkey only. On lg bridge v20d is the latest os for my phone but anyway thanks

You can flash it with LG UP.
H815, H815TR, H815L, H815P are all the same model which is H815

Flashed v20f TR on my H815 GBR version serial start 509 Sept 2015 and software showed up as V20-Opt2-HQ so back on V20D and will wait on official release for EU models.

Mine is from Portugal and before I flash 20f it was v20d-opt2 in factory version now is v20f-opt1..... Change the lte icon, volte don't work....I think because my provider don't support that feature.
I will keep this version because besides that I was mencion it works great!

When I have had my LG G2 before I bought G4 it was same as I wrote. I flashed some KDZ and few days after that had been pushed an actualization for my model and the former LG PC suite offered me the update.

If you are on stock firmware you'll be notified and will be able to update whether you are rooted or not (as long as you haven't disabled automatic checks). After the update you will have lost root.
Edit: welder73 a word of caution since many people don't realize that root and custom recovery are different things and you don't need one for the other: if you have installed a custom recovery and get notified about updates do not accept to install them (OverTheAir). Instead find a place to download the update and flash it using your custom recovery.

this is not new , this is v20g SEA ... v20g we got it in other countries since a year ago. v20k italy is latest for our phone.

V20g is internal version for SEA.
It is new version because it includea 01-01-2017 security patch

V20k version some link with Kdz?

Well this shows that LG do still (Somewhat) update our phone. Probably getting nougat in may tho XD

Apparently SEA is South East Asia. I am waiting for an Europe kdz.

yeah mine gets same error message whenever I reboot my phone.
the work around is easy for this problem, press back button.
it is a fair trade-off for me because I get this message in favor of Google's JAN security pack.

It is... As you can see three posts before, there is a solution.
And it is functional because I tried it and it finished the installation.
But I've turned back to 20h for europe.

Just updated to Oreo this afternoon. So far so great, it actually takes less space than the previous version for the lg g5

I'm loving the update so far. The graphics on my games are very sharp and vibrant. The camera I still need to test out but they updated that too. The notifications are more colourful just like the settings page. The update came with some new apps and some new app designs. Capture mode now has a gif capture setting, it's great! New emojis as swell. Overall it looks and feels nice.?

I got the update today, very nice.
But I'm having issues with Mobile data, not sure if it's update or not, I can't make it work.

No information about LG H860 for india market.
