Notes
Display resolution of WeLoop Tommy is 144x168, and it can only display 2 colors (black and white).
Because of this, your digits will be converted to 1-bit monochrome.
Maximum possible size of a digit for first 3 locations is 72x84, but for last 3, it is 32x168.
Also, width must be a multiple of 8, and minimum size is 8x1, but for location 4 and 5, it is 8x2.
All digit images must have the same size, and must match with set size.
By default, your watchface will be uploaded to the gallery, but you can disable it in the extras section.
If you upload the same watchface multiple times, only one will be saved.
Size of date varies by a few pixels, depending on the date to display.
It has a maximum size of 77x16 pixels for the first four date formats and 44x16 pixels for the last two date formats.
I will release new versions with new features when I will have time.

Troubleshooting
If your watchface doesn't show up in the app, or you can't save it because the folder seems empty or you have other problem, try the following.
Uninstall WeLoop app then re-install it, but don't start it yet.
Open a file manager and delete "DIALS" and "Weloop" folders from your phone storage or SD card.
Open WeLoop app, enable WiFi, go to watchfaces and let it fully download them.
After that, generate and sync the watchface again, it should work now.
If it doesn't solve your problem, or you find any bugs, please tell me and I will try to solve it.

Very cool.!
Can you post the .bin or the .bmp files?
Thanks for the app! Step in the right direction for the Tommy! Had a quick go at a few - roman numerals one, a binary one (binary turned out a little crazier than expected!) and a couple of some random numbers i googled
Would it be possible to release source code? On github perhaps, so you could accept merge request.
Sorry, I am not going to release source code.
That's because I am very new to programming, I am a beginner, and I don't even use github.
I just want to do it myself because I want to practise.
Hope you can understand.
Anyway, good news, new version coming soon.

[THE] [Updated 22-01-2010] ₪₪₪ HDWall Wallpaper CAB collection ₪₪₪ [RTFP!!]
NB: [22-Jan-2010] If you would like to request a cab file for your chosen wallpaper, you will find most will be happy to have a go for you. However, when doing so, can you please give specifics of the ROM you are using, i.e WM6.1/6.5/6.5.3, Sense/Manila/TF3D 2/2.1/2.5 and whether of not your version of Sense/Manila/TF3D is CFC compressed (if using a Custom ROM, the Rom Cooker's thread should tell you all of this information). This will greatly help the person who decides to do it for you, otherwise it's a complete shot in the dark, and if you are using anything other than the stock rom, it will most probably not work as they will normally use the default profile (TouchFLO v2.1 - No Compression - All Tabs). Actually, if you know all this info, there's no reason why you can't successfully have a go yourself, as I would always urge you to do. There's nothing like being able to do it yourself!
Here's an idea...changing the wallpaper on our TP2s seems a bit more difficult than in the past. The usual "background 4 all pages" methods that are about seem to cause problems for some (actually most, I think). I personally get a massive lag in screen rotation and other graphical gitches that I can't live with.
The answer is HDWall (massive thanks to maranell0 for this great piece of software)
OK, so it's time consuming and it involves a CAB installation and soft reset (actually, if you skip the restart after CAB installation, just restarting TF3D from Settings>>Personal>>Today>>Items does the trick), but what you end up with is a flawless wallpaper, higher in resolution than the standard methods, same background on all tabs, and absolutely no glitches or lags in rotation that I have noticed.
So the idea is, post your CABs and screenshots and share with the community your creations, save people the time and effort and make changing your wallpaper to suit your mood easy again!
Here's a start.... (also included MobileMatt's Crystal clock...credit to him for that)

***A quick tip for new users of HDWall...Before you start creating your wallpaper, from the config menu select the profile that matches you ROM's WM6.x / WM6.5.x... and Manila/Sense version, otherwise it will not work. Read the instructions on maranell0's post for full details of how it's done! If at first you don't succeed, keep trying and eventually it will seem easy!***
One more thing. I don't personally get this problem, but if the picture doesn't load on the home tab, but all the other tabs are ok, you will need to clear the following 3 values in the registry (after the first install):
In HKCU/Software/HTC/manilla/
clear the value of
1: Cachedbackgroundpath
2: DefaultHomeBackgroundPath
3: HomeBackgroundPath <<<thanks to real187 for this info

At least, put in the title some warning, like, {BORDERLINE PICS HERE, NSFW, 18+}
Opps we will need to be careful here with our pictures or the mod's are going to jump on this thread.
please edit your pictures so we all dont get into trouble, there was this kind of problem in the diamond thread.

Try turning on/off (or reset) your device.
I think the stock rom is still having bugs since I also have this issue from time to time.
Also you could try disabling touchflo in the homescreen and then enabling it again
Just a suggestion guys and gals. All these walls are great. Theres an option to add a layer of color over the image and with that theres opacity options. I find that adding a black layer with some transparency enables much better previews of sms messages, as lighter colors can be confusing.

Okay, here's my theme. I like the colors that coming out of the camera, it looks good with the neon theme on the Xperia.

The task bar icon set is the standard stock set. The TF3D icon set is "Neon Theme v1.2a - Transparent both" thanks to nicelad_uk
The clock, (which is actually in the same manilla file as the icons for the call history and calendar on the home screen, hence why they are different, but not personally my choice) is by MobileMatt...can't remember where I found out so it's attached here: View attachment 200500 - Thanks again to MobileMatt

No, as the target resolution for the program to achieve from your pictures is WVGA. You need to use a standard BG 4 all tabs/pages app on your device with VGA images.

Version 2.1 Icon Fix - corrects icon error (read known issues)
Change log:
- added landscape support !!!! (which the pictures just do not do justice, it looks gorgeous)

- improved image quality
- TF3D font now more readable
- Slider and Theme are now single CAB = Full Theme
**INSTALLATION**
1. Copy cab and install
2. An image will be placed on Device > My Documents. Using the settings tab in TF3D set this Image as wallpaper to enable Hero style clock
3. report any issues to help future development
Known issues:
Known issue #1
Lanscape will look like this if you enable the clock
will try to have a fix soon *** thanks to Aaron McCarthy for reporting the error and for the IMG
Known issue #2
**solved** Theme has trouble with manila 2.5 icons (see IMG below) -- if you have this problem download the "2.1 - no icons" cab below (2.0 must be uninstalled before 2.1 can be installed)
2.1 - no icons.cab is currently beta and may not work with all icon packs. also the email and messages icon in the contact card may not match when you select them
****DO NOT download 2.1 unless you have already tried 2.0 and got the icon error, 2.0 Full is still considered complete theme, 2.1 is the icon corrected version of 2.0 meant for people who get the error below***

is it possible to make the clock a seperate cab?
actually its just the stock clock and a background image that matches the panoramic theme (look at the video) is used to make the box.
I'm trying to see if i can actually build the clock to look like that but so far no such luck as manila doesn't seem setup to handle that layout
Feel free to try it out, as stated above files are un-installable (so long as your not using a different theme already) and it creates a much more appealing and dynamic experience in touchflo than stock (plus its not as gloomy)
Thank you! And you can do the same but for WVGA?

2. an image will be placed in your "My Documents" folder on the device. using TF3D's settings tab set this as your background in touchflo (image is called wallpaper.png)
now on to my issue, i installed V2 cab for VGA & the slider does not show up how its pictured in the screenies. its simply a grey slider that does not show my tab icons. interesting. please check out my screenshot & let me know what i did wrong or how to correct the slider image

I actually noticed this today on a firends divice (he's helping me develop the WVGA backgrounds) I think the theme has trouble if you have the manila 2.5 icons.. it doesn't seem to replace them properly. i'll see if i can work up a fix
get back to you soon (for now i'm just going to list it as a known issue). you don't have to uninstall the theme as the fix will probably just be an addon cab

thanks for the update just saw that today i'll work on it.
in the mean time can you confirm the following with your device (this is what i saw on the test Xperia X1)
- Panning seemed to work perfectly, just when it stops on a tab the image drops down to only cover 1/2 the screen.
- and Landscape seems to be functioning perfectly.
WVGA is getting close
How can i get the icons? I installed the cab but i can not get the icons. I am getting them grey.
well done friend... here works perfect (dia duit rom) but the background image isn't show, of course I tried many times to load in
just a suggestion:: you should compress the png with pngcrush (freeware) with these parameters: pngcrush -d c:\temp -rem alla -brute *.png
even if the best thing should be compress as JPG trough jdo (another freeware)
doing so the BG picture will be less fatter & of course will take less ram
for example porting the png to jpg & compressing with jdo your bg file goes from 148kb to 47kb...

Hi all,
I've created a "Windows Phone 7" clone Photoshop PSD layout. This is for HTC desire with a resolution of 480x800. Could work on other devices too.
The .psd provided comes with guides (the blue lines in photoshop) and slices for boxes like in the preview below. If you know your photoshop, you can handle it
The Iconpack (gallery):

Open the .psd file in the zip-file provided in this post. Notice that the icons and texts are in 3 seperate folders in the layer window in photoshop. I like an organised view when I create/design something
You will see blue guidelines. If you don't see them, go to view - extras - guides. Within those blue guidelines you can create the coloured boxes (1x1, 2x1, 3x1, etc.). Make sure you respect the 10px spaces between the boxes. The only thing you need to do is edit the text and replace the icons.
When you have the layout you want, you go to "File" - "Save for web and devices" - select the slice you want to save and hit the save button
Save those images to a folder on your SD card.
Now you longpress on your screen and add widgets for DV. For example (and this may sound weird) if you want to add a 1x1 widget, select the 2x1 option, assign app, clear text in label and ok.
Then you resize the widget with the resize widget function of LPP or ADW (above, our example had a size of 2x1) to 1x1. If you want to add a 3x1 widget, select DV widget site 4x1 and resize it to 3x1.
For the dock you can take a transparent icon for each of the five positions, the last (which is over the circle arrow) can be used to open up the appdrawer. This works in LPP, no idea how that works in ADW
Procedure without photoshop:
Click the Iconpack gallery link and pick what you want, follow last 4 steps above.
Enjoy!
PS: post your screenshot please. would love to see everyone's modifications. mikecoffee had a pretty nifty take on the "Windows Phone 7" layout with an LCARS theme: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=787060
6 Widgets in each 7 colors:
GenieWidget (weather/news)
Smooth Calendar
Music
Settings (toggle wifi, data, GPS, etc...)
SMS Unread Widget
Digital Clock Widget
Transparent Widgets:
Instructions:
Unzip, decide which color you want and save that .apk
Do a nandroid backup
Pull current .apk, and push new .apk to /system/app with ADB (search forums for more info on how to use this)
Download below, enjoy!

I don't have Photoshop, so could someone just release all this as a collection of image files please?
This is confusing me now. How exactly do we apply this?
Do we just follow the .psd guidelines or does that play a part in applying?

back to photoshop now...
Zooper Widget from 1.80 supports Bitmap Iconsets and allows you to create your own! What it means? It means that you can create widgets with Bitmaps able to change based on ZW variables such as Battery, Weather, Location or anything else!
Important This thread is for Iconsets only, if you want to share themes and screens please use this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2277966
So? Well, you can create a widget with the background that changes based on your location like Google Now does, or show a different image during the day and another at night, or use a bitmap when alarm is set and another when there is no alarm, you can create battery widgets, weather or even show bitmaps based on Tasker variables (and LLama soon). You can also mix all this things up in an unique icon pack with user selectable "modes".
Iconsets are basically ZIP files with an XML configuration and Bitmaps or a TTF font. You can distribute Iconsets alone (this is supported in both free and pro) storing them in the "iconsets" directory on the SD card or you can distribute a template using it, iconset will be included automatically during save.
What is Zooper Widget?

No i didn't, but its quite easy to do if you have the icons, just:
- Download the weather iconset attached to the main post
- Uncompress it, replace the images with the sense icons
- If you want add more conditions if you have icons not currently in use
- Zip it again and place it in the SD card under "Iconsets"
You will then be able to use it in Zooper Widget, just add a "Bitmap Iconset" object and select your new iconset!
First off, thanks to johnuopini for letting me beta / help out with the widget.
Here are a couple of Icon Sets and examples of them in action. The first is a HoloUI / Google Now combination. It contains custom made battery and charging icons as well as Google Now inspired weather icons.
The second is a minimal Wifi Signal strength meter. It defaults to a cell signal icon when wifi is not available, therefore it may not be the best choice for non-cellular devices. Feel free to modify it for your own uses.
I'm working on creating a windows app which will automate the majority of the coding for making the icon sets. I'll be working with johnuopini / frenzy and only post when he's satisfied with it. Everything I do will go through him.
I hope you enjoy my icon sets. Free to use, distribute, and modify, preferably with credit. I'll post more when I have a chance.
Here are a few screenshots of the widget in action
(please note that this is combined with a windows phone style launcher called launcher 8. Every tile other than the two largest, and the tiles which are just a single image, is a seperate zooper widget)

if there is ever an error in the weather widget it will show an empty battery as the default image if it does let me know what the weather is supposed to be you can find this out the checking the #W_CODE# output using the text module. Let me know what image messes up and I'll loom at the config to verify that there are no typos. This is a complete set based on googles images, I may update it later with new but matching images.
Great work! This is occupying most of my screen space now! One issue though, my battery is at about 87% and its showing time left as ~50m which is wrong because my battery lasts at least 3 hours with heavy use. Other then that it looks fantastic!

Regarding the battery strange, are you using the latest version, did you give the widget at least 1/2 days to get a good accuracy on the battery estimation?

Yes its updated and I've been using it for about a day now. No need for new screenshot, its similar to the one in the 1st post. See how it shows your battery at 99% but time remaining is <10m . I think what its doing is showing the time remaining to reach 100% when charging...but when unplugged, I think it should show time remaining before the battery hits 0%. Not really an error or bug, just the way I think it should work. :good:

Ok, i'll send you an email, but would you mind posting a screenshot showing the time remaining when unplugged along with battery %? Right now mine says " Discharging 69% , ~30M LEFT ". even though at 69% my battery will last for a good 3 hours more...
I am trying to use one of the iconsets but they do not come up as one of the options. I created the path /mnt/sdcard/Iconsets and saved the zip files to that location but they do not show up. Only choices I get are what I am assuming are the three default choices.
What am I doing wrong?

I don't know if its required or not, but in "/mnt/sdcard/Iconsets" you have Iconsets capitalized, that MAY cause an issue, but I don't know it it does. The zip files themselves go in that directory, do not extract them. Also Make sure that the Zip was downloaded correctly and contains a config file and a folder structure consistent to what is designated in the config file (usually a single 'icons' folder).

I have tried upper and lower case still no go. The iconset files are downloaded straight from the OP with no mods. They look to have the xml and icon folder as required.
edit: Duh! my fault I was trying to use scalable instead of bitmap, all works fine. I really like this widget good job!

This is quite strange, please try clearing the cache for the widget, rebooting your phone and give it a full discharge cycle, it should show better data then, if not then send an email to [email protected] so we can debug the issue.

Bugs:
None that I know of, but let me know as soon as you find something and I'll resolve it ASAP!
Frequently Asked Questions:
Can you add Wide and Large tiles?
Unfortunately these options are only available for Live tiles, not standard LNK files with a VisualManifest, which is how this utility works. Unless Microsoft add support for it, this feature cannot be added in the near future.
Microsoft Office/Mozilla Firefox/Other shortcuts aren't working, can these be tiled?
There is some mechanism I have yet to understand overriding these from being tiled. The easiest way to resolve this is to go to your shortcut within TileIconifier and click 'Quick Build Custom Shortcut'. This will create a second shortcut with the same parameters that can be tiled, which you will then find in your start menu under 'TileIconify'.
How can I help?:
The source is there if you wish to make any amendments (The code itself could probably use a lot of optimisation). Otherwise, suggestions for UI improvements or features would be great! I have now started adding translations, if you're able to assist with these it would be great!

Really cool. Works beautifully and uses a much better approach than all the alternatives imo. Just needs wide tile and large tile support.

I've honestly been waiting for a utility like this that can accomplish just that, but from what I've read, I'm not entirely sure it's possible.
If Jonno12345 can make this happen, I would be very impressed and basically kiss his feet.

Unfortunately we're all just piggy-backing off the VisualManifest.xml available, which doesn't have a specification for wide or large tiles. At least at the moment, making live tiles is the only way to achieve this. That said, if I ever think of a way I'll be sure to share

Yep. It's unfortunate, because if it did support wide and large tiles, I wouldn't honestly care about live tiles. The tiles are just a really quick, easy way to customize your start menu, and have it look nice.
This is amazing! I love the option simply to extract the default program icon - 90% of the time, this is really all I want to do so I'm already over the moon about this program. Thank you!
The one drawback I see currently is that the custom color picker only seems to support codes that comprise just numbers. Using #ffb900 for a gold, gives back a kind of error - the box where you put in the custom color goes red and changes are not saved.
I actually don't need the wide and large tile support, personally, so if you fix the color picker, this program is basically feature-complete as far as I'm concerned

Thank you - this is awesome!
That's indeed pretty nice and awesome, @Jonno12345 Thanks for that.
May I ask if it could be possible to add an icon scaling option to the tile?
So it's customizable how big the Icon would be shown on the tile?
But that's just a wish I'm glad about your tool as it is. Thanks again.

Have added a light and dark skin on the latest release - I'm not sure how happy with it I am currently, some feedback would be good!
Tweaked a few other things but haven't looked at the icon scaling yet. Still in mind though..!
With the last update this utility is quite solid!
I get an error and crash when I tried to make an icon for Avast antivirus. I just needed to create a new link to the program which was fine. But it looks like some attempts to Iconify a program like an antivirus might result in the program crashing.
If you're looking for any more wishlist items, I'd suggest integrating a visual color picker.
As always, many thanks for this program!

Thanks a lot for the feedback I'm suspicious things like Avast might have issues with things writing to it's own program directory which may explain it. Noted though, thank you.
A colour picker is a great idea, will add that to my list of things to do

Awesome Mate Highly appreciated!
Allthough that dark theme. Dark would look better, then just black:
Maybe set #323232 as backgroundcolor, that would be dark.
something like in DarkSkin.cs
Code:
...
using System.Drawing;
namespace TileIconifier.Skinning.Skins.Dark
{
public class DarkSkin : BaseSkin
{
public override Color BackColor => ColorTranslator.FromHtml("#323232");
public override Color ForeColor => ColorTranslator.FromHtml("#E3E3E3");
public override Color DisabledForeColor => Color.LightGray;
public override Color DisabledBackColor => Color.DarkGray;
public override Color SortableListViewBackColor => Color.Black;
}
}
But maybe another way without using special skinning .cs files would be more appealing.
(Some guy miles away from coding speaking here)
I love what you did so far. It's working great.
Still crossing the fingers for you being able to implement icon scaling

Good input - the dark skin would look better not being pure black. Will change that, thank you .
I'm not very good at UI design, I did have a quick look around for a winforms skinning library I could use but I didn't find any I would be allowed to implement. Either that or they were a lot more complicated than I intend on implementing really requiring images for each element and so on. For now I'll apply your suggestion and the source is there if someone fancies doing a far better job of it!
Icon scaling is still in mind, haven't attempted to tackle it yet but I think it should be plausible
You are awesome. Thanks for doing all that.

@Jonno12345 You inspired me to to install viusual studio (I've never done any coding in my life - I'm some of those graphic guys)

Here's what I got.
I'm no coder or anything near it. you're project inspired me, so I hope it's okay to play around with it for learning purposes.
And maybe you got a hint for me how to "disable/remove" your skin part in the latest version so I can keep on playing around?

I'm no coder or anything near it. you're project inspired me, so I hope it's okay to play around with it for learning purposes.
And maybe you got a hint for me how to "disable/remove" your skin part in the latest version so I can keep on playing around?
Sorry for leaving all dat noobish talking here. I'm just hyped^^

This is a very neat program, but I'm having trouble pinning Custom Shortcuts. I see the created .vbs files but when I right click I have no option to Pin to Start. What am I doing wrong?
What a great find! After searching this afternoon I was almost certain of two things: Oblytile was no longer functional under Win10 and all the alternatives consisted of programs that required resident proxies to launch apps from tiles (that was unacceptable for me). Thinking MS must have gone mad not to include such an obvious feature in their new Start Menu, I stumbled upon xda and this little program. THANK YOU!!
One quick question - I might be missing something here. Is there a way to remove medium tile descriptions from the start screen? Once I have a cool looking tile I don't really need an app name obscuring parts of it.
Thanks again!
EDIT: forget it, I'm an idiot I missed that option despite it was staring right at me
