Did you do full factory reset + format /system before installing the rom? If not, maybe try that. But be careful, because all your data in /system will be gone if you format it, such as music, pics etc. So back those up on your computer before formatting /system.

after hard reset you can check if you have downloaded just CORRECT model rom....

Hello,
I wanted to update my Note to official german ICS (N7000XXLPY) using Odin. After going through th whole process:
extracting, wiping, putting in download mode, chosing N7000XXLPY in PDA and starting, it took some 5 to 8 minutes until odin finished with
"REMOVED!" and the phone restarted with new ICS boot animation.
Now it's stucked on SAMSUNG logo. I've tried to reboot a few times but nothing changes. ANy help would be apreciated.
Thanks,
BruXav
ps: the rookie I am forgot to enable debug mode before going through this :-(

I also have the same problem. Stuck at samsung logo, tried reflash and factory resets, nothing works.
Tried to flash 2.3.6 and it worked fine, then reflash with 4.0.3 but it did not work, still same problem, factory reset / wipe cache does not help
Go to cwm
Do full wipe
Wipe dalvik
Wipe cache
Reset
Should be fine
Worked for me

Hi Guys
I installed the official Gingerbread that is available from the Huawei site. Install was successful however phone boots fine for the first time but once i reboot it I am stuck in boot loop on Huawei logo. Recovery is reset to default so cannot flash anything that way.
I cannot root the phone via SuperOneClick as it needs logging switched on (Requires reboot).
When I access pink screen no drive is mounted in windows.
How can i remedy this problem?
Hi, try to wipe data and cache in recovery.

Thanks for the reply, when i wipe data and cache it boots fine for the first time but when i reboot It loads the OS but there are many force close errors then it reboots itself and goes into logo boot loop.

Thanks Ax1qwer, didnt see your post until i had begun following the below
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1971266
Currently still doing it so will let you know how it goes.
A bit late but thought i better update.
The above worked perfectly and got my phone back up and running again as it was in a sad state . Only downside is my MAC and IMEI are now different which I have still yet to attempt the proposed fix below.

I'm here to say thanks to scux,jo3fis,Ax1qwer. I had the same problem as jo3fis and i fixed it by going back to stock partition and then flashing gingerbread 2.3 518. Thank you all!
Hey. My phone got bricked due to an unknown reason while using the Omega custom rom. I am able to access recovery and download mode. After flashing stock firmware for my region, the phone gets stuck on bootscreen. I've tried wiping data and cache and everything and also using pit file. It says pass but gets stuck on bootscreen. If I try to install any other custom rom also the same problem occurs. If I try installing CM I get a black screen. I can't take it to the service centre as my warranty is void. Please help.:crying::crying:
have u done factory reset in recovery ?

I don't have the phone with me now so can't do that . It's a friend's. He said he's going to give it to the service Centre and he's really pissed with me. I hope they don't discover the voided warranty. It also says it can't mount efs in recovery

I'm hoping this works for me!... Trying it now
Help needed please. I am on stock rooted ROM, and phone has started randomly rebooting during the day, often leading to a big battery loss. I've tried factory reset ; clear cache; and 2 other stock ROM, but it still does the same. Any help or suggestions please?

1. Factory reset your phone.
2. Make a backup of your data and Wipe all in Custom Recovery (this will delete all your data!! CAUTION!!!).
3. Reflash the firmware. In your case: HERE
this is for the black edition, which I have flashed already. Where is the firmware for UK unbranded please? This was what I had originally..
