Can you show a screenshot? It's easier to realize.
In most case I think it is a symbol of some kinds of superuser app?

I dont have a screenshot, the icon is not there anymore, but it was the symbol # next to the bluetooth symbol.

If you're rooted the SU binary needs to be updated. .

On CM12-like firmware this means that ROOT access is granted and an active or background application is currently using ROOT access.
Nothing to worry about. It should be in options to turn it off.

[Q] Hiding status menu bar

Dear all,
Maybe it is possible to add this cool feature for our device?

There's already an app called 'honeybar' that allows you to remove and add the status bar.

Do not need to flash a new Rom, but you do need to unlock the boatload Dr and gain root. In order to get the tablet ui. Add a local.prop file under /data with the property you need. Search the forum.

If you're using stock Rom I would not recommend you to change build.prop, because it disables it a updates, and makes some app not happy
Below is the link for local.prop

"More Messages" icon always displayed

The "more messages" icon is always displayed in the top status bar? I open up my menu and clear any pop-ups but the icon still displays? Isa there a way to find out what's causing this or to disable the icon?

Ok, here's a couple of pics. There are no messages in the cue, yet the icon is always visible?

You have 4 apps that generate ongoing (permanent notifications). There's probably an option in the menu of all those apps for invisible/transparent notification icon. Problem is, the icon becomes transparent but the space is still occupied. And with that network traffic counter, your statusbar is full, even if no icons show.

One solution would be flashing xposed and using something like Flatstyle Status Bar. That's what I used to rearrange the awful default status bar. I don't have the option to root so I'm stuck. I'm sure there are other methods.
