hello i just got the S5 its on lolipop i need help on how to root it with a mac. i been out of the game for awhile now and wanted to get back into things but i have a mac.... So please any help or tutorials on how to get this done would greatly be appreciated! thank you!
You'll need to downgrade it to 444. I use boot camp so I can boot into windows 7 just for this reason

Using CF-Auto-Root. Unziping and flashing this FILE via ODIN. The root support for this device is till android 4.4.2 but it should work too for Lollipop.
Any way possible without a pc?

I have a SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB SMT230 and I need some help to install Android 5.0 Lollipop on it.
I have never root a device and I am actually a bit confused because of the many links around and I want to do it properly. Especially because I have not done this before and I am newbie.
What I am looking for is a step by step guide. The device is still like new without any root inside. And I don't know from where starting. I have Windows 7 in my pc.

So, ive been looking for this and i cant find a simple stock rom on 5.1.1, main problem is im on a mac and sometimes Heimdall dont wanna cooperate with the roms i find, so any help pwould be very appreciated.

Looks like wrong done ROM update, I suggest he tried to update to the CM13 with a recorvery that not supports MM ROM. This phone is soft bricked you need to perform full recovery.
