I guess our Japanese demographic isn't very big.

Did you even read the link I gave you? It links you to a CM11 and CM12 build for the LGL22. However, the development of CyanogenMod for the LGL22 is on hiatus due to an ongoing SIM card problem.

I saw the link and try it b4 but it doesn't work meaning useless. Those CM11 from one of the japenese's dev which currently left over. CM12 from vietnam's dev where I saw the devices tree are port from D802. I did check the kernel logs, it look more on the kernel and dts issue. The only problem none of D80x dev wiring to help. May be ask you said the community using L22 are very very rare.

Hey all,
I am looking around this forum and I see a ton of ROMs. I am a little confused about what Unified means. Does that mean any ROM should work on any Note 3? Or do I have to make sure it says hlte somewhere in the description? (I have the Sprint variant). So many ROMs to try, just want to avoid problems. Thanks!

CyanogenMod has de-unified their builds. Branching into hlte - hltespr and hltevzw. I don't know if this is also the case with TW-based ROMS. Better read carefully the instructions or better yet just browse through Galaxy Note 3 Sprint section of xda dev. You should find everything that's compatible with your device there.

Originally CyanogenMod had seperate builds of Note 3 CM ROMs, but then they decided to merge all model specific CM's together to make "hlte". This is their so-called "unified build".
"hlte" is the Note 3, however there's no such thing as "hlte", as models are classified as "hltexx" (N9005), "hltespr" (N900V), "hltevzw" (N900S), "hltecan" (N900W8), "hltetmo" (N900T), "hlteatt" (N900A). As they all have the abbreviation "hlte", CM took those four letters out and created a build that works for all variants (if applicable on the device).
When the de-unified their builds, they created an "hlte" build but for the specific device that fits it's drivers and set up. I believe they did this in order to stabilize their builds. When they unified them all, I read somewhere that the video drivers caused issues leading to random reboots - even if this isn't so, unification and sharing of common drivers isn't always the best, you would want model specific drivers to take full advantage of your device, and to eliminate common problems that appear on different models of the device.

Only for CM and not TW.
Just wondering about if this rom is available for my Galaxy J7
I will give you some questions back:
1. What is the exact devicename (codename) ? We use the devicenames for building (eg. shamu for Nexus 6) and I don't know what exactly every device on the word has what codename, so I need this to answer your question
2. Is your device supported by cm-12.1 ?
My Device information
Baseband Version is J700HXXU1AOJ5
Kernel Version is 3.10.61-755431
Build Number is LMY48BJ700HXXU1AOJ5
SE for Android Status is SEPF_SM-J700H_5.1.1_0018
And about cm 12.1 my device is not supported
I writed all these things because i don't know my device devicename(codename)

Sorry, aber if CM doesn't build, we will not be able to, too because we rely on their device and hardware trees.
We are only a very small team and don't have the capacity to develope complete new device trees
Cm12 is being developed for samsung j7h&f models follow this thread

Well it's okay
I can wait for your rom :good:

I'm using latest cm12.1 since some time and it's a badass. Phone never lagged & has more free ram. The only bug is that FM-Radio is not working and I think some guy said that SpiritFM is working.
In latest release, some people reported random reboot. You can fix it manually. In your case, having J500H, just flash the provided zip from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=69375277&postcount=334 .
I'm using latest release on my J500FN and fixed it manually and didn't have any problem.
Nick doesn't have enough space on his PC to have both sources (cm12 and cm13) to build and today I'm gonna build cm12.1 from source for J500FN with the manually fix included (Nick Verse done this) and I will try to include JustArchi optimizations (Google it) which are supposed to make phone faster. I don't know if phone will boot with these optimisations and lack knowledge, but Google and Nick might help me If everything goes right, then i will build for the other mofels too. So, it's your choice if you'll wait.
Also, I'm planning to build more ROMS based on 5.1.1 like RR, Vanir, SlimLP / SlimSaber for all J5 models ( I will need Nick help to figure out how to make it for all models from sources).

Hello, I have a Galaxy S4 and I am considering installing LineageOs on it.
It would be the first time I root my phone but I'm very interested to learn about all this
It's model is GT-I9505, but I only seem to be able to find a LineageOs version for the GT-I9506 now I was wondering, can't I just install the LineageOs build for GT-I9506 on my device?
If not, why? And what's the difference between the two different S4 models?
I hope I put this in the right place...
Thanks in advance!
Different hardware.
If you install it, then your phone will become a plastic brick, unable to boot and, thus, useless.
Do you want that? I don't think so.
I don't know where you looked for ROMs, but this forum contains several LineageOS and LineageOS based ROMs for the GT-I9505. There are two development sections for the GT-I9505, how about looking at them?

Why give a link to an unofficial portal that can't even get the supported phone models correct?
There is no need to link off-site, XDA has everything you need as @Pwnycorn suggests.
2 * basic ports:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...-cyanogenmod-14-1-to-galaxy-s4-i9505-t3520456
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/i9505-orig-develop/rom-lineageos-nightly-builds-t3530822
Optimised port:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...p/jdcteam-optimized-cyanogenmod-14-0-t3479888
The OP asked for a link and didn't specify an XDA link. I see the basic port links are for unofficial ROMs. Does a link that is not on XDA make it any less stable or usable?

The site you linked suggests that the ROM works on all S4 models (I9500, I9505, I9506), which is obviously wrong.
Now, maybe at some point in that tutorial it links to specific zips for each model and maybe I didn't see it? I don't know, may be. I failed to see it.
I thought the builds for the s4 Qualcomm versions (9505, 337m, etc.) were unified at some point and are collectively referred to as the jfltexx. The links take me to androidfilehost with files for the jfltexx.
I agree that the 9500 should not be included, but the 9505 and 337m are included.
As a test, I flashed TWRP for the 9505 to my i337m and downloaded the latest ROM from the site I linked. I flashed both to the i337m and it works.
Some people may feel more comfortable limiting themselves to XDA links and forums but I am fine with non-XDA links and non-XDA developer forums too.
I'm not looking to start any sort of debate; I was simply trying to provide the OP with some information and easy-to-follow instructions.
Hello everyone, the Paranoid Android (AOSPA) team has released their much awaited nougat 7.1.2 build for a handful of devices. Is it possible for the developers to port the rom to our Moto G4 Plus? If so, when can we expect to receive an official AOSPA rom for our device i.e Moto G4 Plus? Thanks in advance to the developers.
Athene is a pretty popular choice around ROMing. (LineageOS has 20795 installs on Athene) I would at least expect an unofficial build made by someone. Let's just hope they release an official build for Athene.
I have come to know that the team officially doesn't provide support for too many devices except Oneplus, Oppo, Pixel and the Nexus ones. So the chance of getting an official build is less. So in that case we have to look for an unofficial build.
Just wondering is there any update on Aospa for athene, official or unofficial?
:good:
Maybe this mean something. I dont know.
