I bought s5 G900P from ebay, i live in Israel and 3G works fine (sometimes with issues) ....i've trying to run the 4G...
When i enable 4G in settings, the phone reboots and then there IS NO SIGNAL......and iget a message that i'm ROAMING and lost connection ???????
I was running 4.4.4 and now it's on MOAR 6 OA6 ....but still same issues with the 4G !!!
Is there a way to make this 4G work ???
Any ROM can fix this ????

I been search over a month how to fix the problem i am having.
I bought the galaxy s4 lte-advance from Korea, i am thinking in rooting it but my problem is bigger then that.
Here is the PROBLEM:
I have t-mobile service and I do not receive 4g lte, the area i am at does have 4g LTE.
Setting of the phone,
Device Model number: : E330S
Adroid version 4.3
Based version E330SKSUBMJ6
When I go Mobile networks > data network mode> i only have 2 oppition 1st LTE 2nd 3G
No mater what i receive 4g lte, all i am receiving is 3g.
I would like to know how can I make m phone receive 4g?
I been over 100s of post in this forum couldnt find a related posted.

Hi Filter I've had the e330s in the UK on EE since October and 4G/LTE started off working fine but since Android 4.3 I no longer have 4g. The options are there and everything looks great but never switches to 4G.
Looking at your firmware you are a bit behind though as I am too by the looks of it. I'd suggest trying the latest firmware via Odin and possibly Kies if it let's you (might need to try v2 or whatever its called). Firmware links below

I have a Galaxy S4 with Omega v17 - Modem XXUEMKF and my operator has just released an update to enable 4G but of course I cannot do it since I am not on OEM android and do not wish to be either.
Currently there is no LTE/WSDMA/GSM option in my Network mode list, WSDMA/GSM only.
Can I somehow add that with an update/patch or I need to update to a latest version of OmegaROM?
Will updating the modem add LTE as an option?

The option is now showing up
But I am not getting a 4G signal it seems. And I am in a 4G area since I have another S4 which works just fine.
Did a speedtest and pretty sure 4-5mbps is not 4g speed.
How do you tell by the icon? It's always H or H+ in the status bar.

I recently bought a refurbished S5 G900H , INDIA
it came with pre-installed kitkat 4.4.2, but without using anything on the mobile i flashed a custom rom .
everything was fine until i discovered that there is a problem with the network .
whenever i try to switch network to WCDMA only i get a notification stating "NO SERVICE".
GSM mode works perfectly fine , i can make calls and use internet but with a slow speed,
the same SIM works absolutely fine with other phone with same network setting at the same location .
so i tried flashing all the stock FIRMWARE available for G900H INDIA from www.sammobile.com . but the issue is stll the same .
also tried flashing different modem available but no help .
some time i get a very weak 3G or H+ network but that too in a ground or open space but not in my home .
i have tried all the SIM from carriers available but the issue is still the same .
i can check my IMEI and baseband .
what else i can do ??

Hello everyone. I currently am flashed with XtreStoLite INTL 2.2 and Ktoonsez kernel.
Everytime i flash a rom on my phone it never gets 4G, it only gets H or H+. I have double checked my APN settings and made sure it was set for LTE in my settings but still get the same H and H+.
When i revert back to 5.0 firmware via ODIN it goes back to 4G.
I'm hoping someone can help me b/c this rom is great.

I have lost 4g after installing some roms.There is only 3G.When I force to LTE only it shows no service,but 3G works perfectly.I have flashed ltefix.zip, downgrade to stock rom even there is no 4G.
Please help help, I'm just boring of 3G speed .

Try to change some setting from *#*#4636#*#* menu
there is nothing coming by dialing this code.But 4G is enabled in service mode.can you help with another way?
