Hi i was reading the spec of the galaxy tab. It has an amoled screen but with a resolution of 1024x600. Does anyone knows if the super amoled on the galaxy s can reach those resolution3

Nope

The Galaxy S res is 800 x 480 or 480 x 800, depending on orientation :0)
This is hardware and can't be changed... The TAB has a 7 inch screen compared to the Galaxy's 4 inch.
I just saw the Optimus G for the first time, and surprised at how dim the screen was. Color accuracy was ok, but I compared it to my Gnexus with both at 50% brightness and I was surprised to find that it was slightly dimmer. Compared to other IPS+ screens that I've seen, I was really shocked to see how dim the Optimus G's was. Has anyone seen how it compares to the Nexus 4's? I'd assume that they're the same, but I just wanted to check.
Physically, they're the same. LG may have calibrated the OG's differently, though.

If anyone has a s3 (or similar big screen) and nexus 4, would you be kind and share a pic with both next to each other with screens on?
I`d like a big screen phone (coming from a 4 inch). Thinking about buying this in January...
So is the nexus 4 screen big?

S3 Has a bigger and more usable screen
N4 has about 1cm less of vertical space due the on soft key buttons..
The N4 is teeny bit wider than S3..

Sorry, on a black background you can see the glow of the light bulb as to form a stain?

It looks the same as every IPS monitor ever.
Great color, great brightness, but mediocre blacks when viewed from the side
If you mean light bleeding or bad panel uniformity, yes most (if not all) have that.
R: Question on display, please
And so the infiltration of light from the top of display is normal?

Yes it's normal on IPS screens. The degree that it "infiltrates" varies between devices. my First Nexus 4 had backlight bleeding that was more obvious then the replacement device I have now. The replacement's back light bleeding is barely noticeable.
I've owned various devices with IPS screens
Asus Transformer TF101 (I've handled about 5 different devices)
Asus Transformer Prime (handled about 3 devices)
Asus Transformer Infinity(handled just the one I owned)
LG G2X (Had multiple replacments)
Nexus 4
Nexus 7(handled 3: 2 32gb HSPA+ and 1 16gb Wifi)
All had some light bleeding to a certain extent or another. Some being much worse than others.
I have a RMA for a 3rd Nexus 4 (The one I have now I love, hardly any backlight bleeding and everything is great except there is this one dark vertical line from top to bottom of the screen that you can see on white/gray backgrounds. My original Nexus 4 didn't have any of that)
If my 3rd has worse backlight bleeding than the one I currently have I might just deal with the dark line on the screen on white/gray backgrounds on my current device as that's the ONLY thing that bugs me about it.

Here is a comparison between the G3, S5, and Note 3 screens. As you can see the AMOLED is heavily saturated when compared to the G3. The 2k screen stands out in comparison with the amount of detail that it displays. The blacks are close in color to me at least, but you can be the judge of that. All of the phones were on AUTO brightness for consistency. Pictures were taken with the S5 and the Note 3 respectively.
The G3 is a comfortable size, and I prefer its size over that of my wife's S5. I really enjoyed my Note 3, but this phone just feels much better, and the back buttons really make a difference.
EDIT Updated:
(I had another picture but the file got corrupted for some reason, I'll retake it and post it here)
Thanks for this but I think it would be better if you used the same background on all the phones so you can see the difference better vs different background pics

The picture of earth is technically a 4K or greater (5200x3000) wallpaper, but yes the 2K wall papers do make the most of the display.

Yea I want to see high resolution pictures to see if that extra ppi shows more details. Here's a link for some high resolution wallpapers from another tread on XDA.

Looks really nice.. Kind of over saturated but not as bad as amoled panels. Was a big fan of amoled screens but now I prefer more accurate display. I think amoled screen make pictures look really good and punchy but lcd panels are better for viewing videos. Amoled screens are the worst for viewing dark scenes in movies and has terrible ghosting. Do you prefer the s5 screen or g3?

I prefer the G3, when I use my wife's S5 it's like you are downgrading honestly. The G3's screen feels more accurate to me and the size is much better for reading through text and as you stated watching videos. I had a Note 3 before this became my daily phone so if that gives you any insight.

Apparently lg is making their own sapphire glass as well. But there's a link in the accessories section where you can get a Tempered glass screen protector with full body protector for $10 or around £7. Bought 2 of them for lg g3 and galaxy s4. brilliant offer.. I paid £13 for a normal spigen plastic screen protector so can go wrong for the price and gives you that extra protection.

Was there a noticable difference in size when holding the G3 when compared to the S5? I currently have the S5 and while it already feels a little big when I hold it, I'm scared the G3 will feel even bigger, since it is a bit bigger.
The G3 looks great but I hate talk about how over saturated the S5 looks. Samsung actually gives you a choice. Display mate actually rated the S5 as the most color accurate phone when set to cinema mode.
