Where would I find new charger?
Please look at the other topics concerning chargers... there seem to be a lot of them lately.
Where to get one depends a lot on where you are. If you're anywhere in the world that ebay, amazon, alibaba, dealXtreme etc. is catering to, that would be my first choice. Anywhere else - try universal chargers with replaceable plugs, but watch out fpr voltage, wattage and polarity...
which is better? charger USB charger or direct cable?

Hi guys!
My Galaxy S4 is limiting my charging current. I've got 5V 2A orginal charger for samsung S4 and when I check current with Ampere app is only approx 360mA. I checked this charger on another samsung with this app and there whas approx 800mA. So tell me please, why is happening like this :crying:
Edit: While charging the area of camera is getting really hot (thermal sensors: approx 60 C). Normal?

I changed cable (on shorter, orginal samsung cable) and now i have 440mA but still nothing more. Still 5V 2A orginal samsung charge.
Yes it's a small difference but if it isn't the cable the problem it's should be the charger.
You can try to charge another smartphone with this charger and if the result not change you must change your charger

One is orginal and new, second have maybye 1yr non-orginal
Thick cables usually allow for more current to pass through.
I changed charger on new orginal samsung charger still 5V 2A and still the same. I will add few information to content.

Cables wear out with use. My original cable also doesn't charge with the same speed it used to when it was new.
Is there any way to use stock moto charger but disable turbo charge. Because when turbo charging my phone becomes hot(42° C) and i am warried that this will cause my phones battery to die soon. And i also want to avoid use other chargers beside stock(they always recommend to use stock charger).
I don't think it is possible(maybe root + custom kernel).
U can use any good quality charger ≤1. 2 A, I'm using my old charger from SG Gio 0.7A when I'm plugging for night.
42°C isn't too hot(battery temp. checked with f.e. system monitor lite from play store?).

Yes, it should work fine... if the charger is not a quick charger it will only draw up to ~1.2A regardless of the capability of the charger. I use a Blackberry charger rated at 1.8A all the time with no issues and never have battery temp issues.

Yep. Any quality charger should work. I'm using my LG G3 charger with no issues for about a year now as well as a 2.1A output battery pack.
Fast charging is working by default in Xperia Z2. Just use the dock charging with compatible charger. i tested with a samsung 1.55A charger which is not much of an upgrade over regular sony charger. If mated with compatible quick charge 2 charger the results will be more Impressive.
Using the dock charger eventually nuked the charging circuit in my z2 and had it repaired by sony. I wont use it again even though it was a great idea.

What is the rating of the charger that you were using? Snapdragon 801 supports Qualcomm® Quick Charge™ 2.0 technology

I was using the standard Sony stuff, not quick charge.
Even now it's very fussy about chargers, never been the same since.
To power up, you consume Red Bull. But your phone just needs its adaptive fast charger. Rate this thread to express how quickly the Samsung Galaxy S10 can charge. A higher rating indicates that it charges extremely fast.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
Samsung S10 has 15W fast charging. Itseems that it can charge quickly than the previous version of s series.
It irks that adaptive fast charging remained unchanged from last year and hurts that faster 25W is exclusive to the 5G model .
Reg the new Wireless Charging 2.0.
Where can I get the Wireless charger in UK?
Cheers
I was told that the Galaxy S10 would be capable of 25 watt charging. The advertisement I watched said 0-50% in 30 minutes, and hell my Galaxy S9+ does that. I mean, if there is literally a 0% increase in charging speed I will be just fine. My battery lasts all day (I run medium power saver) and I just charge it at night when I am asleep. I have been as high as 40% charge when I hook it up and last night I was at like 13% and that is the lowest it has been ever, so I really do not feel this will be an issue.

Even the wireless has 12W that won't charge as fast than the 10W wall mount charger. It seems that, wireless will charger slower than the wall mount right?
Josh Quinonez, YouTuber, did a from 0% to 100% charge with the power pack that comes packaged with the phone. You can watch the video here:

you leave it plugged in at night?
I never do that. I usually charge to 85 to 90% and then unplug. I read an article a while ago that said never let your Lithium ion batter go below 20 or above 80 and you will get the good performance you get when it's new for longer.

You see I know how many Samsung fans there are out there but... failing to surpass the limits of 3 years ago and give us anything better than what we can expect from QC 2 while employing the latest latest in Snapdragon chipsets is clearly pathetic. People spending more than a grand deserve more. They are just holding back on implementing it for future phones requiring something to look forward to. All I'm saying is paying for the chipset and the flagship should win you the actual real-world benefits of something Qualcomm has put the road map since 2015. After all it was the taking point for years.

You are right, it has 15W charger BUT, if you charge via USB-PD charger, the device pulls 20W when the screen is off, and 10W if you use the device, I just tested that wuth Omnicharge battery with USB-PD so it should be about 30% faster when using USB-PD

Yes, this is what I metered with the external battery. What you need is 20W or above USB-PD compatible charger, for example from laptop or whatever other device you have that uses USB-PD charger. I have the Exynos version and the phone's adapter is no go, it is only 9V 1.67A...
The 5G version officially supports 25W as I recall but there is nothing mentioned about the 4G normal version

Unfortunately, it's slow like G Power
It only takes up to 18 watts
No real surprises here ... it's a big battery and only 18W charging, so it takes a while.
I can, however, confirm that 18W TurboPower charging isn't just limited to the included charger--it seems to work from any Quick Charge 3.0-compatible source (both wall chargers and battery packs have worked fine for me). (For whatever reason, that fact doesn't seem to have been made clear in the specs or any of the reviews I've seen so far.)

I used standard 18 watts PD charger
Good to know! I didn't have a PD charger handy to test that (presumably the included one is QC3 because it isn't USB-C)
Despite the charge speed, this thing seems to last forever (for me) anyway so I can live with that. I don't need to charge until the evening.
