You're in the wrong forum, this forum is for the S4 Active (i9295). It is a different device than the S4 (i9505). Try posting this in the correct forum for a response.

Hello ktoonsez.Say you can edit your custom kernel for 4.2.2 for samsung galaxy s4 active i9295? As far as I know you need to change the display driver and the camera. Help please only answer. I tested on my samsung galaxy s4 active i9295.

I just moved from a S4 with Hyperdrive ROM to the note III.
I've tried Kingo and it just wont work I keep getting Root failed message.
It's the Verizon SM 900v MJE build Android 4.3
Why can;t I root this sucka??
Any advice.
I would like to root it and install Hyper drive rom on it.

hi.. I m using galaxy s4 GT I9515 black edition. I cant ROOT my device. there is no CHAINFIRE Root file for s4 GT I9515 4g version. Please XDA developers provide me solution. or please provide chainfire root file for s4 GT i9515. I know u can do.....:good:

is someone saying: Just for you to know, I just rooted my I9515 using the I9505 CF-Autoroot file. It all ran quick and easy, as if they really were the same phone.
So try that! Good luck.
