Of course!!
I ported these roms so Captivate users can have more roms to play with.
Roms uploaded.
Unfortunately today i did not succeed to upload also "SlimKat 4.9 weekly 3921 - 2014.05.05" : i will on monday.
To all: feel free to request the port of any Galaxy S I9000 or Vibrant rom.
When i will have some spare time i will port them to Captivate.

Mainly Semaphore Kernel has the merit to make "SlimKat stable 3" so fast.
You can tweak it with Semaphore Manager app (i suggest SmartassV2 and ROW)
Maybe i will incorporate Semaphore Kernel in next ports...
On the other hand if i use CM11 as standard kernel, users can flash later Semaphore or NeatKernel, and maybe reflash rom if they want CM11 kernel.
So they have 3 different kernel options (CM11, Semaphore and NeatKernel)

I was also going to ask for this but kind of hesitated since it is ICS. People using this are extremely happy with it.
Also @Monfro could you please add the Md5ums of the files if it is not much trouble?

Probably this week i will work on it; i have seen too a lot of people happy with it.
From my personal experience i remember that AOKP was the fastest ICS rom, and when 4.1 Jelly Bean was out it was smoother, thanks to project butter. So i think that 4.1 and 4.3 should be both faster than 4.0 ICS. Anyway we will see soon...

I have noticed that i made a mistake on both versions of OmniRom i posted.
I uploaded the new corrected versions, so OmniRoms now are good to go.

My Slimkat is very smooth and fast but I can't get root access any suggestions?

- Posted SlimKat build.4.9 with NeatKernel.
- Posted MackayROM CM9 with GearKernel.
Posted gapps for ICS 4.0 (removed everything about FaceUnlock: no front camera on Captivate)

Settings/About: tap build number many times to activate developer options, and in developer options select root: apps and adb.

It packs GearKernel for ICS, not universal version.
It should be ok.
I decided to use it since it is based on Semaphore, also adding OC steps and it is updated.
There are also a lot of other ICS kernels available.
If you want to be sure before flashing make a backup of EFS folder.
If you will lose the IMEI flash a 4.3 rom like Slim and IMEI will be back.
I forget to write that the rom and kernel have the BigMem mod.
Please report feedbacks on this and other roms.
And also on kernels for 4.4.2 roms...better to use as stock NeatKernel, Semaphore or plain CM11??

Dear Monfro,
It goes like this:
1: Boot to recovery.
2: Wipe data + cache
3: install MackayROM CM9 from sd card:: It restarts itself and boot to recovery.
4: install from sd card/ external_sd :: and then no memory exists there.
5: I have to go back to stock every time.

I forget CM9 is on an old partition layout.
Flash the first time: it converts partitions to the layout used in CM9, then it reboots to the recovery just flashed.
It is normal this way.
Flash the second time: it installs the rom.
But you can't since /sd card and /external_sd are not mounted.
Try this: flash one of the semaphore kernel i linked. reboot recovery and then flash rom.
Tomorrow or the day after i will post again the rom with some modifications.

Cm 12.1 all bugs fixed with new xcelerated kernel for lenovo a6000/plus

Finally wait is over for both lollipop and a kernel
Guys i braught you cm 12.1 with all bugs fixed with the help of xcelerate kernel which helped to fix sim error and other bugs
Procedure just download xcelerate kernel from below link
Featured of kernel ; good battery life,thermal engine and custom hotplug

As Bass_Face said Armani-prod-bld18-npr-CM12.1-R14.zip is a Redme 1s Kernel. Guys Pleaseeeeeeeee don't try this...

Why people are so careless in posting ROMS & Kernel?
Posting a Redmi kernel on a Lenovo A6000 is not silly mistake.Someone could have downloaded the wrong kernel & bricked the device

1) u must be on micromax a120 base ( you can try on other base also but i don't guarentee they work or not ) and twrp 3.0
2)wipe cache dalvik system data i.e. clean to install a new rom
3) flash zip downloaded from above link

// for root use kingroot apk or flash this for older su binary

on mine sound options in settings are working fine i don't know about proximity bug since i used it only for 20 mins. but you can try doing a new clean flash or try proximity bug fix patch for kitkat roms avilable on smokerman.blogspot.com
by the way on which base did u installed

this is kitkat base!! is it possible to have marshmallow based miui?
And is there multi window feature in this rom? because I heard that miui8 is MM based!

first, i never made a recovery secondly i updated twrp 3.0 link with english recovery hope now everything works fine

do 1080playback take high cpu usage or it runs smoothly on 20 to 30 %cpu usage

Building custom ROM based on stock kernel

I want to know that is it possible to have custom rom like cyanogenmod (5.1.1 or 6.0) running on stock kernel . Is anyone working on it ? I know tank0124 had built a aosp 5.0 rom but I (many users) want a custom ROM.

OK. Thanks for your quick reply. So is it possible to build cyanogenmod 12.0 which is based on 5.0.

To use with stock kernel, I think it's only possible to make custom ROMs based on Lollipop 5.0, since it's the latest Android version released by Asus. All above this needs a new kernel...

Teoretical yes, but you will need cm 12.0 source, and i dont know if 5.1.1 device tree will work for 5.0 rom

Dgadelha had been working in something like that, but without success...

upgrading SlimROMs to SlimROMs

Guys and girls.. Its an onTopic question.
On my p3100 samsung galaxy tab 2 I have install slimkat 4.4.4 Now I want to upgrade it to MM slimrom 6.0 stable.
Can I directly move by using CWM recovery or I have to revert back to stock rom and them upgrade.
Steps and links to perform the same can be helpful.
