Hey everone. I bought a Galaxy s4 recently about two weeks ago. I love this phone alot and had not bought a screen protector or a cover yet (boy was that a mistake). One day will walking my dog, I was talking to a friend. The phone was on my ear. Suddenly, my dog jerked really hard and the phone fell out of my hand. The glass is cracked, well more like shattered. Im not very good with phones and would like to ask if it is Cracked Glass or Cracked LCD ? The phone turns on and works perfectly like the first day I bought it. The touchscreen also works on top of the cracked glass. I have seen some LCD's on Ebay for around $200 which I cant afford. But when I searched " Samsung Galaxy s4 Glass " I came up with some results that were far cheaper. So does anyone know what it is ? Cracked Glass or Cracked LCD ? And if it is cracked glass or lcd, where can I find a replacement for cheap (I live in the U.S.). Thank you all.

From my understanding the amoled display and glass are glued together as a unit, if either one is cracked you must replace the whole screen
Yep unfortunately you must get the whole front panel replaced.

Hello.. I had dropped my N4 and the front glass got cracked.. The LCD is fine but touch is not responsive with half of the screen. I'm planning to change just the digitizer. Since the LCD and the digitizer are fused together, we use heat to separate the digitizer from the LCD. But how to paste the replaced digitizer back to the LCD?? Should i use some adhesive tape?? or this ??

Would like to know is that possible to just replace redmi note 3g digitizer glass or required to replace both glass + lcd display?
service center will replace LCD+Digitizer which would be somewhere near half the cost of phone itself.
Local guys may be able to detach the Digitizer from LCD and replace the glass only, but most of them would work on your risk,
they would clearly say if LCD breaks during removal, they would not bear the loss.
So find a good mechanic and get it done.

its the the whole digitizer/lcd assembly. i ordered one from aliexpress, arrived in a month, cost less than $20, refitting only requires a screw driver and steady hands .
