I had a Galaxy S5 4.4.4 December update from Verizon and tried flashing what I believed was a stock Verizon rom from Sammobile in order to apply towelroot. I am now stuck in a bootloop and could use a stock rom. I am new to flashing roms so any help would be appreciated. I couldn't find a link to a Verizon stock doing a search so if someone could provide a link that would be great. Also I have Odin 3.09 on my computer that I am able to use.

Here is all you need. Read the tar install instructions and it may solve your problem.
Thanks for the help. My phone is now working again and I can download the towelroot app.

Hello. I have a Verizon Galaxy S4 i545. It was on 4.4.2 before I installed a custom rom. It had NC2. I want to go back to the stock ROM. How can I do this? I heard that I must use ODIN, but am not sure how to do that. Can someone send me a link to the firmware file download pages and also a link to download ODIN along with instructions on how to go back to the stock ROM? Thank You
Did you even try to google "i545 nc2 odin"?
Recently, I unroot my GT-i9505 and flashed a stock Samsung 5.0.1 to my phone. Now I wanna root my device again and flash a Deodexed stock Samsung 4.4.2. I search through the internet and multiple forum. Every method I try, it fail. Most the time Odin will run until recovery.img then either stuck or fail.
The rom I'm using is lrx22c.i9505xxuhoa7. I tried to use CF-auto root, doesn't work. What you guys recommend me to do?
Search in S4 General. There are tutorials for rooting an Android 5.0.1 device. After that, install a recovery through Odin and flash away.
tell us if you ca do the downgrade, because i want to do the upgrade now, but i donĀ“t now if i will satisfied with lollipop, thanks!
I search for numerous post and thread on internet already. Pretty much none is working.
Here's some method I tried and doesn't work. Also, I can't even install TWRP recovery.

I'm not sure I'm missing something. When I flash, do I really have to wipe data and re-partition?
I can't answer that. I never installed Touchwiz 5.0.1 on my device and went straight from my Black Edition ROM to Danvdh's GPE ROM.
I just purchased an unlocked stock I337 S4 from Ebay that I intend to send to the Phillipines for my fiancee. It currently has MK2 firmware. I would like to upgrade it to OC4 before I send it overseas. I tried using ODIN to flash it to OC4, but it fails.
I managed to root it using Saferoot, and that worked except now it has a lock icon and says CUSTOM on the boot screen, but it still boots fine.
Anyway, I have been reading through this forum for about 3 hours now, and have found no sensible way to update this phone. Even if I could just update it to 4.4.4 I would be happy. Do I have to upgrade it step by step through all the firmware updates? Do I really need to have Safestrap installed to do a stock upgrade from a stock ROM?
Any links that could be provided to make this an easy process would be most appreciated..

Snapping along on stock rooted 0C4 I337, wishing for some good up to date lollipop ROM's to throw into flashfire
I bought a new Samsung Galaxy S5 today at a local T-Mobile store. But it turns out that the model number is SM-G900T3, for which I cannot find any information on how to root and install custom recovery. Has anyone had any luck with this model? It's build LMY47X.G900T3UVU1FOF6 Android version 5.1.1
Thanks!
What to do for G900T3 S5
Same here. I went from S4 running cyangenmod 12.1 to s5 g900t3. All because i cracked the screen on my s4. I don't like the stock firmware too much on the s5 so I've been researching rooting it. But run into the same issue. No info on rooting this model. The only thing I can think of to do is downgrade to 4.2 using Odin then root and install CWM. Yet I found a forum where someone posted they were unsuccessful in downgrading the g900t3. So HELP PLEASE.
Turns out it's actually simpler than that. If your goal is to replace the stock firmware with a custom one, such as cyanogenmod then you don't even need to root your stock firmware. All you need to do is flash TWRP custom recovery with Odin, then reboot into TWRP recovery and create a backup of your stock firmware just in case. After that you should be good to go ahead and install cyanogenmod or any other supported custom firmware. This is exactly what I've done with my SM-G900T3.
But if you really want to root your stock firmware then here is a guide for that:

Hope this helps.
OK thanks for the link. It does state not to flash if I'm on FOG6 Build, which I am. Even though my baseband version is FOF6. Guessing the Build is more important. Last night I tried to downgrade to 4.4 using Odin, that immediately didn't work. So I Flashed Philztouch CWM on it then tried to install superuser from the galaxys5 root page, but it was stuck in bootloop on the T-mobile screen. I realized the superuser was for 5.0 version. So then I used Odin again to flash my firmware back on to it the g900t3 5.1.1 FOG6 from the Sammobile website. After that, because I saw I had a reply on here, I used Philztouch to install Cyanogenmod 12.1 nightly recovery (don't know which on it was, either klte or klteusc) without rooting and I was stuck in the Cyan's big eyed alien face thing bootloop screen again. So then I had to reinstall my stock firmware once more. Basically after 4+ hours of rooting I'm back where I started. LOL. I don't know what else to do. I'm still researching FOG6 to see if I find anything.

Would this be the same procedure to follow if I wanted to put a stock T-Mobile version of 4.4.2 on my SM-G900T3? Or would that not work?
Hi, I meant SGH-i337 in the title.
I beleive I posted this in the completely wrong phone section last time, so I am posting this here.
My device model is the SGH-I337. I downloaded Odin version 3.12.3, downloaded the official drivers for the Samsung S4 USB, but I can't seem to find stock Lollipop 5.0.1. SamMobile only gives the 4.x versions for some reason. I started following the below link for a method to at least flash an older firmware to my phone, but I want to flash stock Lollipop. Is there even a way to get Lollipop back without root?
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-att/help/guide-att-samsung-galaxy-s4-sgh-i337-t3383078
I was able to downgrade, but I still need an official stock 5.0.1 firmware. My virus protection says towelroot is a virus, so I don't want to go that route. If I do an OTA upgrade after I flash the old firmware from the above link, will it brick my phone? It's rootable NB1 ROM. I already tried to install the stock 4.x firmware from SamMobile, but that doesn't work, so it seems I need stock Lollipop.
AT&T never released a stock lollipop firmware that can be flashed with Odin. All at&t updates were released ota.

Hi I am running goldeneye custom rom on my i-337 5.0.1 with ok2 kernel. If you go to that forum thread in development, you will find very detailed instructions to get att s4 to 5.0.1 stock. As a side note I can assure you if you just download towel root on your phone, install and run there is no virus of any sort. Make sure you download from towelroot .com
On second look through I don't think there is stock 5.0.1 using safestrap....
