C-rom for sm-n900
good day..
i finish download the c-rom kk v7.1 20140622 hlte
and im having problem installing it..
i already done
- rooting my phone
- CWM for note 3 (latest)
- released develeper mode
- perform wipe data/ factory reset, wipe cache partition and wipe dalvik cache
everytime i install i get aborted by CWM...
Please, need some help.., need advice

This ROM is not for the N900 models.

im fairly new to Custom ROMs,but I have tested 15-20 ROMs,including diff AOSP, AOKP,TW based ROMs to and I must say I really like C-ROM 4.4.4 v.7.1 of yours. I think I will stick to your ROM since I like ribbon options, and far as possible away from Touchwiz since I grown fond of AOSP.
However there are a few things I would like to ask if possible.
Im wondering if its possible to get the Brightness slider when you pull down notification bar down on the left side.
Also I really like the idea that I can use a image on lockscreen different from the one I have on my homescreens,but I cant for some reaason,is there a way for me to do this on your ROM?
im using TWRP right now, this is probably a dumb question but do those with CWM or clockworkrecovery get better ROm options or extra features?
And the last question is
The Themes under personalization is empty and I would like to install bootanimations and choose that one over the other one in case ive grown tired of it,is there a way for me to do that?
I want to thank the devs making the C-ROM,its truly is the greatest ROM for me out there

I have a question.
Does anyone know how to turn off the popup screens of certain apps? Chrome seems to refuse to open as a full screen app these days and chooses to open as a popup screen all the time. It's kinda really annoying with this particular situation and I can't seem to figure out where I should go to in the settings.

Are you talking about the main browser that comes with the rom? I don't use chrome but I use the rom version. I have not had a problem with this. I will see if I can find the settings for that.

Anyone know how to enable alert on call? So I can get text message notifications during a call via either light sound or vibration? As of right now it does nothing if I am on a call and I constantly have to check.

Download the themes showcase from the play store. There are a few free ones and plenty to purchase as well. I use Tang Cm 11 and I love it.

hopefully we can use the stock kernel I've been using dandroid13 untoched long and trying all the kernels and as the stock does not go either, removing reboots that only I have when I turn off the screen

Hi there, I use Dandroid's Untouched GPe 5.0 ROM .. I think it is great .. but can someone please help me with this issue: I have a Sandisk 64GB that is completely useless !! Sometimes (not always) my phone does recognize this SD card but I am not allowed to write on this card. Media is not found when I try to read from this card (ie picture gallery .. it says media not found but when I look at the details it says there is content on the SD card). It does not allow me to format this card through Android, it even does not allow me to format this card through Windows .. I do not know what to do now .. I tried so much but till now without any result. Can someone help me out ??!! Thanks ! BTW the card is OK .. I can write and read from it in a windows computer .. strange enough it is impossible to format this card in the same windows pc ...

Custom kernel is the only way. Use GoogyMax GE 1.2.7 from the original development section.

The best ROM
This ROM is unbelievable! Very fast and so clean, my i9505G is flying now.
I had some random reboots, now I flashed the Kernel-Alucard-V1.1a-[20-52]-[17-12]-GE-EUR-LP5.0-SGIV-PWR-CORE.zip and I hope that this has solved my problem.

Problems during calls
Hi Guys,
I have a problem, my phone does not respond during calls, if I press any button (Home, Power, Volume) the screen does not wake up.
After the call is ended the phone works perfectly.
What can I do to fix it?

SOLVED this problem using Proximity Fix app on Play Store.

That happened to me too when I was using Mask 4.4.4 . I have no idea with it too. Is it a bug or something ?

Backup with Titanium to internal storage. Clear the data and cache, restore. This should fix the external card issue, assuming your sdcard is not corrupt then you would need to re-format it.

RESPONSE
HI ALL, IM using this rom on my 910h variant of the note 4 with no issues so far, SD card works, 3 mint mod, works, volume boost works. The rom is fast and smooth, the only thing not working at the moment the 4 power menu. I hope this helps some of you.

Hello guys, my question is whether we need to update bootloader and modem in order to flash Masik Lollipop before actually moving to lollipop. In other words do i have to flash bootloader and modem while being in 4.4.4 stock or i can do it after flashing the rom itself? Ty in advance

I`m stuck on the Smasung Note 4 screen and nothing happens.
I diid clean install with full wipes of everything, but still no success.
Tried 4 times with different options....
realy want to try this rom but can`t.

I had the same issue but only when I tried to flash the masik rom from a Stok rom, so my solution was install first any other lollipop custom rom and after a successful boot, back to recovery and install the Masik rom

Anyone have an issue with the camera? when I try to record a video the quality its great but without sound and if I try to record a voice memo it is fine, the audio is good.

system doesn't start on boot
Hi everybody from Milan, Italy, I got this error after deleting 03KevsShadowLED (the only file named similar to the guide) to avoid the led blinking for whatever connections or memory usage. I just want it to show up for notifications like normal. So it is impossible to load system without that file or have I done something wrong? On boot animation the led doesn't work as expected without the file and with all re-installed it works as I don't like to...
I'm coming from stock bob6 n9005 if it helps somehow...

Stuck at samsung logo
I followed every instruction but im stuck at the samsung logo, i tried flashing kernel separately with no luck, i'm using cwm and a sm n9005. I was on a 5.0.2 rom before this.

Hello man thax for ur room but it doesn't work for me when i flash it with cwm it stop on boot on the logo android so i change the recovery and flash TWRP recovery and flash the room again and wipe data like the screenshot that u shared for us after that i the mobile doesn't stop on the logo no it stop on the screen which i choose the language stop on it and the touches doesn't work i install the kernel again but still have the problem do u have any idea please because im really want this room and sorry my english is bad

Did you wipe/ format data? Or or is It possible to restore old data from another lollipop tw rom? For sure thats not the right way but that's the only way ( without stockkernel) to come inside

I installed arter97 kernel and works great. Viper also works!. Go to arter97 thread download 5.0.1 for n9005 then flash it. First boot took really long time like 10 min. So just wait.

Crashing on initial welcome setup
Installed and phone booted on but can't get past the initial samsung welcome setup - where you're setting up your phone and such - it keeps crashing upon the wifi screen. Got past it once but then got crashed again on next screen. Tried flashing the provided kernel FOB6 but with this one the phone didn't even boot on. Tried wiped 5 times before flashing. Still crashed.

Hello,
Sorry if I could'nt answer before, because you were redirected to Q&A thread. This is an automatic redirecting.
You just have to make a backup before flash ( so you can return wihtout problems) and then flash Data, Cache and Dalvik Cache, through CWM or Philz recovery ( this is better). Don't worry about you 're in a lollipop rom actually, because you can change back to Kit Kat without making nothing more.

Not recommended at all.
Different framework and many different customizations in wonitor's .
Best is to do it with all wipes . except SD card.

I would like to ask you and Atrankas to put changelog of the version every time you add a new version for download on page 1. In the MIUI site the changelog is in chinese and translation doesn't work properly. In the system update I can also see the changelog but also in chinese, so i dont know what are the changes.
