Here's a tutorial i made on How to Install Lollipop on Moto E as there seem to be many problems with people trying different methods:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Refs73469IA
There currently are 7 guides doing effectively the same thing, I'm closing all of them except for this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e/general/how-to-install-lollipop-update-moto-e-t3028798

Meanwhile <reboot> (boot loader, recovery) and <device> button will work for all moto variant you can check that.......
Are you requesting for the port? or else you should be posting this in the Moto E forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e
A simple bat/shell script is enough IMO.
Hello. I would like to start a new topic.
* has anyone tried installing vipera4
the motorola moto x Force marshmallow
It can publish as he proceeded? thank you
I see theres but one root thread on this device and even that one is just for beta testing and not stable. Is there anyone working on getting this device rooted?
I haven't tested this so don't take my word on it, but a user on the Moto G4 Plus forums with a XT1622 (normal moto g4) used this guide and rooted their phone. This relies on the G4 Plus build on TWRP working on the G4 which I don't know if it does

I've done it according to the indicated link and it works.

Click to collapse
The same as any other phone.
Surprised nothing been out already, quite a popular and decently priced phone.... will keep my eyes open for updates
Hey there!
I was browsing the forums and stuff, and found various guides to do so, and some do it differently that others.
So what's the best method to root a Moto G5 Plus?
Magisk I believe?
