In the android wear sdk, is there any way to turn on aeroplane mode? or if not, to turn off the allways-on display on the watch?
I want to create and application that turns off bluetooth at night to save battery. (or turns off the display)
Thanks
I think this one can help you

As far as I know, the only way to turn it off properly, is to root the mojo and then install an app which can turn it off like this one here for example:

OK, next thing to do is to get a male-male USB cable.

Negative. MOJO is an "always on" device. There is no power button and is meant to run all the time.

Technically, it has a power button, but it's hidden under the case.
Button 1: Short press is standby. Long press brings up the shoot-down menu.
Button 2: is a reset button.
In theory, it should be possibly to switch off the device per app. But, since it isn't in standby, it's necessary to replug the power cord for a restart.
The "always on" thing is very annoying. Even if the M.O.J.O set the screen output in standby, the very bright LED blinks from time to time.
Hi, anyone here know have Galaxy Note 4 got Schedule Power On/Off?
I want to turn off my device and turn on automatically by pre-set timer. I saw other brand devices can set this function on the setting, why Samsung Galaxy series don't have this function?
Or can use other apps to make it?
Thank you.

Turning off on a preset timer by an app is easy but turning on... how can turn on if so is not running?
Think in an old crt TV. If you power off using power button on TV the timer don't work but if you turn off using power button on remote controller timer works because TV was on stand by mode.
When you turn off your phone is like power off TV with power button. No stand by mode so cannot turn it on by software

As previous reply said:
turning off = YES
turning on = NO
Only some type of phone (rare) & a computer can do that (with capable BIOS)
Each phone has its own advantages/disadvantages & our phone has Ultra Powersaving + S-Pen
This is driving me nuts. I have manually turned off many times but it keeps auto turning on during the day. I am missing important notifications. Is there a way to completely disable or fix this?
Any idea here folks? I have a hard time believing I am the only one.
Maybe Samsung sync is syncing previous settings constantly. Disable sync and see how you go? I've always had DnD on
What is DND?

Do Not Disturb (DND) is a feature that prevents notifications, pop ups, sounds during certain times such as at night when you are sleeping or during meetings. In my case, I have explicitly turned it off, yet it keeps turning itself on. I have a Smart Home with dozens of sensors, lights etc that notify me things happen but I am missing a lot because my phone is in a coma.
No solution to your issue but maybe some suggestions :
- you could use a tool like Automagic to log the time when this happens. Could give you some hint.
- you could even program Automagic to switch DND back off instantly when it turns on (dirty work around)
- you could factory reset / reflash the device and start setup from scratch (progressively) to determine if a specific app is responsible.
Bye

I stopped using DND because the settings within it were changing on their own. For example it would change from custom to no exceptions. In your case maybe you could use the custom setting to allow everything as an exception. Crappy workaround. I am using an app to control the sounds/notifications. That won't help you at all if DND keeps turning on.
DND keeps turning on
DND keeps turning on without being commanded too. At least twice today, and previously.
I thought at 1st I must have been turning it on by accident. I don't think so anymore. Are there any apps that will turn this on? Maybe I installed something.
Hey there, I have a problem I have never encountered before in any phone.
My Axon 7's alarm won't go off but only at certain times. I wake everyday 07.15 but the alarm will only go off after 07.30. When my alarm clock won't ring, there is always this strange icon on the top right of the screen (the circle with the line in the diagonal). It's a very weird problem and I have no idea what the possible solution might be.
1) I have tried reboots, cache cleaning in the recovery, changing the sound, deleting data and force closing the app, using another app with no luck.
2) I don't know what that icon means and what triggers it. My alarm works like normal during the day but probably some time at night this icon pop ups and my alarm won't ring.
3) It's very weird, but at 07.30 exactly the icon goes away and the alarm works as normal.
4) I don't use things like don't disturb, I have practically searched every setting.
5) I have an A2017G, on B10 Nougat software, locked and not rooted.
Do you have any idea what that icon means ?? Is there any solution you can think of ??
That is do not disturb mode. When you keep pressing volume down you will enter that mode. You have probably set it to run at night.
Yes and to deactivate it, go to :
Settings / sound / do not disturb
And verify all the settings of this option.
You can activate the do not disturb on differents periods of time and events.

I use it but have alarms as permissible events so they sound no matter what time is set. Great feature.
Hi,
When i press the honor band home button sometimes the screen does not turn on, even if I press it several times.
If I wait 10 minutes the screen will start working again.
In the morning when the alarm rings on the honor band it vibrates but the screen remains black, impossible to silence the alarm.
I have reset the honor band 2 times.
I use a Xiaomi MI8.
Have you ever encountered this problem ?
Thanks
Best regards
