Change SELinux Mode to Permissive - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I have tried to find this for soo long so i can get Viper4Android working.
But the app SELinux Mode Changer does not work.
It always says Enforcing on Settings -> About.
Is there anyway to change it to permissive?
Thanks

Flash a custom kernel with SE Linux permissive.

SELinux - Enforced or Permissive on Stock Rooted?

So I'm running -
Unlocked Bootloader
Stock Rooted Rom (w/ Chainfire modified boot image)
Stock Kernel
TWRP
Xposed
Is SELinux in Enforcing Mode or Permissive Mode on my phone? How do I find out? And if I'm in Permissive, is there a way for me to change it to Enforcing?
Thanks!

You can check in Settings --> About Phone.
SELinux is in Enforcing mode by default, so unless you changed it, it will still be in Enforcing.

[Q] Android N beta - seLinux mode permissive results in safe mode reboot

Has anyone succesfully been able to change their selinux mode to permissive on N? I need it for apps like Viper4Android and Lucky Patcher, however when I try to change it either with SeLinux Mode changer or by using the terminal, my phone reboots into safe mode...

set selinux to enforcing

how can I set selinux to enforcing I have a custom kernel PhoeniX tried SELinux Mode changer but didn't work, I need it to use root switch so if the method is an app most likely it won't work I need a manual and permanent method if possible

Boot screen error: "Kernel is not SEAndroid enforcing"

Running a 900R4; CM14.1 Klteusc nightly 12-18; latest TWRP recovery.
Getting the aforementioned error when phone boots.
Everything boots and runs fine, but I'm a stickler for cleanliness and order. Anyone have a fix for this? I'm not experienced enough to go poking around with my kernel, I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem.
Thanks in advance, gurus!
to fix this U must change SELINUX mode from permissive to enforcing.
the enforcing is a security layer build to android OS,SELINUX ENFORCING must be disabled if you installed Viber4Android.
If you insttalled V4A Donot change SELINUX to enforcing, V4A needs it.
but if you donot install it you can change the SELINUX TO ENFORCING.
To change it, There is an app called SELINUX mode changer

I installed and ran, but the initial window had the "enforcing" option grayed out. I assume it's already enforcing, as the phone is working properly, I just want rid of the warning in case I decide to sell the phone.
Update: switched from stock Kernel to Boeffla Venom Kernel and the message is gone.

Wi-fi FIX for Android Pie

You need change SELinux to Permissive mode.
