[Q] Un-soft brick my s5 - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I was recently flashing a rom on my rooted Verizon S5 via Safestrap on one ROM slot. I flashed the rom then downloaded the 0A8 kernel. Upon bootup, the phone was stuck on a boot loop, but I can get into recovery and download mode. I have already tried to factory reset the phone via recovery and I have also tried to put on the stock kernel again. Both were unable to resolve the issue. I have a fulll nandroid backup so wiping anything would not be an issue, but is there any way to solve this problem?
Also, when the phone boots up, it stays on the S5 boot screen and you will hear the boot sound but it will remain at that screen for an infinite amount of time. Can anyone help?
Thanks!

Virgin Mobile S4 stuck on boot Logo HELP

I'm not sure why i can't get it working but i was flashing back to stock rom. I have the correct rom and everything flashes fine on odin. I am unable to reboot to recovery. it says its loading and goes to black screen, and tries to boot to OS again. I tried flashing twrp with odin and same thing. I flashed the stock rom multiple times and it just won't boot. I even used Kies to flash it to stock rom and it was successful however stuck at boot logo again. The one thing i didnt do was wipe data/cache etc before flashing to stock rom but every tutorial i seen doesnt state to do it before the flash anyway. Has anyone ran into this problem before?
How are you able to get into download mode to flash rom but not be able to go into recovery? I had this issue once with my note 2 and went into recovery and wiped data and rebooted successfully....

Galaxy S4 i9515 Stuck in Bootloop After Flashing ROM

[Rooted][i9515] OS Problems?
I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy S4 i9515 and I tried to flash a mod in CWM. The main problem is that all my apps stopped working and the screen is black. I tried rebooting in recovery mode but is restarting and refuse to open in Recovery Mode. The only thing I can access is the Download mode, which is working fine (I hope).I did a Nandroid backup before flashing but now I can't access that neither. Anyone has an idea what happened and how to solve this?
Edit: I reflashed the stock firmware and now the phone works fine, I think the problem was a corrupted sistem file but now I lost the root access temporarily.

Samsung galaxy S5 SM-G900V 6.0.1 bootloop

Hi i tried to root my Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900V 6.0.1 but made a fatal mistake. I put kernel file for lollipop 5.0 in odin and now its stuck in an infinite bootloop. I tried factory data reset and wipe cache partition but it didnt work. Need help!
Hi. I did the same mistake like a week ago. and the only fix is installing android 6.0.1 again is the only sollution.
Use Odin to reflash kernel or stock rom. If you have twrp flash another rom.

Hi, I have a 900T. I don't know if I have the same problem. I have 6.0.1, and got the boot loop. I reflashed it off of rapidgator, and it worked, but after I powered the phone down, it is stuck in the loop again, and reflashing doesn't work. Well, it sort of works, but when it loads onto the phone after success with Odin, it says "erasin" half way through and goes back to loop. I am a noob, so I am not sure what kernel or stock rom or twrp are. Thanks!

I tried 5.0 and it does the same thing. Success on Odin, phone restarts and starts to load the firmware, then it stops in the middle and resets to the boot loop. Is my phone hard bricked?

Weird boot problem

I've had my note 4 for a little while now and I've been trying a lot of roms. Yesterday I tried flashing the flyme os 6 beta which I couldn't get to boot up. After that I flashed back the rom I was coming from and I noticed that twrp was unable to boot to recovery or system and went straight to stock recovery mode. When I manually started the rom up and tried to boot to twrp the screen went black for about a minute before booting into recovery. I've tried flashing back the factory images, reflashing twrp, different kernels, different BL and CP versions but nothing seems to work, I keep having this weird issue.
PS: I also can't turn it on when it's powered off. I have to remove the battery first before I can.
Has anyone else had this / knows how to get rid of this issue?
Better option is to try flashing stock firmware using odin download mode.
