How did you do that? I tried with Odin, but it says Leave CS... All threads Completed (Succeed 0/ failed 0)
That's strange
Did you wipe data and cache before downgrade
That important factor
Open odin do Not connect your device yet
Click AP box get your 4.4 rom wait for full load
Connect your device then start
I will post video later so watch very close

I did not wipe any of them. I just flash 4.4.4 with Odin. The result was some of the ext4 partition are different so the flashing wasn't successful. Download mode worked but recovery not. I flashed back 5.0.1. So the phone is working again, all of my personal data still on the phone.
You have to factory reset from recovery before downgrade

Extremely bad.
Bluetooth calls in my car don't work anymore (it worked fine in KitKat). Sound notifications aren't disabled at night (past my "nappy" time!).
Modem quality is horrible too. After every 2-3 calls I have to reboot the phone or the next call will be totally mute.
None of these problems existed before the 5.0.1 upgrade (which ran without a glitch by the way).
At this moment I am also downloading KitKat for my N910C, and I'll downgrade.

There are actually two reasons: 1) I think the X-note is the best custom rom out there and 2) i want xposed to work before I do the jump. xposed works great with my Note 2, but it is running CM lollipop.

Hello,
First I must say, that I'm not English native speaker, so sorry for any language mistakes.
I have a pretty serious problem with my Galaxy S4 LTE I9505. I downloaded the latest official ROM for my model (I9505XXUBMGA_I9505OXXBMG3_XEO) from SamMobile and I wanted to flash it via Odin 3.07 (previously I had CyanogenMod 10.2). But during the flashing process Odin give me "FAIL".
After that my phone was showing downloading screen with this information:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: GT-I9505
CURRENT BINARY: Sansung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Official
KNOX KERNEL LOCK: 0x0
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x1
CSB-CONFIG-LSB: 0x30
WRITE PROTECTION: Enable
SW. REV: CHECK FAIL: fused: 2, Binary: 1

Of course I was trying Emergency Recovery option in Kies, but it was failing all the time. I also was trying to flash it again, but Odin again shows me "FAIL" during the process. So I choose re-partition with PIT file and stock, branded ROM (I9505XXUAMDE_I9505PLSAMD8_I9505XXUAMDE_HOME). And it works, now I can boot my phone and original recovery without any problems, but unfortunatly I can't enable Wi-Fi module and any function that needs sounds just don't work (phone calling, system sounds, notifications etc.). Kies don't want to update my OS from stock, branded version to newest one (error while updating device). I also tried this on different PC, but it's always showing "FAIL" in Odin.
What should I do to get back to stock firmware? Right now I can only send text messanges and use internet via carrier data plan...

re flash your original updated firmware. let it boot up and then do a factory reset vol up-power and home. hope this helps
You can install the any stock rom that ends on H8
samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-I9505
You will not have root access anymore and are stucked with unremovable annoying system apps...
But thats the price to pay to have your phone back. I was phoneless for 3 days because of this. I'm happy to be still alive, but also wondering if live without root is worth it..

Yes you can, but it will probably fail on flash as most people who flashed XEO cannot flash it due to size error. Also there is no difference from NB3
Hi @radicalisto

I'm on NB3 Poland on a non rooted note 3. Originally it was a ITV CSC (Italian).
If I flash NB4 may I get a failed flash? Is there any fix around which grants me to not trigger knox or similar?
i think as long as you not rooted your phone , u can flash Samsung officials ROM without taking effect on KNOX. @radicalisto please correct me if i'm wrong

You may yes, you can try if it fails you can flash back to NB4 Polish again without any issues. - another method is to tick re-partition and/or use a PIT file, but if you aren't confident with stuff like that I would highly advise against it.

ART is not available to be selected on Samsung 4.4.2. And for sure is not default on 4.4.2. You are still on Dalvik.

I'm in the exact same situation as Mcee above. N900A (note 3 on ATT). I was rooted with the Kingo Root (I know people were saying it was risky and there might be some issues but I figured if I started noticing some issues I would put wipe and put a rooted ROM on). I wonder if this OTA update this morning pulled in some international update?!
Any info would be appreciated. I notice nothing other than the loss of Root. Seems like Mcee and I are the only ones with this firmware version so far...or who have posted about it at least.
I want to get Root back but I'm hesitant with the new version that it will not work. I'm willing to get back on MD5 or something but only if it's worth it. Maybe this is to prep for KitKat 4.4?
Looks like NB4 cuts down the frequency of diagnostics.client.Wakelocks and thus improving battery life.
It also looks like NB4 fixes the "free" tethering workaround with HotSpot Toggle Widget. I cannot get tethering with that or FoxFi.

So .,,,,any other way to flash safely DPT firmware on XEO firmware
update
I got the same update this morning and it did take away root...I tried rooting again with Kanga but it just loops and can't establish root. I just disconnected the usb cable and the phone is fine....I've become spoiled; life sucks without root!...the only "visual" signs that this update did anything is the change in the build number and a few system apps getting uptated (Playnewstand & Drive)....I had deleted them when rooted...this has got to be some sort of tuneup before the big kitkat upgrade.

Use a PIT file to re-partition during Odin flash - @HSD-Pilot has posted a PIT file on one of the threads here ( can't remember which) but it works fine :good:

The change list is the same, therefore no difference to NB3 - so if free tethering is fixed in NB4, it will be the same in NB3

By default it will not delete data using Mobile ODIN, But it's good to do hard reset if you upgrade to Lillipop.
For rooting Lillipop by keeping Knox 0x0 you can use MOP.
this method. Lollipop
If you are on N9005 download this ROM, for N900 download this ROM.

Hello Guys,
I'm a little bit disappointed with 6.0.1, because a huge battery drain and want to back on old 4.4.4. Indeed it is old, but work really fast and battery life is much better.
Unfortunately bootloader is locked and couldn't successfully flash via Odin KK 4.4.4 firmware.
Do anybody have idea is there a chance to do that?

you can not downgrade your phone to 5.0.1 and 4.4.4 ,samsung has put bootloader lock during COJ5
You can't go back to 4.4.4. You can only downgrade to 5.1.1 coj5.
