Hi
I have a weird wifi issue on my new Lg g2 D800 at&t unlocked version. as soon as my phone connects to any wifi within 2 sec it automatically disconnects and start searching and then try to reconnect again. this is a everlasting loop I have checked with 2 different wifi routers and also tried with wifi hotspot still having this issue. I have also tried CM11 and CloudyProII_2.3 still facing the same issue.
Is this a hardware issue How to fix it plz assist

Hi there, i've a galaxy s4 gt-i9505 since dec 2013 and i've been experiencing the wifi button stuck in dim green (wifi stuck with that activating ... Message and not working) and not working since ive bought it. It came originally with the android 4.3 stock rom. First i thought it could be a hardware problem but when i reset the phone to it factory settings wifi starts to work again. Ive noticed that if i stay with only one wifi network registred (the one i use to reconfig the phone during the first reset) the wifi works fine, but when i try to connect to a second wifi (any router) the problem arises and the only solution is to reset to factory settings again.
Ive read tons of people complaining about this problem but ive never heard of this second wifi netwrok issue... I dont know wether android loads a different config or modem driver for the first wifi network registred during the first boot but the problem only comes after i try to register a second one. Ive tried all wifi config like keep wifi on allways etc but nothing seems to solve the problem. Ive also tried the airplane toggle trick but didnt work. Ive tried other stock roms from other countries like germany dbt but always on android 4.3... Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

It certainly isn't the hardware, I got a replacement and the problem persists, which annoyed me cos all my photos cos messed up in order . anyway my wi-fi always disconnects and doesn't connect, this keeps on happening. im on a dual band router. is this only on 4.4.2? this problem only started happening in the last month or so. as far as i know it doesnt happen with other networks but when my wi-fi on my nexus drops, it doesn't drop with any thing else in the house. thank you
p.s. - i have a feeling it may be to do with something about the dual band. also the problem doesn't persist on my iphones, does this happen for you too?
was on paranoid android 4.2 beta with matr1x now on complete stock though

In your phone's Wifi settings, select either 5.0 Ghz or 2.4 Ghz and see if it helps. Also, try to search for Wifi fix by Kalo in the Development Thread and then flash it in recovery.
I have just bought a new yotaphone 2. It is ok, but the wifi works very very bad. I need to be very close to the router, 3-4 metres to work fine.
If I am more far than 3-4 metres, the yota connected and disconnected continuously. I have never had this problem with Samsungs phones or Moto g.
I have Yota YD201 with lollipop 5.0 HK1.1.66
Have somebody any problem with wifi?

No wifi problem here's, if i compare my yotaphone2 to the GS5 of my girlfriend, le wifi reception is about le same in the whole house

Me too having same issue. I'm thinking to flash the KK modem that solved the issue for CN lollipop.

using the 5.0.0-RU1.1.124.zip no problems so far- good WIFI everywhere, but i recognized that the initial connection after walking out of the WIFI coverage and back in takes a little time and sometimes i need to open the WIFI settings to force the connection

I had this problem. Downgrading to 4.4.3-S01-003-EU1.0.3.61a solved the issue. I used yotaflash to load the rom.
Same problem for me (Hong kong edition with EU 5.0), I have flashed the CH radio and there is no problem with the 3G-2G connection, but WIFI works very bad...
It connects well if you are near the router, but it desconnect when you go 6-10m away... Anyone could tell if there is possible to work it properly?

I just bought yotaphone 2. Wifi is okay in my apartment but not in my workplace. It seems so unresponsive when connecting to a certain wifi connection
Ayer flashing a ROM, wifi works perfect, but only until I use It with sim card. After that It Will never works fine again....

So Just wanted to know if you think the G6 is going to have the same stupid WiFi problem as my very recently departed G2, with it stuck "turning on" (yes I did see Nyansuki post about this exact problem). My G2 started doing it about 6 months ago and ended up being smashed today because I was sick of it :good:. granted my G2 did last 4 years of being thrashed but still...
I love the knock on feature LG has but if the WiFi is going to be stupid I'll go another brand because I use WiFi 90% of the time and I wont put up with it not working right.

Hmm ok, I wont be buying for another week anyway so I'll be keeping an eye on this to see what other people say.
I have the g5 and g6 neither have WiFi connection issues. My g3 had that issue though.

FWIW, no wifi issues on my LG G2, G3, G4, or my G6.

Already tried with my wifi at home and there is no issue..this morning i came to work,my lg g6 can already detecting the 2.4ghz wifi in here..maybe related to software,i alsi dont know..but im glad it resolved..thanks

This is strange..now my oneplus 3 cannot detect the 2.4ghz wifi..but,my g6 is ok..what is happening
I have problems with it connecting to open WiFi networks a lot. On the subway it wont connect at stations before the train take off. If I go to setting and actually click the network it will. Annoying.
Hi all,
I have been using oneplus 6t for two days. It has been performing strongly and i really love this phone.
However I am experiencing a weird issue that when you turn off wifi, the LTE connection seems to be off for a short period. After 3 mins ish it would connect to LTE just fine.
I have tried resetting the network setting but the problem still exists.
Anyone having the same problem ?
