So this is one of the new chinese flagship smartphones thats suposed to be pretty good.
i've read in many sites that this phone 3g support its only for the 2100 band, but as you might imagine, most of them are a copy paste of somewhere.
This guy in aliexpress has SS of the actual phone in engeniering mode where he claims as many other sellers (not the majority but many) that the phone does suport 850 mhz WCDMA, and the part that confuses me even more is that i can see in one of the SS that it also has the option of GSM on 850 mhz, but in the description part in the bottom ,it says it doesnt suport 2g in 850mhz? just in 3 other bands.

So as you can see from his post, the SS are original and made by his store personally he has all the signs and stuff suposdly proving those are boxes full of those phones ready for sell aswell as the SS of the phone itself.
Im interested in this because in live in south america now, and 2 of the main cellphone companies here use 850mhz as 2g and 3g bands, and its a great phone and i'd like to purchase it in the case it would be posible to use it here.
So any smart ppl that knows more about this subject than me, and can help me out a little more on this please?

Hey thanks for the response, but this doesnt really help me, i stated in my post that i already knew this, and that i have new information that saays the oposite of what u are posting, with SS of one of many sellers that claim diferently to what you just posted.

thats what a sprint guy told me today at their store.. till the end of the year.. was really pump about the 4g signal.. ughhh ..

i work for sprint, and they havent told us **** about the end of the year. matter of fact they told us they were trying to pump it out next month along with the evo. google 4g and the words orlando tamp and daytona its already coming down.

He's right. People need to stop posting the same crap over and over again. The information is out there, and it was announced before that the area in question is getting 4G by Q4 2010. There is a search feature for a reason.
Everyone is so excited to get the EVO, alot of people are turning into forum Nazi's.

I just got an email today from the Evo Team about Sprints official update for the Evo 4g, has anyone got it yet. I'm not sure if I want to try it on one of my other phones. Anyone got any suggestions, will I be able to undo the update with the RUU I got, its the Supersonic 3.7......
Im trying to put up the links directly to it but Im still on noob status so Ive put spaces in them, so delete the spaces to get over to the sites

Emails are easy to block and ignore... the primary reason physical letters are effective in large enough numbers, is because the post office is obligated to deliver every single letter - and thousands of physical envelopes stuffed with letters will take up a -lot- of space in the office... emails, not so much...

Have you tried requesting it here yet? If not, try to. Also, I have talked to a forum mod, and he has also posted in another thread in this section that the US models will be at least getting their own Development section. They are trying to see if they need a full section for the US GS3's.

No problem, maybe closer to launch date they will make a decision and hopefully it's to give the US it's own dedicated forum and not just a section under the international one. Hopefully we can get a whole section and then split it up kinda like the Galaxy Nexus page. Either way, I am more worried at the moment of picking up one of these bad boys on release date from Costco!

Im not being ridiculous. I was commenting about your post saying that you dont care about US carriers. If a carrier releases a rom first we can more than likely find whats new and whether we need to bother waiting for the official update or whether we can call the latest leak MJ5 official.
And he didnt take a photo of his screen. He took the image from the site I posted a link to or similar.
Im not saying it was worth a thread being created, 1 is too many "cant wait for or 4.3 is coming soon" threads.

In the last week there have been A LOT of these threads being created. From "Someone tell me what to buy??!!!//..." to the crop of 4.3/4.4 threads that say absolutely nothing new, to the people creating Q and A threads in the General section or Rom comparison threads just for no reason.
I tried the new 4.3 Touchwiz ROM but I still think it's too bloated and it it became slow and unstable on my device.
I am now using Omni and that's really stable, fast and smooth
