Hello
On my Galaxy Note 4( SM-N910F) Portugal, with the original Rom, rooted the applications that are linked to my Google Account (ex. Gmail, Play Store, Facebook, Youtube, etc...), fail to synchronize when i´m connected to the network bi WIFI, all they give connection error. When i turn the mobile data on, already syncronize all.
Note that when i am connected by WIFI, i can access internet normally through the browser (chrome).
Can anyone help me solve the situation ?
Thnak you very much
Hello
If it helps, i was trying to sim unlock my Note 4, and i tried the method * # 197328640 # and * # 0011 #, which I found on the net (both without results) and it was from there that appeared the problem with the wifi.
Thank you

Hi,
i have a problem with the Live Services on my Xperia (Vodafone branding, Germany). Even if WLAN is active and I have no problems in going online with Opera or IE, Live Services (Messenger, Live Search etc.) still want to connect over GPRS.
I tried to set up a default internet profile, only using WLAN for every program in the network manager but Live Services don't care. They automatically activate data connection if it is set to off.
I read about a workaround for this issue in this forum (but for different devices), which said to cancel the GPRS connection as it tries to connect, while WLAN is active; but this workaround doesn't work. In this case I get an error message that the connection did not success.
The interesting issue is that most of the XPeria users obviously have the opposite problem, that they cannot open up a connection via GPRS for Live Services...
Has anybody a suggestion, about getting Live Services online via WLAN?
Thanks for any help..

.. i just figured out that, also windows update function wants to use GPRS, eventhough I'm connected to my wireless LAN..
I have the same ******* thing. Here how I work around it
1) terminate Messaging
2) close Data connection (gprs/edge)
3) start wifi
4) Start -> Programs -> Windows Live (shortcut)
5) Synchronize from Windows Live Panel
thanx for the rapid answer. I'll give it a try. But I'm pretty sure this will not work in my case; I think, I do follow these steps in general. Data connections are always off, and Messaging is only active if I really write an SMS.
The steps 3-5 are also the usual way when I try to connect with Live Messenger.
Nevertheless I will take care of them and try..
double postet the message

hi,
I just tried the workaround. But as I clicked synchronize from Windows Live Panel, this also turned GPRS on and tried to connect. Cancelling the GPRS connection led to an error message, which told me, I should make it sure, that data connection tarif is supported by my provider..
I keep getting this message despite turning on wifi, gprs... what should I do?
Windows Live was unable to establish an Internet Connection. Please check your Internet settings and make sure that you have access to data services under your billing plan. If you need help, please contact your mobile service provider.
the vodafone support hotline says, Messenger can only run in 3G mode. So the problem is officially a vodafone branding problem.
Does anybody know any chance to get rid of the built in programs without flashing the rom?
I got the same problem. And I used another ROM. Messenger can be available via WIFI.
@benny
which rom version did you use? did you flash it yourself?

incase anyone hadnt found that.
works for me! (UK, Xperia & Vodafone branded)
good luck.
use the no data cab
Hi Everyone,
I flashed to the latest version of 3VOLUTION. After flashing everything works (Phone Calls, Text Messaging, etc). I am unable to access the internet through Wi-Fi. It connects to the router successfully but nothing displays on the program. I tried Opera Mini, Internet Explorer and SkiFire and nothing happens.
Any Tips?
Operator & Wifi settings, etc.
Not sure which 3VO rom you are referring to ?
Had you check out all the operator settings (gprs, proxy) and see if it might have been reset, clear or deleted, etc.
Is the wifi power setting correct - i.e. auto power off from beng inactive ?
For a specific hotspot, is the network type correct under wifi connection ?
Username & password correct - any typos? Clear them all & re-enter them ?
Under IE, go to Menu/Tools/Options/Connection - are they correct for Auto detect settings & Select network ?
Hi,
THanks for taking the time to reply.
It was not really a problem. I just had No Internet Connection at that time and therefore nothing displayed.
THIS HAS BEEN RESOLVED

Hi
I just bought a new asus transformer but I cant use my google account on it. when I try to add a new accoutn it says "Can't establish a reliable connection to the server"
Please help!
Thanks
1. You made sure WiFi is turned on, right? Just thought I would ask in case you missed it, there are some who might miss an obvious thing like that .
2. Do you have 2-factor authentication enabled for your Google account? If so you'll need to create a one-time password to login with instead of your regular password.
Hi
We have the same devices
I have tried doing that but I need google authenticator on the tablet and I cant download it from the market because I cant login
Am I missing something?
Thanks
OK
I managed to turn on 2 step verification and generate a password but when i try to add my account using that password it still does not work...
on my samsung galaxy s it took 2 seconds to authenticate...
What version of Honeycomb are you running? Perhaps updating to the latest version might help if you don't already have it? Also have you made sure you're close enough to your router to get a decent signal? Have you got any kind of internet access via WiFi at all on your TF (try opening a web page)? If not it might be a problem with the TF's WiFi, or you could just try again later in case it's a Google issue. Also when you said your SGS connected in just a couple of seconds was it connected to the same WiFi network as the TF, or did it connect over your mobile signal?
[EDIT]: Did you tweak the WiFi network settings on your TF at all? You didn't try to set a manual IP address, did you?
Hi all,
I'll come straight out with it, I have an issue I'm finding hard to debug and was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what to do next.
I'm using a Nexus 4 with android 4.2.2 (JDQ39) and Kernal 3.4.0-perf-g7ce11cd
The issue occurs via my home WIFI connection only.
Downloading apps on google play store results in package invalid.
Sync with Google Currents gives the vague error "An error has occurred, please try again"
Browsing seems largely unaffected, there is definitely an internet connection to the phone
*However*
When connected via 3G or when connected to works wifi none of the above occurs.
Both work & home wifi use the same technology, Apple Time capsules hooked up to broadband modems.
I also have a nexus 7, running 4.2.2 and this works fine on the same home wifi.
My previous phone running 4.1 also worked using this same home wifi connection.
After hunting around I have tried the following
* Removing data & cache from google play store
* Removing data & cache from google play services
* Removing data & cache from google services framework
* Giving my phone a nickname on google play
* Factory reset
* Removing and readding my google account
* Opening up gtalk before and after removing my google account
* Open WIFI with a simple 1 word network name
* Asking it politely to just work with my home wifi
Does anyone have any ideas? or even just some comforting words would be nice :crying:
Thanks
Rob
I would flash a custom rom
Hi,
I received my LeEco a week ago and everything is working perfect, except the wifi networks that required login online (by website). I click to connect the network and afterwards it already appears "problem in the authentification" without the possibility to open a navigator or anything to write my username.
Thank you in advance and kind regards
