[Q] Changing to "Interactive" governor causes restart - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

When I got my LG G2 and had used it for a little while, I noticed some lag and so I researched it. Found out that the interactive governor might help. Rooted the phone, proceeded to install trickster mod and changed the governor to interactive. Actually did help!
But for some reason changed governor back to ondemand and now every time I change it to interactive, the phone just restarts and returns to ondemand. I don't reboot it manually. It freezes and restarts.
Anyone else facing the same issue? Anyone know what's going on? Tried installing busybox on rails to make sure everything was okay. Did have Xposed installed before so maybe there was a conflict with that? I wiped everything using the stock recovery and tried it again but didn't take even then.
Need help. Hate the lag

Install dorimanx kernel and forget about lag

CPU Settings are Resetting

Title says it. Flashed the Trinity kernel today and the settings won't stick. The governor does, but every time I turn the screen off and back on, the max frequency is reset. I am running CM10.
So. Two questions.
1) Has anyone had a similar problem? Can this be fixed?
2) If not, can I go back to the stock kernel? Or, will restoring a Nandroid backup work? I made one just today so it wouldn't be a big deal, just want to know if it works.
Thank you
Edit: I ditched Trinity and flashed the Motley kernel instead. Settings are sticking. Problem solved!

Aurora lagging as hell. Need help.

From some point Aurora started to just freeze when even slightly used, so I was made to do a backup and rollback to stock B138 because I needed my phone working right at that moment. Neither factory reset nor installing of 4.1u1a helped, also tried to delete all the tweaks I had (some init.d and build.prop tweaks available on this forum) and it didn't helped too. Now I have some spare time and want to deal with this issue. So can anybody share the experience of speeding up Aurora? I think the problem is in some tweaks I had.

Check your CPU freq.
If aurora restarts it goes with 245Mhz min.
My CPU freqs were 768/1600 ondemand - can it be the source of the problem?

N7 stuck on 600-700 mhz (all kernels)

Hey all,
I'm on 4.4.2 stock with Xposed (gravity box).
Using Trickster mod and have tried both M-Kernel (latest) and Faux kernel (latest).
With both, after using the tablet for 1-2 days, the max frequency seems to be stuck on 666mhz (for M-Kernel) and 700mhz (for Faux). I have to manually make it 1.2ghz and apply. Turning screen off/on doesn't fix the problem either. I've tried to remove trickster/clear data but same results. I think it's the same with other kernel manager apps too.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? It's quite annoying

[Q] NOOB question

Please, forgive me if this isn't the right place to post this question, I just find the whole forum a little complicated for me to understand (obviously, I'm not a very intelligent person, not even intelligent).
So the thing is a video on YouTube about overclocking the Samsung Galaxy S4 up to 2.3 GHz and I flashed this kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2294083
And I had Rom Toolbox and the app KTweaker (the app that came with the kernel) to set the CPU and when I used KTweaker to do so it worked perfectly but when I used ROM toolbox to edit the values my device rebooted, even the smallest change with Rom Toolbox made my phone reboot. I used to edit the CPU with Rom Toolbox before flashing this kernel so I don't think it's the problem.
After that, I wiped cache, data and dalvik and installed No-frills CPU Control but when I overclock my phone with it and I go to KTweaker app to check if both have the same values and the apps tell me different things
Also I noticed that, before wiping, I could go from 1890 GHz to 2300 with no trouble both max and min. After wiping, if I do that, my phone reboots.
Do you think you can help me? At this moment I don't know if my phone is overclocked or not.
Also I editted the GPU. Mainly because of hard gaming.
So what model do you have?
The kernel you flashed is for the Verizon version of the s4. You can't flash a kernel for another phone onto yours.

CM 12.1 - Freeze and Reboot

Hello, I flashed CM 12.1 and sometimes the system hangs and reboots, the phone is rather in good condition and it was stable on stock. Any ideas?
Model: SM G900F
CM: Latest Version - Not Nightly
Try changing the kernel gouvernor to interactive. If its on interactive try ondemand or else. If these tips don't help, try underclocking your phone or try to change the kernel.
Never done that is it noob-proof?
Okay, I have changed it to ondemand from interactive.
Mine reboots even if nothing is being touched I wiped and re-flashed and same issue, gonna check and wait for the results of governor change.
Update : rebooted after few minutes of changing.

Get a logcat of the reboot.

Changing kernel governor to performance seemed to do the trick I will make a catlog in case of a reboot.
Update: The phone rebooted on it's own again.
Here's the logcat I ran.

So If I have logcat running and the mobile will reboot will the information be saved ?

If you're doing it over adb from another computer/device yes it will. Through catlog on the phone I'm not too sure

I do not know if I performed it properly I ran adb catlog -v long than saved to file and uploaded, I do not know if you want me to keep it running until it reboots but gonna post that log anyway. If it doesn't have any good information I will run catlog overnight until it reboots. I've tried ondemand CPU governor and performance on ondemand I've got 5-6 screen freeze then reboot and the phone was taking a long time to boot so I took out the battery and it booted normally.
I'm thinking about dropping CM 12.1 and swappin' to Ressurection ROM to check if it will work possibly ?
Update: Same issue as CM 12.1 rebooting as well so it's not the issue of a ROM. Any suggestions ?

Installed this kernel but boot loop.
Update : Installed http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...ar-googy-max4-kernel-1-0-tw5-linux-3-t3048773 and it runs fine but the phone also restarted I noticed it must be an over-heating issue because when I install a rom the phone is warm and reboots.
I fixed the issue by downloading Googy's kernel and changing the maximum freq to 2.3Ghz, I am not sure what was happening but it seems that the kernel was forcing a setting that my phone did not like on the CPU and after changing the CPU freq to it's maximum as the specification of the CPU shows stopped the phone from rebooting.
Update: Also the phone rebooted once again when I set the CPU Governor from Interactive to SmartMax then back to Interactive and no reboots.
