I tried to install the Xposed Torch from Playstore, but the Framework isn't compatible with my Android SDK version 21 or my processor architecture (armeabi-v7a). Is this a problem with my phone or is it simply not updated for Lollipop?

As far as I know, Xposed hasn't been updated to work with Lollipop due to the runtime switching from Dalvik to ART.

I know there's a lot of work behind these ROMs, especially after a major upgrade like Lollipop. I'm just so excited to take the new stuff for a spin!

The third post is about it
So I stayed away from Lollipop due to silent mode being gone. Finally updated and sure enough hate the sounds modes. I saw there was an exposed module to bring back KitKat silent mode.
Been doing tons of research on this forum and other websites and can't find a clear answer. Does exposed work on the Verizon S5 on Lollipop?
Some sites say at first it didn't but it was then updated..then other sites say even the update won't work on touchwiz ROMS? Idk if that just means stock VZW ROMS or even custom touchwiz ROMS?? Very confusing
If anyone knows please let me know. Also if it WILL work are there instructions for this phone specifically. Any Xposed instructions I find mention booting to a customer recovery...and then I remembered hearing that safestrap doesn't work on Lollipop so idk

I've done many clean install of kitkat previously.. Every time I switch roms so I know my phone is always running the best it can. Did the same when installing lollipop last night..full charge over night and man is this battery life bad compared to kit kat..didn't use my phone much this morning and just used it for an hour or so now and I'm at 60%

Xposed afaik currently unofficially works with certain deodexed touchwiz roms
i'm using this version of xposed and it works fine. You do need to use FlashFire to flash the zip though give it a try just install the app then flash the zip.

Yes. Samsung has done some of their own tinkering with ART on lollipop which makes Xposed cause a bootloop. The unofficial version only works on Deodexed versions.
@aholeinthewor1d
If you want to use Xposed on TW Lollipop, you can use this ROM. Then you can go here to install Xposed.
Also, Safestrap DOES work on Lollipop, you just have to use a KitKat kernel to access it. This app/thread makes accessing Safestrap on Lollipop extremely easy. No need for a computer.
Just rooted and setup safestrap and busy box on my S5 running 5.0 OK3 ROM
every 20 minutes this nasty notification pops up and tells me to reboot the phone.
what do i do to get rid of this ?
, download as system app remover app from Google Play and uninstall Knox and security log agent then reboot

man it really sucks having the CID11-Toshiba chip this S5 device has no custom roms, no xpose framework, no bootloader... just stock rom with only root access.
whats the point of having root access if i can't even flash a custom rom or use frameworks like xpose. someone screwed up somewhere bigtime lol this will be my first and last samsung handset ever.
alright thanks again man. wish me luck on my next phone in the next generation lol

Read through the thread it allows you to install touchwiz based roms on locked bootloaders but again no root
you can flash zips with this method using safestrap to the Rom you install you can debloat and add Hotspot functionality and deknox
no custom kernels or bl unlock though
Page 1 is for method

Same here
I have Galaxy tab A (SM-T355) 8' 16 GB with rooted stock rom (touchwiz Android 6.0). I want to flash xposed framework. Obviously I installed an unofficial xposed on XDA used for rooted stock touchwiz.
I flashed that and my tablet ended up bootlooping to recovery. Tried to use the nanobackup and it didint work, wiped out the whole system and restored back and still didnt work.
I had no choice but to restore stock firmware and re-root the device.
Is there any framework that wont cause bootloops and support this device? Or prehaps do I need to modify my system?
Thanks.

Did you use arter97's xposed? https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3113463 I believe there is another framework for touchwiz as well.

Have you tried wanam's framework as well? https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3180960
Supports marshmallow, and it works on my galaxy a8 2015.
