[Q] How to disable wireless charging and battery full notifications on Lollipop - Verizon Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Has anyone found a way to disable the annoying wireless battery notification or the battery full notification? It is really annoying if you are in a car using a wireless charger and run an app that keeps the screen turned on. For example, if the screen is on when you place the phone on the charger, the charging notification will appear and never go away. The same thing happens when you are driving along and the battery reaches 100%. The notification is stuck on the screen until you turn off the screen and then turn it back on. Is there a better way to avoid this?

[Q] Won't dock/daydream while on official charging orb

I have a 8gb nexus 4 and I absolutely love the thing, today my Official from the play store charging orb came in. It works great as a charger but refuses to be a dock.
When I put the device down it makes its little docking noise but daydream does not turn on and the screen goes dark. Daydream is turned on and is set to only enable when docked.
If I enable daydream for just general purpose charging then it kicks on automatically like you would expect. However not when its set to turn on when on a dock.
Also is there anyway to make the phone automatically not vibrate while on the charging orb, it tends to slide off.
Thanks!
The orb is recognised as a charger and not a dock. Thats why it wont work when you set it as dock.

Wireless charging screen on

I've been trying to find a way to disable "screen on" and vibration when putting the phone on the charging pad, and when the battery is full. The worst part is when the battery is full and the screen turns on - lights up the whole room in the middle of the night (then keeps turning on and off until I remove it från the charging pad). Has anyone found a way, app, or combination of settings that can disable all vibrations, sounds and screen ons caused på wireless charging, on stock-based ROMs? Can't use AOSP anymore for various reasons, there everything could be turned off easily.

[Q] Disable Battery Charged Notification

Is there any way to disable this notification? I have my phone wirelessly charging on a Tylt Vu charger overnight. This notification is annoying because it turns on the screen, thus lighting up my entire room. I'd like to stop that.
If rooted, you can disable it in the Lockscreen section of Wanam Xposed.

Disable LED when using 6P as desk clock

I want to use my 6P as a desk clock and want to turn off the LED completely during this time.
Tasker doesn't seem to work; Audio -> Notification light -> off doesn't seem to do anything, and I don't see another setting.
I played a little bit with Light Flow but don't see how to tell it to turn off the LED when my phone is either in Daydream or Dock Clock Plus; I don't see the apps listed. I tried setting LED to off with Timely but nothing happened.
Is it possible to do this at all with the Nexus 6P, without having to manually go into Settings and turn it off every morning and night?

Always On Display Setting

I had turned on the always on display shortly after setting up my new G6, and then a few days later I turned it off. However the setting keeps turning itself back on, usually overnight. I had turned it off yesterday, but woke up this morning to the display being on, and the setting set to on.
Starting to think I have a gremlin messing with me.
Go into your AOD settings and verify you didn't accidentally set up something the revolves around the time for your AOD to come on. See attached screenshot
Good call. I checked the "Daily timeout" and it was setup.
Turned it off and we will see if that stops it from turning back on in the morning.
I love the AOD. I was using the digital clock, but then changed to the analog clock. I like watching the red second hand. I also use the screen saver when wireless charging, although I feel more thought could have been put into it. The screensaver seems half baked to me, but it works.

How goes battery drain with this turned on?
I don't notice anything adverse.

I don't wanna start a new thread. But can you in any way customize the AOD? I don't need the battery icon shown there as it distracts a little from notifications. Any way to turn notifications and icons on/off?
And did you guys notice any serious battery drain when turning AOD bright instead of normal mode?
Whats the brightness selection, is it the overall brightness of the AOD? I think from default it's reasonable
