[Q] Best sensor apps for flip and smart cover

I can't choose the correct forum for this topic, may be mod will help me because this topic content about the apps that support smart cover.
I've bought Nillkin Fresh cover, it's working perfect and I'm love it. Like another cheap smart (flip) cover, we need a apps use proximitiy sensor to turn off and turn on screen after it's opened or closed. I've installed some apps from Play Store but it's drain battery too fast.
With SmartCover (by ThinkIDEA) it's draining 6-8% per night (about 6 hours of sleeping)
With IntelliCover it's draining 7% of batter after 6 hours of sleeping.
Currently I'm using CM 10.1 RC2 with Franco kernel r142, I check it via battery usage screen
Are you found the best apps can control sensor for flip cover like Nillkin Fresh? Let's sharing :fingers-crossed:
No one using flip cover?

I'm using this rom: forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/development/rom-galaxy-s5-stock-rom-final-fast-clean-t2888215
Can I suggest you get 'greenify' from Xposed.
Then use greenify to freeze all background tasks.
Perhaps there is something running while your phone is awake, just a suggestion. Probably not your battery if you get a good life when the screen is off.
Are you using any custom kernel, in case of increased voltage or high frequencies or an aggressive governor.
I use the kernel from omega v23. Can i find the default kernel from note III to flash to my rom?
Thanks

on me too.. if i play a game for a example battery drain so fast..i use stock rom for n900k .. but i have a question..i have a s4 charger 5v/1A and battery discarge if i play..or look on phone..internet etc.. i need a 2A charger? ..
as i can see android "android system " drains a lot of battery .... so if you are rooted you can you app master ( i have used it its a very nice app ) unistall some google apps you dont need or you dont use that much ( you can replace them with similar apps from the market ) also use greenify and any other app that can "clear" your ram i also use gsam battery monitor to check how much battery my phone drains in 1 hour

[Q] Is there a way to deactivate my heart rate sensor?

Hey, so since I updated to lollipop, my heart rate sensor now activates every time I put my finger over it. I don't ever use the sensor, but I'm sure it drains some battery life. Is there a way to disable it so this doesn't happen? Is there an app I can disable or a setting I can change? Thanks!
My phone is not rooted.

Root and remove shealth
The way to stop it not lighting up when you put your finger on it is to factory reset your phone. This is what worked for me, but there might be an easier way.

I disabled SHealth in the App Manager and it seems to have stopped.
Rooting is unfortunately not an option, or I would definitely do that.
After switching to lollipop I had to factory reset it since I had issues with Google play services. I would rather not have to do that again if I can avoid it.
I have S Health disabled, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.
Any other ideas?

Download CPU-Z application from the Play Store and swipe left to the battery tab. You may also download Qualcomm Trepn to monitor your battery charging rates and battery life as well. Hope it helped!
This is how much power i get from charging my phone through AC and a powerbank!

In the ac i get -300mA

Try Ampere, maybe its an app problem. Tested Ampere and works pretty well. Here is the link.

Use of barometer in Nexus 6P

Not sure if this has been asked earlier in this forum. How are you using the barometer? I mean to say any particular apps that can make full use of the barometer and how do they work?
Sent from my Nexus 6P using XDA-Developers mobile app
Google Play Services uses the barometer to calculate altitude, which can then be used in conjunction with GPS for faster locks and better accuracy.
