I just downloaded a "wireless update" for the Studio 5.0c HD and tried to install it, the installation was going fine but then, when I checked the phone, a "no command" sign appears (with the android robot laying down with a ! inside a red triangle), when I press the power button the usual recovery options appears (reboot system, apply update, wipe data, etc etc) so when I try to select any, again appears the "no command" sign. I can't select any option, so I can't do a factory reset. I don't know if the phone its bricked or anything. I don't know what to do. I would really appreciate any help. Thanks!

hi there...
just installed CM7 this weekend. worked fine for 2 days
After restarting the ms2, it got stuck in a bootloop.
I can flash a sbf with rsd lite from, finishes OK, but when it says, rebooting, well...
it still stuck in a bootloop.
In recovery mode, i can do a cache wipe and factory reset. But there is a error message at the bottom, telling:
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/command
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/caller
Could I successfully flash with RSDlite from Linux? which version?
Is there a way to restore the ms2 from dev console?
Thanks a lot
Do you test to Wipe Data with stock moto recovery ?
Here step 7 to 11
I think your request must be on "General" section
I suspected it might be related the CyanogenMod intstall. But move to "general" if necessary
Have done steps 7 - 11
but still ms2 bootloops
OMG - if broke it - my wife kills me
I hope your wife don't kill you LOL
See this thread and particulary this with r2beta0 tips:

I have do this (all step 1 to 11 because "boot up the phone manually" ) with the sbf 2.2.2 officiel but modify whith this post :

I don't know if this is going to help, but you could try that anyway:
- Download MotoAndroidDepacker (utility to unpack/repack SBF's)
- Choose one stock SBF (2.2 FR for example)
- Open and unpack it with the utility
- Rename CG66.smg to CG37.smg (you are going to use preinstall image as data image, both are ext3, but has different sizes. Don't know if it's going to work).
- Use utility to open folder with unpacked images and repack it
- Put phone in bootloader mode and flash the repacked SBF (rebuilt/firmware.sbf)
- Post results here

I did exactly the same, as in the other thread.
And thank god, my ms2 booted up
So everything seems fine for now und no one should get killed
Many Thanks!
Nice for you
Moved to proper forum.
Hi all, Emiliano from Italy. I firstly wanted to thank you all for your support.
Even being my first post here, I've been following you since some time.
My problem looks exactly the same: bootloop... bootloop... bootloop.
No matter how many I tried flashing back the original ROM for my M2 (SBF file always worked before!!! so I'm sure is the correct one for my smartphone).
I tried also the procedure with depacking described above with no progresses.
Anyway I already had noticed that after renaming cg66 to cg37, depacker wasn't able to see it in the list of cgs before repacking, so that final fbs was 300MB less.
Something wrong I made? (tried on 2 pcs with Vista Home and Business)
Unluckily I cannot even try to wipe data because I cannot enter in recovery mode (On + X -> Android robot with mark -> but nothing happens after pressing magnifying lens or any other key).
Could someone, please, help me before using my bricked M2 for building a new house?

Hi Amir4Life,
thanks for reply and for your suggestion.
Unluckily I cannot access recovery mode.
All I get when pressing X is the green robot with Exclamation mark, but no matter which key I press after, it gets stuck at that point (so that I'm bound to take away battery to turn smartphone off) and cannot access or see any menu to operate wipe.
Tried also reflashing other roms through rds lite (bootloader works efficiently) or through ubuntu live cd "sbf_flash system", but the only fsb that always worked for me turns out to be a bootloop when rebooting.
Unluckily nothing seems to help me in this situation, so far.
It's still a bootlpop and no access to recovery mode.
Thanks anyway for your help and happy and special new year to you all!
At the 'exclamation sign + green android guy' screen, you have to press 'vol up + vol down' together.
Now you will get the options like 'wipe data' etc. etc. Scroll through options using vol up or vol down and select using power button.

Thanks Sahilarora,
If I had read you before I would have saved a lot of time trying all possibile combinations of keys on the keboards (since magnifying glasses didn't work)!!
Then just by chance I discovered myself volume up + down while pressing chaotically all buttons and it worked to my best suprise, showing me finally the belated list of options, together with blessed wipe data factory
Since yesterday evening my Milestone 2 is wonderfully working again, as fresh as a daisy!
Thank you so much for your contribution, hoping it could help also Amir4Life and oll pthers in a similar situation.
Happy new year (started in the best way).
Glad for you, I was about to tell to do what sahilarora911 told ya,
I expect i m the only one who stays with brick'd phone... my luck.

Could explain in details which is your problem, and which methods have you already tried to solve it?
If not me, maybe someone else could help you.
Hi Emiliano! It seems to be that we share the same problem. Did you found a fix to it? Thanks!

I'm having this issue too
Just last night I FINALLY rooted my phone. An hour or so later, I installed Beats Audio Installer Root v.2.3.2.1 AdFree_Released by HPR.apk. I had already done Titanium Backup before trying to install this. I ok'd the reboot, and have been watching a bootloop ever since. I can go into recovery, and bootloader. I have already tried to wipe cache, and a factory reset...with no luck. I don't know how to get to my backup I made, and I'm out of ideas.

go to recovery mode and wipe data... nor the best to cleanup with flashing one more time with the fresh room.
This beats Audio Installer seems a spam application, mine using Player Pro for a nice and clear audio player.

How to unbrick Motorola Defy XT535
Hello android geeks,
Please help me
Scenario
1. i was using chinese ics rom in my defy xt535. due to more problems with that rom, i flashed with Gingerbread rom. But i forge to wipe partition data before flashing . so i was unable to pass beyond red m logo
2. when i tried to enter recovery menu. i got a blank screen with green android with yellow exclamation mark within white triangle
3. again i flashed with chinese ics , again without clearing partition data (because i am not able to access recovery mode). now i am able to enter android , But touch screen is not working
What I have tried
1. I tried erasing phone data using Wondershare mobile transfer, but i failed as it is possible only if I enable USB debugging. sadly i cannot enable usb debugging as my touch screen is not working
Advantages
1. I can access bootloader (white screen) by pressing power button and up button
2. I can able to pass beyond moto logo, which is a good sign that the phone can be saved
Disadvantages
1. Unable to enter recovery mode (Yellow exclamation mark)
2. Touch screen is NOT working, so not able to enable usb debugging
Doubts
1. How to check whether my touch screen problem is software oriented or hardware oriented?
2. What is the method to completely erase phone data without entering recovery mode, no root, and without touch screen functionality?
3. Is there any way to install recovery menu without root function and without touch screen function?
4. My idea is to completely erase all the phone data and flashing it with gingerbread rom? Is it right or is there any other alternatives?
Things I have
1. Bricked Defy XT535
2. Laptop and PC with windows 7
3. USB cable
4. RSD Lite
5. SUTLR
6. Patch files to root Defy XT535
7. Chinese ICS ROM
8. Gingerbread ROM
9. Wondershare Mobile transfer
If you feel i have missed few details, please notify me
I am one among the few indian XT535ians, please help me to save the rugged device

My son's Galaxy S4 has recently quit working and the following is what shows up on his screen along with a little robot icon with an open door that say's "No Command" under it.
Android system recovery<3e>
KTU84P.I337UCUFNJ4
Volume up/down to move highlight;
power button to select.
reboot system now
apply update from ADB
apply update from external storage
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
apply update from cache
My son say's he has tried each of these items and has had no luck. At the bottom of the screen is the following message,
# Manual Mode #
--Appling Multi-CSC...
Applied the CSC-code : ATT
Successfully applied multi-CSC
Neither of us are tech types and are stumped by this. Please give some detailed directions to help a Grandpa help his son.
Use the volume up and down keys and scroll down to data factory reset and use the power button to select it then after it completes scroll down to wipe cache partition and use power key to select it after its done scroll up to reboot phone and use power key to select phone should restart and power on good luck
Well I followed the steps provided and it is just the same as when I started.
I tried it 3 times without luck.
Anyone know what else I might try?
If you can get the phone into download mode, hold volume down, home and power at the same time. You can use odin to flash the NB1 tar file in the AP slot on the new version of odin, PDA in older ones. You'll need the drivers for the phone which can be found on samsungs website. Info on how to do all that can be found here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-att/general/guide-odin-to-stock-updating-rooting-t2926642 Hope you can get it working again.
Thank you for the help, I am attempting to follow your instructions now. Just have a question that may sound really dumb.
Do I need to have a simcard in the phone to do this?
This type of Tech is not my area so I really dont know.
I never tried it without a sim card but it should still work. After odin installs the new firmware, it will reboot the phone and you'll set it up just like it was new. Just make sure to follow the instructions in the thread I linked to.
No Joy......
After trying multiple times in the last few hours I still have the same screen. I downloaded the latest drivers to my pc, downloaded and installed Odin on my pc. Changed usb cables and ports and still the same screen.
It wont boot up, I cant get it to download mode, I cant get it to do anything. I think this thing is a "brick" now.
Thanks for the help folks, I appreciate it.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all.
That sucks you couldn't get it to work. You can take it to a samsung service center if you have a best buy near you That has one. Maybe they can get it to work. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you to.
Hello guys!!
Please excuse me if this is the wrong place to ask my question
I got the blu studio X, I rooted usging "king root" or "root king" look like a chinnese product, the things is that all was OK. but wireless update came in and I hit update now, since there the phone it's rebooting and rebooting to the blu screen logo, I went to recovery mode, make the wipe data and wipe cache, factory reset and then reboot but it goes again to the blu logo screen.
Don't know what to do, it's there a stock room? what can I do?
Before updating your phone, you did not Unroot it. That is what you have to do. You need to go into Recovery, hold the Power button until it turns off, keep holding it, it might try to restart but keep holding it, when it shuts down and restarts then shut it down again, hold the volume buttons and hold power and let go of power once it turns on. Go in recovery and wipe, then re-install the ROM. You are going to have to find the ROM BLU_D750_V04_GENERICL on Google and flash it in recovery. That is the latest ROM.

Geez no thank you from OP? Well thanks! I decently acquired this phone and will keep that ROM on hand.
If you're interested
Idk if anyone still owns this device. But I managed to port a few ROMs to the BLU Studio X Plus.
The only problem is the front camera and autofocus.
Please reply if you are interested in testing these roms.
Hello, I have an Android device of which I do not know the brand and model (I will attach photos). The problem is as follows, after I installed the Waze application, the device wrote that there is no free disk space and restarted, from here to there it loads only until the inscription android. I've read all the reset articles and all sorts of combinations, but I'm having no success getting into recovery mod. Please someone help me. Thank you in advance!
At least someone tell me what the model is or where I can see it?
Hello, I solved my problem and if it can help someone, I will write how. If the moderators deem it unnecessary to delete the topic.
So the model is 8221l and entering recovery mode is done as follows:
1. you press the reset button
2. you immediately start pressing on the touch screen with 5 fingers, it should say "recovery mode"
3. if you did it right the display says "erasing" then it will say ANDROID again
4. wait for 2 minutes and power off the device
5. restore power and the device will boot back to 100%
6. if you want to update the firmware, do everything but with the difference that in point 2 you have to press with 4 fingers!!!
