Thanks for advance

No, still need disable signature check by superuser mod. Or just simply install whole Z3 system in this thread.

Unfortunately I couldn't root my device so I can't do it.
I tried also to install the app from that rom but it couldn't be installed

That Z3 based ROM is very buggy. It won't get LTE even after selecting the correct model number (D6503)
Any Idea on how to port? I already have a logcat.

For me lte is working :good: I have create times ago a rooted flashable zip(with everything select...included modem and kernel) with PRFCreator with 4.4.4 3.12 firmware. I had a another rom before, and when i install that previous rom , i install that 3.12 prerooted who i create , before that rom , to have kernel and modem from a 4.4.4 . i wipe data (from teamwinproject recovery with advance wipe...i select everything except internal, external and otg storage), and i install rom and lte works smootly i never had that problem with lte

You need to root your device of course and my phone don't want to get rooted -_-

[STOCK ROM] Xperia Z (C6603) 10.4.1.B.0.101 Rooted init.d & Dual Recovery

STOCK ROM Xperia Z (C6603) 10.4.1.B.0.101 Generic UA (Unbranded Ukraine)
Hi all, this is my first take at creating a flashable zip which I tested and found working on my Unlocked Bootloader Xperia Z (C6603)
Stock ROM uploaded by @smardu http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=50203976&postcount=68
Created using @[NUT]'s DIY Guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2307311 to create a flashable zip rooted with SuperSU, init.d & BusyBox built in with @[NUT]'s XZ Dual Recovery v 2.7.62
I have tested it on my Unlocked Bootloader Xperia Z (C6603) and found working. I have NOT tested on Locked Bootloader. If you are willing to try and let me know!
How I updated:
1. Make a nandroid backup just in case
2. Flash the flashable zip using PhilzTouch (only tested using PhilzTouch Recovery) - I am not sure if it will work on other recoveries
3. Once completed, do not restart your phone, power off the phone instead
4. Connect in Flashmode and Flash the Kernel
5. Reboot and once loaded into system, it should start showing Android is upgrading
I did not clear data or cache before flashing and so far it is working fine with me.
I have also included links to @[NUT]'s latest XZ Dual Recovery v 2.7.85-BETA.flashable as well as the working Xposed Installer Framework for 4.3.

I got a weird issue after flashing this rom..when my phone booted up for 1st time i got this repair icon in my screen, with the loading blue bar on the bottom (1st time i see this on my phone)...after a few minutes it booted up normally, but the only issue i got is that i cannot install any app through my file explorer...only through playstore..when i try to install one app through es explorer eg. i get "sorry,no application error".
Also, xposed framework has issues too..i can view my mods and they are applied to my phone, but when i try to update those who need update, xposed is crashing...so i can only use mods that are already installed through my previous rom.
Anyone has any idea what i did or what maybe went wrong?

What ROM were you previously on? Was it Odexed or Deodexed? And did you wipe data/cache/dalvik before flashing or did you dirty flash? Might work if you do a clean install.
OK, i just figured out my mistake...
I did everything from scratch and everything works flawless now..so i can confirm it is working on a locked bootloader..
So for your interest if someone does the same mistake as i did, just when flashing the kernel .ftf don't exclude anything..that caused my issues i think

I was on 4.3 odexed NCB stock, prerooted. I wiped only cache and dalvik before flashing. I messed up my system by trying another flashable rom that failed during flashing, and then i tried this method, zipped flashed fine, but i unchecked everything except kernel when flashing the .tft. Although i reflashed for 2nd time in a row the .tft, system still messed up. So i did everything from the beginning and now it works fine...
Glad i didn't had to wipe my data in the end...
Thanks for this rom/guide
Silly question, I have unlocked the bootloader, I'm using a stock rom with stock kernel, what I need to know is if after I flash the kernel.tft I need to follow the NUT's thread to install the dual recovery? it is already rooted? I'll do it today as soon as I get home so I just need to know that! :good:

No, dualrecovery is integrated in this rom. Also, busybox and supersu fixes are also included, so you only need to flash the rom and the .ftf kernel file.

D6653 user, had D6603 .690 Baltic firmware installed without problems. Just installed this .726 and I'm getting Inconsistent UIDs popup when Android loads up. Whats up with that, am I the only one getting it and how do I get rid of it?
EDIT: Fixed, had to enter recovery, Format Data then Factory reset then reinstall the firmware. Everything seems fine now.
EDIT2: It seems Bluetooth is not working. I can't connect my Moto 360 nor any other BT device.

As you already said. Fist of all you need root permission on your device. But because you already installed 5.1.1 via OTA I'm afraid your device is "locked down". If KingRoot isn't able to root 5.1.1, then there is no easy way to get root on your device. In this case you have to downgrade first via Flashtool. Or you could unlock your bootloader and flash a custom kernel which has twrp integrated. But keep in mind that you will loose your drm keys this way.
BTW: I wouldn't use KingRoot even if it is able to root your device, because I don't trust this app....
Thnx mate for your reply
OK I will downgrade my tablet to 5.0.2
But I need you plz to point where I get my previous Android
And if I flashed it with flashtool all my data will be gone?!
Then I will root my tablet again then flashed this stock in this thread, am I right?!
And btw, why you didn't trust kingroot app, it's working with my tablet just fine! ?

Try this FTF:
http://www.android-hilfe.de/thema/s...ny-xperia-tablet-z.457524/page-3#post-7918151
After that, use XZDR (TabZ-lockeddualrecovery2.8.21-RELEASE.installer.zip) from here:
http://nut.xperia-files.com/
Use Option 3 from Installer, which will use an root-exploit, that is still available in .230 Firmware.
In newer Firmwares this option isn't working anymore and you need to root by your own first.
And finally flash this PreRooted Image via TWRP or CWM

Depends on which Options you use to flash. If you exclude Data-Partition, then Data will be still there. But booting KitKat-Firmware with Lollipop-Data will not work or at least will screw up everything. So in the end you would need to wipe data anyway. (Be aware that flashing FTF including Data-Partition will also wipe internal storage / internal sdcard)

Well, there are mainly two things:
1. It needs a internet connection for rooting (who knows which data is send to them ...)
2. It isn't always providing a full working root, which is not very nice for devolpers and users, because their apps/packages maybe don't work properly...
Thank you Mcbane87
Well,I already downgraded my TabZ SGP321 and flashed kitkat 4.4.4 with build number 10.5.1.A.0.283 via flashtool like you said, even I got many failed steps at the beginning but I did it
Then I rooted my tablet using this thread :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-tablet-z/development/root-sp321-ftf-10-5-1-0-283-t2873377
So what to do next?! and I had another couple of questions please:
1- I am from Egypt so when looked into this firmware I didn't find Arabic language, is that Normal and how I get Arabic language
2- why I feel that kitkat is much better than lollipop and much easier and battery life is much better while I am playing my game with charger connected still battery going low slowly ?
Note: I am using root only to use Xmod for playing Clash Of Clans !
I flashed it, seemed all ok, but:
no root, no recovery? no SuperSu in my Apps, I failed to enter recovery. What did I do wrong? what to do now?

you must reflash a rooted Firm(like 230) with flashtool.
Starting enable debuging and install nuts recovery 2.870 with option 1.
Then reboot and hold volume down when the green light on and you are only in TRWP mode.
Flash the 5.1 from sd1 and all was good.

It's faster to flash .230 .ftf stock unrooted, install recovery with option 3 and after that flash what you need from TWRP.
Well it's an easy, I flashed this stock via twrp and I used root checker to be sure that's my tab is rooted but I didn't find supersu!

In short xposed framework is just an addition to the in-built framework of your ROM. It helps you to customize your ROM for personalization and adding extra features to your device. Try googling xposed framework and keep working on it to get deeper knowledge about its modules and stuff.
But, make sure you know how to recover your device from bootloop and softbrick before installing the xposed framework. :good:

Could be possible, because this is ROM was created from Sony for Germany. Maybe they didn't integrated Arabic language and letters.

Didn't made that much comparison with TabZ, but on my Z1c I can confirm that some things are better with KitKat like bluetooth (only 5.02...didn't testet 5.1.1 till now) and other things like touchscreen response (phantom touching) is better in lollipop. Concerning batterylife I didn't saw any difference.
Well and the design / functions of lollipop are a question of personal liking. I personally hate the new LockScreen and its notification behaviour.
I would be happy finding a xposed module which would bring back old lockscreen on Lollipop, but I'm afraid this isn't that easy....
Well, I am big fan of Sony, I got Sony Xperia Z and I love lollipop in it and btw I have installed stock firmware prerooted as well
But frankly I am preferring kitkat in my tablet it's looks much better and easier
Anyway thank you for your helping bro

Yes this firmware has a bug in it when switching to a 4g network, i have found a work arround if you take the framework-res.apk from moonbreakers latest rom 11.0 and replace the stock one located in /system/framework/ then reboot and wipe cache and dalvik, all should work again

There's no such thing as UB version. If your bootloader is unlocked, you can flash any ROM for your device. If you are locked, you can flash only stock ROMs that have the stock Sony kernel.

Yes this firmware has a bug in it when switching to a 4g network, i have found a work arround if you take the framework-res.apk from moonbreakers latest rom 11.0 and replace the stock one located in /system/framework/ then reboot and wipe cache and dalvik, all should work again

Do you have a 32.2.A.5.11 kernel build tool? Thank you
Is there a reason for using sr3 rather than sr5?
Thanks

I have the Xperia Z5 dual E6683 running on android version 6.0.1 and I was wondering if this would be compatible? Also what does "dsds" mean?

Yes of course it is compatible !!
this firmware is particularly for your Z5 model E6683, and which version of Android you are currently running has nothing to do with FTF flashing.
DSDS stands for dual sim dual standby , its a variant marker used by Sony.
Just download the flashtool (google it) and flash the FTF first then the kernel .
before that keep backup of your staffs .

no need to backup then ..............
and for backing up you need to have TWRP .............
for that please do some googling in general ...........
get a overall idea and then get back here in XDA and I think you will fit in just fine ............ we can then help you out with the specifics I think
Hi @chinmoy32y

If I use the XperiFirm software, do I need to do anything special or just download from there and flash from there?
