YAAAYY! TheMyth is back!
Well as a beta tester, i'd like to say this ROM is super fast and the theme is just excellent.
Using it for 4-5 days and no bugs
I think this is as fast as IC Sunday
Note to those who are using CM7.2, install CWM4.0.0.9 first and then flash this, because for one tester CWM5 malfunctioned and his phone screwed up

Battery life is good 2 days almost

So far I am liking what you've done. I've had this up and running for roughly seven hours so far and had no issues at all. RAM use seems fine although I haven't really pushed it to far yet. Its fast and smooth and seems reasonable on battery consumption. The theme is done well too. Had no problems with flashing from CWM 4.x.x First boot took roughly five min. Boots in less than a minute now. So far, so good mate. Thanks for your efforts.
Glad you've gotten rid of the warez this time. Devs work hard on their apps for us.

Bro, Sense is the whole skinned UI + features, the launcher itself was merely known as 'Prism' back in the Sense 5 days and Rosie in Sense 4.
Launcher /= Sense.

Well, idea is to make CM or AOSP ICS rom first, than port sense rom ower it... but I don't analysed if we have all needed source code for msm8974 ower ICS? First of all we will need to get ICS working on our phone!

AICP Rom Coming Soon

Hi, guys.
I found a video on youtube and a guide on xda on how to port roms from one device to another. Since the opo and opx almost have the same specs, I'm thinking on porting AICP rom to opx.
What do you guys think?
Im far from being a developer, but I want to learn, and I think this can be a good beginning.
Any suggestions or comments are welcome.
Edit: I'm not going to port AICP rom to OPX anymore, instead, I'm building from source.
Hopefully, we're going to have an aicp rom soon.

I don't have dev skills neither. >.< It will be my first experience in things like this. Even though porting is nothing like developing or building from source. I will learn that but later.

The thing with this roms is that there is no based rom of these in OPX yet, and to port (as far as I've read) you need a port rom (rom in OPO) and a base rom (rom in OPX).
For example: I chosed AICP 5.1.1 because is based in CM, and we (OPX) have a 5.1.1 CM rom, so they're very similar. There might be a Color OS rom on OPO but we don't have a similar rom on OPX, and to port them will require some real development skills which I don't have. ;D

AOSP marshmallow would be awesome...I don't manage to build it cuz of a weird bug but maybe you can !

This guy is porting kitkat to kitkat but should be almost the same process on lollipop. Im just using this as a guide.

Are you going for miui rom? If yes then I am in.
In my opinion the hardware of lenovo p2 plus miui rom is great combo.

I don't have any knowledge of porting or building roms, but lack of development for our device is really disappointing. Thank God you jumped in. I was also thinking that redmi note 4 has almost identical hardware that of p2. Good luck, we are here to back you up (most probably as testers.) But I can promise that I shall put more effort in learning porting and building.
Btw, a debloated MIUI will definitely go very well with our p2. Also, kindly try to look into other non cm/aosp based roms like LEWA OS, FIUI, EMUI, EUI, COLOR OS, FUNTOUCH OS etc.

Answering your questions... I won't put any additional work on VoLTE as it's not available in my country, but still some ROMs may support it out of the box. Building a ROM better than stock is impossible, the stock Nougat ROM is near perfect imo. MIUI why not, I'm not a fan of it, but I know many others like it.

For me the only major issue with cutom roms is the not working audio slider during conversations (volume is fixed to a mid level) and the fact that during conversation with loudspeaker the other person can hear him/herself, making the conversation impossible. There are some related messages in other threads, look for my posts.
If you manage to fix this this device will almost be perfect, but I don't use volte and I seldom use wi-fi tethering.

Well, by "better" I mean in terms of battery life since I've read lots people saying that custom roms don't perform that good with battery. I would say that a custom rom is better than stock even if it could reach that battery life.
