Damn is my phone broken - Xperia Z2 General

So I bought the phone used for 350 USD. The guy claimed he only used it for two weeks.
Although the phone is great quality, but I think the battery is broken.
Its like drops a percent after other minute use. Anyone please confirm it it's not normal.
Do you know how can I log the battery usage?
Sent from my HUAWEI Y300-0100

From 100% to 70% for 4 hours, just chatting in Internet. Look log in "battery usage " where you can turn on/off "stamina". From 100 to 90 I drown fast. The most long battery life % when it is 60-40%

My phone drops a percent after 5 minutes from 100% and sometimes it takes less time .. but battery life is good

The problem is here when you buy the phone?Try to calibrate battery(there are a lot of methods). The older user probably used wrong his battery. Calibrate and try for another week ...and see the results Do you make a factory reset when you buy it? If you don't ...try it... sometimes factory reset fix batteries calibration problems Sometimes my battery drops like yours but depends what i do.

Yes i did make him do factory reset before I got it. But damn i rush i hadn't, i could have seen total run time.
I read on another thread where it said Facebook app drains battery a lot.
I haven't charged it to 100 percent yet. Will see how long it by doing it.
Uninstalling the Facebook app did make a difference.

Try a hard reset and then flash 4.4.4 again

You should confirm that if the phone is using stock firmware. or you should just flash the stock one by yourself. since you said USED phone.
also if it is battery issue. you should able to get a new one from ebay. and I think there is a video on youtube about open the back panel and change the battery.

Update
Just wanted to post an update.
The About information of my Sony device, non rooted and did complete up to date.
Right now I have it fully charged to 100 percent and have read a few calibration "How-to". I removed it from charged and rebooted the phone. I have install GSM Battery Manager as well.
I still don't know how I can delete battery stats and I think i can't considering the phone isn't rooted. I have stamina mode enabled + low GPU/CPU undervolting option in it.
Lets see how long it last.

Looks like your screen ate a big chunk of that. Maybe you had an application running that disabled dimming/auto lock? Or maybe you have autolock disabled?

No, it was valid screen usage. But I normally pull between 3-4 hours of screen on --- this is 30 minutes and the phone is dead. xD

No one else will have a clue as to what happened either unless you give more information than that screenshot .
ROM? Min/Max frequencies? Governor? Did the phone feel extremely hot during those 38 minutes? Did you try a reboot? What happened after you recharged it? Same or better battery life?
I didn't even know it was possible to eat through the entire battery in under an hour. Seems like it might be a messed up battery and/or battery calibration thing. If you want more information than in that screenshot, you can try installing BetterBatteryStats

I'm thinking it was just a fluke... I woke up, did some browsing, ran a timer (hence the screen-on time), got in the car to go to work and "14% remaining" popped up. I rebooted a few times to see if it was just reporting incorrectly --- but it had actually drained.
Typically I pull ~13 hours, ~3 of screen-on, and ~7 of Pandora. I'm more than satisfied with battery.... normally. It seems to have gone back to around that level after a recharge, but I'll know for sure tomorrow.
Battery was fine today. Sitting at 23 hours on ~130% battery (some slight charging halfway through), 20% remaining, 3.5 hours of screen, and 7 hours of Pandora.
I guess my phone had a case of the Mondays.... on a Tuesday.
Most likely had something go wrong with the battery stats.
I had it happen before. I knew my device was around 30 percent battery life. I hooked up to the charger and in less than 5 minutes it said 100 percent. So it would charge further.
Drained the battery fully and quickly of course like the op and fully charged. Haven't had it happen again though.

Terrible Battery Life

Hey guys. I know XDA is filled with battery threads, and I've done numerous searches around the forums and across the internet. Nothing seems to be helping me.
Recently, the battery life on my Nexus 4 hasn't been so great. I've attached a few screenshots of GSAM. Any ideas on what is causing the significant drain? I'm down 15% in 1 hour and have barely touched my phone. Using stock 4.4.2, rooted with some Xposed modules (none of which seem to correlate to being installed near the time of the battery life becoming crap).
Here is a dump from GSAM as well: https://www.dropbox.com/s/z6uo3q5059mcwhu/02-26-14.txt
Edit 2: After just over 4 hours, I'm down to 50% with a ton of wakelocks. This is the part that I can't find any helpful info about. Here's the new log: https://www.dropbox.com/s/tv01k9tbmo38gbv/02-26-14 2.txt
Edit: Trying to fix the images yet again:

You know, I haven't ever on this device. I had on my Samsung Captivate and Nexus S, but have yet to use any sort of battery calibration on my Nexus 4. And now that you mention it, I've had some strange behavior with going from 35% to 25% rapidly, rebooting, and then having it at 30%.
Do you think it's worth a shot? If so, any good apps for this? When I did it on old devices, I just used the CWM option to delete battery stats and then charged/discharged fully. Seems that TWRP (which I have installed) doesn't have this option.

Thanks a lot, hopefully this works!
what the app does it deletess batterystats.bin
but google already stated that its just placebo, this file is only for the batteryicon
thats why cwm removed it.
second those wakelocks are just seconds. so its normal
third. do you have any sync service?(skype, facebook, email, or even google) if so
try disabling temporaly
if dosent work you may wanna try the xposed + xposed module called disable critical shutdown
then wait till phone turns off and charge for minimum 8hours
if not
change rom/kernel
if still not
its your battery(if so, and you still have warranty, you can get an rma if you live in a google area or get money back if you live in a area where lg controls,or buy another battery

Hadn't read about it being a placebo, thanks for the info. I downloaded BBS and think the issue is actually the (common) msm_hsic_host issue. It had several hours today. I'm flashing Matr1x kernel right now, so we'll see if that takes care of the issue.

Try going back to stock android and check the performance. It can be that one of the Xposed modules is causing you the problem.

Help with Battery Life/Power Issues

Hey all
I've been having massive issues with my battery life recently, it's never been great however it's actually gotten a lot worse post Kit Kat. I've taken a few screenshots on a few different apps like GSam Monitor, Wakelock detector and Battery Widget, I was wondering if somebody could help me diagnose the issue. Or at least just give me general insights into the numbers that I'm getting in terms of battery life.
EDIT: Just noticed a new issue where a couple of times my battery was somewhere in the 40's and then the phone crashes and when I start it back again it just has about 2 % battery left. Weirdly enough, after charging it for a couple of minutes, that battery now goes up to 30%. Would love to know if somebody has had a similar issue and what might be a way to go about trying to find some sort of solution.

1. If the screen is jittering and phone crashes... Battery is bad..
2. Try flashing stock firmware... Might be a software issue

same battery issue here. Its not because software. i tryed CM11m11, Ubuntu Touch, stock.. same problem. Im waitting new battery, because i was not that gentle with batteru when i was repalcing camera 15 days ago.
Usualy moment before phone restart, lose sim signal, then freeze and restart
If flashing stock doesn't resolve it, I'd say the battery is dying. I went from 2 hours between charges to 12-14 with a new battery.

I installed stock rom by tutorial what i found here, but problem stay same. Waiting for new battery
My battery is also dying (switched to new phone now). It averages about 1 hour of SOT over several days and it's only wifi only. I guess I could swap out a fresh one but it goes to show that we need easily removable batteries but they just don't last that long.

Did your battery life return to "normal"? Not that the Nexus 4 ever had great usage time. I might attempt it myself as a challenge.

It did. I've connected my LG G Watch to my N4 so Bluetooth, GPS and mobile data are always on.
But Facebook is a Batterykiller I'm working from 07:45am till 4pm and when I come home I've around 40%-50% battery left.

Around 3-4 hours when my Bluetooth, mobile data(3G) and gps is on. But I can't tell it exactly cause I'm not using it that much anymore cause my primary phone is the N5.
I replace battery, now everithing works perfect. It was battery problem, not software.

Users regarding battery life from Droid Turbo

I've been waiting for my battery to die. This is my normal use. I just do what I normally do.
Streamed music to my car while driving for a while
browsed reddit/xda and other forums a lot... mainly on WiFi.
Had data/wifi disabled when I didn't need it on... really no point. Takes 3 second to enable it again
~50 texts with a few MMS sent. I'm not a popular person
checked voice mail once.
2-3 bars where I live.

LOL Oh. Yeah your right. Didn't realize that. I have wireless chargers everywhere "even made one that was non-slip for my truck" must have put it on one sometime and forgot. Sorry bout that guys. Didn't mean to post a false reading LOL But still I've seen pretty close to those numbers several times without charging.. Depends on what I've been doing of course.
Btw That was an old screenshot I just had in my gallery from not long after I got the phone.
Ive gotten 34 hours out of it so far im really impressed
I have the moto Maxx, Mexican firmware. I´m from Argentina.
Could you tell me guys the version and the baseband of yours?
Because it seems that the latin america version the battery is barely poor.
Thanks!
Damn... Going beast mode with this battery. Would've gone longer, but gotta use it more tomorrow when I'm out. Ya, I know I only have 4hrs of SOT. Haven't been using much
I assume anyone getting more than 48 hours of battery life is turning off data, or at least disabling updates/background data. Just out of curiosity, do you always keep that turned off, or do you just do that when you're seeing how much you can squeeze out of the battery? In my mind, the big reason to get a device with a big battery is so you don't have to baby the battery like that.

[/IMG]Hey guys I'm new to the forum and I was wondering if I could get a helping hand. I bought a used 6p for like 200 bucks which was a good grab (in my head I was gonna buy a j7 prime for like 225 why shouldn't I buy this phone). So later on I was losing battery percentage fast like a 10 min video would be like 10 to 20 percent so I thought it was the software (7.1.1). So flashed it and it got a bit better, it wouldn't drain that fast but still not usable for anything lol. So I was planing on buying a battery and a battery cover (chassis) cause it was kinda beaten up but, irony kicks me in the ass and I can't order a battery or find a battery in my area (Iraq). While typing this message it used 8 percent within 10 or so minutes. Yet while in dose mode doesn't drop 1 percent at all like 8 hours or more of downtime, But the phone is very random at times like it wouldnt use juice for some time or sometime it would drain like no tomorrow but I'm averaging 2 or so hours of screen on time. So if anybody could help in anyway I'm more then happy try anything even opening the phone (I fix phones for a living lol). Thanks for your time and sorry for this long ass message but I wanted to be clear about my problem, so thanks a lot BTW I looked a the charging by AC thing I the battery settings yet it took like more then an hour or so I'm not sure until it said full.

it sounds like you need to calibrate the battery, i don't know how to do it on the 6p, but i used to do it with a button combination on the htc one m7 but each device has a different method to calibrate the battery, search around in the internet and see if u find the method for the 6p.
I tired calibrating the battery and it didn't work and btw does anybody know how I can receive a battery from Amazon I heard their are shipping problems now

You might want to try AccuBattery to verify that your battery is actually bad. You can also reduce screen brightness if the screen is draining your battery. Not sure about Amazon shipping to your country. Sorry.
