First of all, I'm new to xda, and this is my first ever post here!
Basically, since I installed CM 12 on my LG G2 d802, everything worked marvelously.
I love CyanogenMod and all of its features, the performance increase and everything.
But, I can't manually install apps from .apk files. It starts installing, and then says "app not installed". I tried installing it with the terminal app, using the 'install' command, and I get the error -" daemon did not start, starting it at port 5037" and it goes over and over and over.
I can't install manually at all. Help pls!

Hello all,
Admittedly, I am a noob. Ive searched the boards for similar solutions to mine, but to no avail. Here is my situation:
I rooted my kindle fire using burritoroot3 and worked beautifully. I had no problem with the root or the process. I came across an ICS launcher that I found good enough to install on my device. I installed it, and instead of testing to see if it would crash, I checked the "use this as default launcher" or something similiar box and now even after hard resetting m KF, and rebooting multiple times, every time it starts up, I get the message
"Sorry
The application ICS 4.0 Launcher (process android.process.acore) has stopped unexpecedly. Please try again
Force Close. "
m
I would like to know if this is fixable or if there is a way to revert back to the other launcher or uninstall the ICS 4.0 one and be able to use it again. I guess this is a "semi-brick" because it loads up fine, doesn't bootloop or anything.
I want to thank you guys in advance even if you are unable to help me!
Use root explorer move the apk from data/app to system/app then reboot
How would I do that? I cant access anything on my device. As soon as it starts up, it force closes on me right after i slide to unlock...
if you have twrp installed you can boot into twrp and have adb commands available
then you can use adb to copy the file ...
Hi im running kitkat on my d801 g2. whenever i install viper4android on my lg g2, and press to go in the app, the app keeps crashing. My phone is rooted qnd i have superuser installed. It happens everytime. I also downloaded the proper version for it. Do you guys know what the problem is?
Ive recently installed RR on my k20 plus. So far I'm pretty happy with it, but I really liked the lg keyboard that came with the k20. So I downloaded an APK and it installed successfully but when I select it in the keyboard settings I get a "lg keyboard has stopped" msg followed by numerous "lg keyboard keeps stopping" msgs. Any thoughts? I haven't been able to find anything close to an answer.
You may have to make it a system app.
That happened to me as well with aother app, and i discovered that it was being caused by installing Viper, Audio Modification Library, Audio Compatibility Patch through TWRP instead of using Magisk.
I am rooted with magisk and have TWRP installed on my OnePlus6T running OOS 10.3.1.
I recently noticed that im suddenly not able to open Gallery and Pokemon Go because it closes immediately and a notice saying "Permission Controller Keeps Stopping" shows up.
What is wrong with my phone and how can I fix it?
Please help me out
edit: I might be thinking it is because of Swift Installer. But even when I uninstalled every theme, It still shows the error for apps which requires permissions.
So background check
Unlocked bootloader through official LG website and the popular guide from this forum.
Rooted with Magisk, went smoothly.
Used Smali patcher to create a mock location module.
Flashed this with Magisk.
Now, i've been trying to install the apps from app store as well as through the .apk files i downloaded to the SD card and I get the same error message for every app. Googling this error gave me basic clear cache/data guidance and this does nothing. Have i actually screwed up my LG G6 on day one?
