I just got a 910c international unlocked and bought a prepaid t-mobile sim card while staying in USA. I'm getting a very weak signal compared to other phones. Phone broke?

I am investigating into purchasing the HTC Touch 3G and have been noticing that some retailers are saying that it runs on the At&t network. If so does it run on their 3G network or is it just the Edge network.
I was just reading over some forums earlier and someone mentioned it does not work on ATT 3G.
I just got the phone yesterday, but the reception is SPECTACULAR when I put in my ATT 3G sim card. However people are saying it is not 3G for all US carriers.
I bought my phone shv-e370k olleh and bought a prepaid lte sim card. I tried it but my phone cant detect 4g. Im from Philippines.
I currently have the following phone (rooted using CF-Autoroot):
Model: SPH-L720T
Android Version: 4.4.2
Baseband version: L720TVPUAMK5
Kernel: 3.4.0-2345871 Jul 31 2014
Build: KOT49H.L720TVPUBNG5
The phone works on T-mobile for all calls and messaging but only gets 3G speed. If I set it to LTE it will not pick up the T-Mobile signal even with the fast.t-mobile apn
Any ideas on if I can modify the phone to work with t-mobile 4G LTE?
same problem here but im with AT&T and i believe that cannot happen because Sprint model doesn't support some signal bands, so is not possible to fetch that LTE 4G signal Just 3G or H+ can happend.
how can this not be possible?

how is this not possible especially given the phone has sim card support when sprint doesnt use sim cards. from all my reading about this phone (especially the triband varient) it is the same gs4 as every other usa gs4, with just specific software and extras for sprint. an unlocked phone (say buying out contract, etc from sprint) should work 100% with a diff carrier at that point (or unlocked by alternate means)
i dont know if i am right here..but im highly interested cause in USA sprint and tmobile only carriers period with true unlimited 4g...and tmobile waaaaay faster the sprint (atleast in my area in ohio)
Hi all
Im running the 7.0 ROM, bootloader and radio from tupac4u and am getting terrible reception in the UK most noticeable in the Poole/Bournemouth and south area.
I was on pure nexus previously and had the same issues.
I am roaming from NZ and usually it connects to Vodafone UK and sometimes EE.
Has anyone had any issues with reception here with the USA model phone? (I know 4g won't work but 3g+ is still hugely spotty and even call GSM reception and network is terrible).
Is there anything i can do? My colleague has a s6edge and gets better reception than me most of the time and we have the same mobile servive plan.
. thanks

These gsm bands should be supported by the US model:
850 GSM
900 (E-GSM) GSM
1800 (DCS) GSM
1900 (PCS) GSM
Scouce: https://www.frequencycheck.com/models/GNoeA/google-nexus-6p-h1511.
Me personaly i would never buy a US model for the EU/World market.
Thanks for your response. I am just wondering if there is a UK radio I can flash to get a better signal in general. My colleagues with similar banded phones get much better reception so I am just wondering if it is something to do with the 6P?
I'm in the UK for work, and on roaming .. if I lived in the UK I would have purchased a global model for sure.
Cheers
I just got my factory unlocked US996 version from Ebay. I have 2 sim card tmobile and a Mexico AT&T, both work great on my galaxy s6 (g920t)
But with the new US996:
With the t mobile has LTE, but very poor signal, 1-2 bars indoor and 3 outdoor.
With the Mexico AT&T sim, It stuck with 3G only
According to LG official specs it has all the LTE band G920T has (except band 8), Is there a reason why it's not working as expected?
Is there any service menu or something that I can verify the support bands?
I'm lost
