Hi,
Sometimes I check what happens in the AT&T Galaxy Note II threads. This morning I found this thread there: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2496292
I haven't tested it, and I don't know how it will work on N7105. I'm just posting the link and take no credit for that. Please check the OP for more info if you are interested.
Cheers!

This is a leak for i317..
Its probably not a good idea to flash this to n7105. ....
GT N7105 with XDA Premium......that is all......
Perhaps not a good idea to flash. Maybe some dev can look at the kernel and see if there is something useful there for us, but maybe it is to much work for little gain. Hopefully we can get our own leak soon

just looked at it quick, but there's a few reason's i wouldn't flash it on my device
1) its a leak so not fully bugfree probably
2) its not for the 7105 meaning modem will probably be different and kernel as well
3) knox, if they haven't implemented a workaround for it its a one way ride, can't flash other roms afterwards
4) no root
3+4 would also be the reason i wouldn't flash the official or leaked 4.3 for the n7105 untill there's a root option for it and they have a workaround for knox ^^
just give it a short while and we have our own leaked rom, as samsung probably got rid of most of the general bugs/issues present in the rom with the leaked 7100, now its a matter of leaking out device specific roms in order to see if there are device specific issues that need to be taken care off
I317 roms work on n7105. Is there any way to decompile the rom and replace the modem with one from mf2?

DerTeufel1980 has the n7105 and he's probably the most experienced developer with our device I know. Might be worth asking him to take a look if he hasn't already

If it works on i317, then it will work on n7105. I am using a n7105 rom on my i317m.

don't think that statement is completely true, if i'm not mistaken the n7105 (t0lte) build should work on all the other devices as its more generic, but due to some changes in the builds the other ones won't work as well on the 7105.
if they where all the same and all work witouth any issues on every device, then it would be pointless to release for example a rom for both t0lteatt and t0ltetmo if a rom for t0lte would be enough for all 3 models.
You got me curious though and it's gonna be something i'm gonna take a deeper look at, but if a single rom would be sufficient for all models then the dev's would be wasting a lot of time by creating all those different models
So taking that into account i would say that even though it works by using a t0lte rom on your t0lteatt, it won't mean a tolteatt rom would work all that well on a t0lte.

okay, i just googled it and gonna correct myself a bit the roms are exactly the same, the only difference is what they are called in the about phone part of the settings.
if there's more differences please let me know, i'm extremely curious now

The only difference is the modems being different. The kernels are interchangeable.
Sent from my SGH-I317M using Tapatalk now Free
if the modems are different i wouldn't advise flashing a non t0lte rom onto a t0lte, especially if there's no way to root and/or revert back to older roms in an easy way.
haven't read up since earlier this morning so i'm a bit clueless as to what's happening in the leaked rom thread, but if you flash the rom and you get stuck with it, its not something worthwile, especially not if we would get a leaked version of our own soon
gonna make a big gamble here but i would say that samsung will "leak" a version for the n7105 within 2 weeks, hasn't been that long since the 7100 got a leaked rom, and now there's a new one for the AT&T so maybe 2 weeks max and it'll be here Seeing as the only differences between the devices is software related.
rather be patient and use a leaked version meant for the device i have, rather than screw things up by being impatient and flash a rom that might or might not work
As far as I read it in the att thread, people just could root it and install custom recovery as always.
I am also trying to make a flashable zip of it, but never did things like this before, hence I don't know if it works.

I am going to research a way to make a cwm flashable rom from att leak and stop it from flashing the modem. Im running clean rom ace 4.9 this rom does exactly that. It flashea the rom minus the modem

On Windows I am using ext4_unpacker and ext2explorer to extract the contents of the *.img files. You then just can place it in a zip.
I just swapped my extracted system.img with the one from hurricane 4.3 rom.
This gave me a functional zip which took me just 10 minutes.
Unfortunately I seem to be missing something, and I am stuck during boot.

Can we flash the one click install on our 7105?
Sorry, I don't know.

Will it keep my modem?
You need to wipe, but no need to flash stock rom. Modem was kept for me

Well there was an Xposed module for getting the aosp lockscreen on other roms but as the dev wrote in this theard here, he won't update the mod to work on android 4.3 so it's for sure not working on the note 3.
So here's my question:
Does anybody knows an good alternative to get the aosp lockscreen on an rooted but still stock Note 3?
Best regards, Lenniitsch

Ok since LuneOS has been officially supportted, should we consider porting it to our beloved Moto G (It's availble for N4 and N7 though)

Honestly, I wouldn't port it since it is not a very friendly OS right now... Besides, it's not as clean and nice as KK..

Yeah well, I'm just saying that it COULD be ported to our device. Though I'd prefer using PA now XD

Obviously it's possuble to port it.. But, if someone does it, it will be just like an experiment, not for daily driver since you'll drive crazy, you'll miss KK more that ever
It's a nice initiative but this is one of the few devices that I'd rather keep stock, as it supports 4.4.4 and you can get pretty nice functionality on the stock rom (which is very optimized) with some xposed packages.
If a dual boot option is possible I would maybe try LuneOS.
MultiROM is already ported to moto G falcon... just a matter of time and developers.
In fact, what we need is a port of libhybris, that can be used to boot Linux systems, currently available Sailfish OS and LuneOS, I would prefer Sailfish... However, to do this work, we need someone who has the skills, the device and wants to do it, because it is some difficult sh*t to and not comparable to build a custom ROM.
I experienced that, most of the time, it lacks two those aspects. We could as well pay a dev to do so, but i don't know...
However, MultiROM doesn't work with recent Sailfish ports and probably won't.
There is a guide on how to port Sailfish OS to existing android devices, which includes setting up libhybris, of course. The problem is, it's cased on cyanogenmod 10.2 which we don't have on the moto g and there are some problems with KitKat.
The Moto G is a device with a lot of fans, but as well there are more which use the falcon variant and so have to wait. But I believe it will only be a matter of time, till libhybris will be working either the falcon the peregrine

Why is there no custome roms and no CM12? There are only 2 or 3 of Roms. That can not be true?
Because of exynos ??? Omega team ??? Anybody ???
lol..are u guys serious?the device still new,plus...sam is well known for not to releasing the code for their chipset, since forever
but then, just wait for the devs here to figure it out, patient, dont rush it.
devs totally hate noobs rushing it
LOL! Samsung is using Exynos not Snapdragon therefore Cyanogen is not present.

We no longer have any custom kernel for z2 and z3,only advanced stock so im asking here:
If you are a dev and know how to compile a kernel - please try to make MM kernel with few most needed features for all of us who were using androplus kernel and really dont feel good on stock kernels.
Probably most people would like undervolting, one or two custom govs etc.We dont need all the great features of androplus kernel, just some of them..
There must be someone with enough skill to add some features to kernel, mayby our z2/3 community could get together and add some bounty for that.
Sony released the sources already:
http://developer.sonymobile.com/downloads/all-downloads/open-source-archive-for-23-5-a-0-570/
If you know how to compile but scared to test on your own phone, then im up for testing on my Z2.
Totally agree, best features would be underrvolting and one or two custom governors!
In great need of a custom kernel for MM. On the other hand, is it possible to keep LP kernel and flash MM ROM?
It is possible but MM wont work on LP kernel - different drivers etc.

Is it bootloop? Can a bootloopfix solve it?
No, MM differs a lot from LP on kernel side and there is no way to make MM run on LP kernel. What i meant before is that you can keep LP kernel on MM (you asked about it) but I totally didnt mean it will ever work

Meh its just a stock kernel with recovery, will do just right for some users but here we were talking about custom kernels, which give you more control over phone hardware.
I'm willing to create a custom kernel, I have some Linux background but I need help of course. I'm using this custom stock kernel for MM too. I just want the "zzmoove" governor on it, some underclock & overclock and QUICK CHARGE feature. I have the building environment set up, just need some help now.
Hear me, big brothers.
I know how to compile kernel from source, did it often with AndroPlus Kernel (to add QC), but I don't know how to add features to the kernel and how to fix stuffs and how to work with github...

Now I try to compile the kernel from source, getting nowhere with the Sony developer guide. It will be great if some one can shed some light on it.
I think we should invite AndroPlus or Myself5 to this thread, mayby together we could figure out something. If i remember correct there is a sort of a tutorial on androplus github but its not enough.Mayby creating a small chat group on whatsapp with some more expirienced kernel devs would do for you guys? I can try to ask a few about that.
On vacations I'll surely give it a try, lets better do it with Telegram, not everyone wants to give his number

Great! Conpiling the kernel from source is not that difficult, just to add features is not easy or fix bugs..

The kernel is not booting.
This might be difficult to debug since it doesn't seem to be from the kernel nor the ramdisk.
There is a xperia_readme inside Kernel folder. It says it's for C6543, not sure if that contribute to the issue of not booting.
I also just compiled the zImage. I just don't know where to get the ramdisk.img and commandline. Can someone help me out?
Hi, I think this would be a great idea, especially if the dev can add the multirom (kexec-hardboot patch) support.
Thanks
