After flash a Systemui mod by Rastigo, I am no longer able to change my navbar button configuration in LG settings. I am familiar with decompiling the systemui. How would I alter the position of the buttons? I am currently on the latest cloudy stock ROM.
Thanks
Nobody have any ideas? I tried editing the navbar xml file, but that has no effect.

Hey guys,
i tried to hide the navbar on my N4 with Stock 4.2.1 firmware.
I added to build.prop the line: "qemu.hw.mainkeys=1"
now the Nexus 4 won't boot up. I had to restore the old build.prop.
Permissions of the build.prop were set right.
Has anyone a solution for hiding the navbar?
I want to use the Pie Controls of LMT, so i don't need the navbar.
Perhaps you messed something like else up? I'm using that right now, albeit on Bionic pure AOSP. It works fine.

Click to collapse
I added the same line to build.prop with root explorer and use Button Savior without any difficulty. Try again-you must have done something wrong. Maybe you didn't put the new text on a separate line at the end. Make sure you do not use the quote marks. Root explorer renamed the original file and saved it for me. Another thing you can do is use custom roms that have an option to remove the soft keys.
okay I found out what the problem was.
I didn't update Root Explorer and the Version 2.14.<something> messed my build.prop up, everytime i saved it.
With the newest Version of Root Explorer it works fine.
Thank you for your help.

hi.
Can I customize the navigation bar button mapping, In a ROM that doesn't have this feature built in? (for example, by editing some system files or flashing a mod).
Thanks.

all what we need is
1-moded system ui flashable zip
2-xperai/AOSP navabar buttons apk
3-rooted device with exposed installed
4-root explorer or other root browser
at first flash the systemuu.zip file I provided through recovery(this is themed system ui to look like S5 thx to vadakkeveetil who provide it
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2760990
by then I moded the system ui to show navigation bar
after glashing the system ui open your root explorer and gi to system>build prop ,right click on it and choose open with text editor and paste that line and save
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
install xperia /Aosp navabar button apk and allow it to work through exposed then restart your phone
after you reboot ,open xperia /aosp navabar button and un tick menu and search and arrange button as you like, change button hight to about 60% or what you like
now enjoy your navigation bar on stock rom
another thing>in my phone I changed dpi to 235 instead of 240 you can do that through editing build prop and change

The rom I'm using is Resurrection remix and there's no option to display seconds in the status bar clock. I have read some things and tried the "xmoreintime" Xposed module but still no luck as it hasn't been updated for a while and it has no effect. I can append seconds to the date with a custom Java format but the seconds don't update unless I turn the screen off and on. Will I have to decompile and recompile the systemui if not where can I edit the clock format to add seconds? Must I decompile the apk or can I just edit the systemui XML files in the shared preferences folder?
Solved. :good: The Xposed module: flat style bar indicators seems to work. But if there's an easy way to do this without Xposed as I like to use as little modules as I can, then I'd like to hear.
any help plz? I want a nav bar without the hide arrow. One which is always present
editing build.prop.
you need to be rooted
